A nice spot for happy hour. I didn't eat here so can't comment on the food but the bar area seems popular (to be fair it was World Cup time). The bartender was pleasant and €6 glasses of proper Champagne made me plenty happy.

The food was good and authentic. The server was Cuban and very friendly. You can tell it's not Cuban owned by the lack of engagement from the owner. The decor is incredible very typical Cuban decor.

B and I were heading toward the Picasso Museum and at the same time we were looking for food. We stumbled upon Cuba Compagnie. I didn't want to look further. So we ate here. We ended up sitting inside. The decor was very interesting. Very Cuban style. The server was friendly. We came in the morning and at the time they offered two breakfast meal options. B and I both got the breakfast of the day complete meal. It came with: Croissant Cafe or Espresso Orange Juice Fruit 2 eggs bacon or sausage. Salad B and I had our breakfast with bacon. The bacon was not the bacon strip. It was basically ham. The meal was very tasty. We left full. I highly recommend coming here. The servers here spoke English but they do not have an English menu.

Went here for a quick breakfast before starting a big day in Paris. Ordered the Continental breakfast, which included coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, as well as orange juice and a pastry. I got hot chocolate, which was very good. The orange juice was very VERY VERY pulpy which I did not enjoy, but had great flavor. My pastry was also tasty, though not the best I've had while I have been in Paris. Service was good, I notice the French don't rush you out after you are finished. Server spoke enough English to understand our order. I noticed a sign that said live music at night which I would love to come see on my next visit to Paris!

A nice place to chill with nice furniture and and good cocktails for a good price from 16h to 20h

Delicious. The end. Actually coming from a Miami this is a decent interpretation for Cuban food. It's a bit pricey but given that it is always open and quick service I think it's an excellent place...when you need some Arroz con frijoles y maduros. Recommend the pork roast it is quite good.

The food was very good! Had doubts because of the 3.5 stars. I've been to Miami before so I've had real good Cuban food. Giving them 5 stars!

Looking for good food in Paris...try this place. Food was good. Service was fast, food came to the table soon after we ordered. Portions are great...plenty to share and eat family style. Prices are not bad either for the amount of food you get.

Mojito, Pina Colada.

Really hoped for something good. Not here really. Tapas sampler was nothing special. Drinks were weak. Good service though.

We ended up going with Ava and her boyfriend Yassine, lining up after dinner, around 10:30 on a Friday night. There was a small crowd waiting outside, and it took us about a half hour to get in. The place was fun and busy, and as charming as I remembered. We got seated in a loungey upstairs area and received excellent table service. There was free popcorn and even a complimentary round of welcome drinks, a strong mini cocktail of Gentian and peated whiskey. The menu had changed over completely since my first visit. The cocktail offerings were printed onto thick printed leaves arranged on metal branches, forming a cool little tree centerpiece that replaced a paper menu (there was also a more detailed menu available online). Several of the cocktails were labeled with raindrops, indicating they were available as mocktails--helpful for Yassine, who doesn't drink alcohol. Matt and I shared two rounds, sampling a good chunk of this new menu. Everything was delicious. The Carbone was a bright, interesting cocktail made with beetroot, black garlic, Origin smoked gin, and Dartigalongue Un-Oaked, served with a cube of frozen yogurt that melted lushly into the beet-red drink. The Serre Solaire was smooth and boozy, with black tea, green walnut and milk, Cointreau, and Rémy Martin cognac. The Résilience was a highbrow tropical cocktail, with sorghum, pineapple sage, Pasquet cognac, and Savanna rum. The Permaculture was creative and flavorful, with chestnut, butter, wakame umeshu, and Avallen Calvados. I also tried a sip of Ava's Aquaponie, a light, juicy vodka drink with basil, lemon and sweet clover, St. Germain, and Grey Goose. I love Little Red Door and I'm glad I got to visit a second time and share it with my husband. We do live kind of far away, but I hope a third visit is in the cards.

So the little red door has a cute red door but the bouncer lets you in through another door (novelty observed haha). The man takes your jacket and umbrella (what a gentleman!) and sat us on the second floor. While the space between the couch and the seats were rather small, we were able to manage. I got the permaculture and resilience. The resilience is a club favorite and my favorite too! The way the sorghum, pineapple sage (syrup), pasquet cognac, and savanna rum all tied together was a blessing. I was going to get a third but I was tipsy by my second drink. My first drink was the permaculture and while I was considered it would be strong, it didn't seem strong to me. I love clarified dairy in alcohol so this was a win in my book. It consists of chestnut, butter, wakaze umeshu, avallen Calvados. The bar let's you stay for an hour but if you sit elsewhere, you can stay as long as you want. 5 stars and I hope to come back someday!

It's a wood paneled intimate bar with limited seating, and it's easy to pretend that Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald are among the customers there too. The bar exudes an old world charm with oak paneled walls adorned with vintage Hemingway photos and memorabilia. They had an impressive lineup of signature cocktails, but in a rare flash of memory from English Lit 101, I felt compelled to channel Hemingway's Jake Barnes in The Sun Also Rises, and chose Champagne instead. As