Freaking love Cubbies! I have to admit for the price, this place is bomb. Considering other semi-nice burger places, it ranks up there with some of my favorites. The service is incredibly fast. The burgers are juicy (my fave is the Dragonslayer-blue cheese inside the patty!). The decor and seating is modern but comfortable. They were very accommodating in that they allowed our dog on the patio seating. Also not only can you get a great burger, but the salads are too notch. Grassfed and cage free is also a plus . read more

Always the best food. Always the best breakfast. Always the best service. Top 5 places to eat in Utah for me. Did I mention it's my favorite breakfast spot? So good! Amazing, healthy and delicious. read more

I really liked this place. The combination of flavors was original and delicious. It was clean and modern. Everything tasted fresh and seemed to be made to order. read more

No vegan desert black bean burger is like eating mush. No texture tal it off the menus if you don't have it.

I freakin love everything about this place. I really think this is the best burgers in town. The smothered fries are delicious

It took years of seeing this place all over Utah before my wife finally took me here. It was not at all what I was expecting. There are very few fast food places that their main motto is beef, and they also push organic ingredients, because high quality organic beef is expensive, and not as common. We got the tri-tip steak sandwich and just shared it, along with the buffalo blue cheese fries, and some sweet potato fries. The sandwich was alright, and the beef had some good flavor, but truly was nothing extremely special. Both of the fries were on the above average for fast food style fries. This place has something special going for it, judging by how busy it was. It's vibe and atmosphere were both above average, and it definitely had the hipster vibe with it. People get very excited about food, and its restaurants like this that makes that spark with food continue. Sometimes upscale dining, even when it comes to fast food, has nothing to do with service and quality of food, just how you make someone feel when they leave the restaurant, and in with this, it succeeds. read more

Had the tri-tip steak sandwich. Pretty good for a sandwich place... the meat was a little over done but it's a sandwich place not a steak house. I'm probably not the target market. Fine for a quick lunch but nothing stands out for the foodie. Simple inexpensive food doesn't have to be boring HRD in San Fran is a great example. But I guess it is better than a burger and fries. read more

Sandwiches are super delicious! Price is a bit steep. Budget about $15 per person with a soda.

Again, my beet and goat cheese salad was great BUT I wish my beets were cut up, more, not just sliced.

I went to Cubby's before heading to Cornbelly's last fall. Their food is locally sourced, and it is amazing quality. My favorite is the Houdini burger, and their mac and cheese is fabulous. While it's not the cheapest, you definitely get your money's worth in unique taste and quality. The only room for improvement is in the speed as they can be pretty slow about getting the food out. The interior of the place is super cool and modern. I love it and will keep going back! read more

I honestly love everything about this place. Every time I go with family or friends we end up eating everything "family style" bc we just can't decide what to eat! We love it all! My personal favorite is the buffalo blue cheese fries. They just have that yummy hot buffalo sauce that I love and a good creamy yet chunky blue cheese sauce (which I was told by an employee that it was made in house. Bravo cubby's ) all on top of perfectly crunchy/soft French fries! Pair that with a nice big tri-tip steak sandwich and you are set to be in food heaven!! They also have an amazingly creamy Mac and cheese. Literally anything here is mouthwatering un-regrettable read more

The new one in Draper is better, faster and cleaner. I called in my order but forgot my wallet. So I had to go all the way back home because they don't allow online ordering or tap payments like Apple Pay. I get the Che Burger now, even though the Tri Tip sándwich used to be my jam. Get maple fries (sweet potato fries with maple syrup/sugar glaze) and it will change your life. read more

Had the Dragonslayer and that was pretty awesome. Very flavorful. Bread was perfect as was he sauce they put on it. The bacon was crispy without being burnt--just the way I like it! Kid got the T-Rex and loved it. The portion is a good-size for my big-appetite 8-year-old. Love how it came with a cup of fresh fruit too. Hubby got the Tri Tip Steak Sandwich with both BBQ and honey mustard sauces on it. He's had it before and really likes it. We tried the BBQ blue cheese fries and weren't too impressed. The blue cheese flavor would have been ten times better if they used bleu cheese crumbles instead of a dressing. The fries were really good, though. (And the fry sauce and chipotle fry sauces were good too--watch out, the chipotle sauce has quite a kick!) I definitely want to go back and try a salad and dessert. Saw lots of salads going to other tables and they looked yummy. The desserts sounded really yummy on the menu. Overall, I'd recommend it to others and will most likely be returning for more visits myself. :) read more

I've been to this particular location several times, and I'm surprised I haven't ever written a review. I'm going to compound my visits rather than simply review them based on the last time I went (which I'd say was my most disappointing trip and leaves me unable to give them a solid five stars). Their menu is pretty varied, but it definitely caters to a very specific crowd. Not a lot for vegetarians (they're not devoid of veg-friendly options, and let's be honest, their logo is a cow, so you know), and they tend to use a pretty good amount of spice on everything or buffalo sauce, so if you're like my parents and don't eat red meat or tolerate spice of any sort, you'll be less likely to find something to eat. It sounds like I don't like them - I totally do, so let's get into that. I've tried sandwiches, burgers, and a salad thus far and have been happy each time except the last (and I wasn't mad by any means, just disappointed - more on that later). Their sweet potato fries are some of the best in the entire valley, and they have regular fry sauce, chipotle fry sauce (YUM), and pedestrian ketchup (I kid, I kid). Seriously they're amazing. The rosemary shoestring fries are great, too, but really there's no reason to not order the sweet potato fries. Their Tri-Tip Sandwich is really delicious, and their burgers are great too (I had the Houdini, which was packed with tons of flavor). They tend to cook their burgers well done, but I recently contacted them on Instagram and learned they will cook to your liking, so I'll request medium rare next time. The only disappointing experiences I've had were: The Cockadoodledoo during visit one was perfection and too spicy for my mom's tastes during visit two - not sure when or why they changed the spice mixture on the chicken, but that was kind of sad) and The Tri-Tip Salad during my most recent trip. It seemed quite lettuce heavy - like, too much lettuce to other ingredients for the cost, especially in comparison to salads I've seen friends order - and then despite roasted bell peppers being the second ingredient listed, there were honestly two tiny pieces. I kept thinking maybe I'd find more as I continued to eat, but no. Two measly bits. It wasn't frustrating enough to complain by any means - the meat was cooked perfectly, the dried cherries and feta created a perfectly salty, tangy, savory and sweet flavor, and the dressing is bomb - but I have an affinity for roasted bell peppers. Anyhow, I'll still definitely go back because it's a great restaurant and one of the best in the area. It can get pretty crazy, but I've never had bad service either. read more

I finally tried Cubby's after countless personal referrals - I'm glad I did! First of all - I like the atmosphere. Their menu / ordering style is well designed and I love that when you wait in line there are photos of many of the dishes. Their menu selection is fabulous - I had a hard time choosing what I wanted between the delicious burgers and awesome salads and sandwiches. I ultimately chose the Houdini Burger and the buffalo fries (almost every table in the restaurant had them so I figured they were on to something). My friend had a sandwich. Everything was absolutely fantastic. The ingredients were so fresh, the combinations were tasty. I'll venture to say this was actually one of the best burgers I've had. I love that it wasn't overly greasy. The portions were filling and the prices are extremely reasonable. To top it off, the food came out quickly considering how busy it was, and all of the staff was very pleasant and cheery. I will be back here many many times. read more

I have been to the one in Provo and was pretty impressed with the service and attitude, and while I like the environment, it's just located in kind of a crap area.. good luck parking... The Thanksgiving point location seemed to be opposite. Big, clean, and efficient to the point it loses personality. The food was really good but a touch pricy. My main love is the Rosemary fries. In Provo they were amazing... Thanksgiving point locale there was just the smallest of hints of a Rosemary aftertaste.. i felt that I just got cheap, very overpriced, regular fries. I like Cubby's, and the food was still good, but I'd steer clear of the Thanksgiving point store. read more

Thank you Yelpers this was a great find. We were in a bit of a hurry looking for some quick take out. Parking lot was packed and so was the restaurant which scared us a bit. However there were 3 people in front of us. We order a tri-tip sandwich (the bigger size), a chicken sandwich, Fries, small Mac and cheese, and 2 drinks. For a total of $20 Whoop Whoop! Ours order came out in about 7min and both sandwich were delicious and huge. Bread was amazingly soft... There was so much meat on the tri-trip. Needless to say fries and mac and cheese were great as well. Wish there was one of these down in San Diego. Definitely coming back when around this area read more

Not quite a fan yet after my first visit. But I'm willing to give them a chance. I ordered their Mr Beef in wet variand. The bread is tasty and the sauce tasted really nice and just right for me in terms of spiciness. However, I can't seem to get through with the beef. It tasted like it's not part of the dish. Maybe a cheese would have made a difference but that would make it more of a Philly sandwhich and not Chicago's own. I'll probably come back to try their salads. Maybe it's just me since, there were a lot of patrons standing and eating. Must have been the norm for a Friday office lunch out. read more

I'm giving this place 4 stars because of all the places in this area, this is absolutely where I would chose to go over all the rest. It's really yummy. My husband doesn't prefer their tritip sandwiches to other places he has had them so he doesn't love this place like I do. I like the gypsy burger, all the fry options and my favorite is the 3 cheese grilled cheese. It has a lot more than just cheese on it and it's amazing. You pay a bit more but unlike other yelpers I actually can taste the difference in their meats and I feel better about eating one of their local organic burgers than some chain burger somewhere else. read more

This is probably my last visit to one of these, unless someone really really wants to go there when I'm with them. I can appreciate eclecticism to a degree, but here it is full tilt, to the point where it's obnoxious and inconvenient. It's probably ok for regulars, who have an idea of what they want, but I'm not a regular and will never be as the food itself has yet to be good enough for me to consider making it anywhere near my regular rotation. It's not bad and I wasn't dissatisfied with that visit particularly, but seating here is all over everything and the menus are not particularly noticeable, especially if a group of idiots is standing in front of the one box that has menus at all, such as this visit. As I was sitting at the table, it struck me that continuing to go to these was over-reaching to enjoy them and three strikeouts in 3 locations led me to an inescapable conclusion. I would rather be somewhere else and so from now on, except in rare exceptions, I will be. I've gone through a number of menu items. The Dragonslayer was acceptable, but I wouldn't put it above, for instance, a skillfully executed Five Guys burger. The Tri-Tip was arguably the best thing and where I normally tell people who want to go here to start, but again, good, not great and it strongly depends on how much of a hurry the kitchen staff is in. A few different fry variations, probably Smokey BBQ Bleu is the one I liked best, but again, nothing that makes this a destination for me and on the other end of the scale, the Maple Fries are an abomination. Overall, Cubby's is one of those places I'd tell people to check out, if they were interested and hadn't been, but the bottom line is it just doesn't resonate with me...though not for a lack of trying, I guess. read more

My go to place. I am always in the mood for something at Cubby's. I cannot pass through Utah County without stopping at Cubby's. The food is fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I don't get the hype with this place. It seems like the whole Cubby's chain was devised as a means of grabbing cash from millennial tech yuppies. It's overpriced and sloppy. too pricey, raw inside. not satisfying wont give fries or a drink with the order, 5,000 % pricier than a regular burger and there 'gypsie' is only 3 oz of meat less when cooked, and not satisfying. I paid $9.00 for one Gypsie, thinking it would have at least 2 ,4 oz patties for that price. It was teeny tiny as small as a kids burger or smaller. Bun was wraped in the wrapper so tight it was a totally smashed. You can get so much more food value just going to Wendys, yes I say to Cubbys Cafe WHERES THE BEEF! Where is the value, the drink and fries for that price. come on, people want food when they pay $9.00 or they can go to CARLS JUNIORs for that price and get a feast also very RAW on the second burger I got from then 2 months later. I was using the refund coupon and they still made it raw. No way should a customer have to say, cook my burger well done so no parasites are going to enter my body. I went about an hour and 45 minutes before closing this last Saturday night and service was pretty slow considering the ratio of workers to customers. It *seemed* there were workers just standing around while we waited a very long time for our food, but maybe they were wrapping up their shifts or something. I always get the tri tip salad and never get sick of it. So yum. I prefer the Sugar House location which I have been to frequently over the years, but was happy with my salad here and would give this location another shot if I'm ever in the area read more

This place was super busy for lunch at 200 in the afternoon. On a weekday. We ordered a hamburger. Delicious. Good bun. Bacon, grilled onion. First time eating at this establishment. First impression is that it's an up-scale sandwich shop, but the smells are good and lots of good choices on the menu. The ordering process threw me off and was kind of confusing. There's a place to order items that take longer like burgers or chicken ahead of where you order everything else. Simple enough you would think but I was not the only one thrown off by this; everyone behind me started ordering at the same point as well (good so I didn't feel as stupid). Ordered the Tri-tip sandwich, big dog (most places like this skimp on the meat), spicy BBQ sauce, dressed up with pepper jack and jalapeños for a $1 extra. With a medium drink it was roughly $13.50, which is definitely more person than you'd expect to pay for just a sandwich with no sides. The customer service as a bit lack luster, but I'd contribute this to a new staff. The layout of the restaurant is pretty open; however the drinks and condiment area is very tight and it's hard to find things. The actual food tasted pretty good. I loved the spice of the sauce but it was definitely not "spicy" (at least to me). Was the price worth what I got and the wait? Maybe, it was good and I would eat here again but at least not for awhile. If I'm spending that much I'd rather spend it else where unless your buying! read more
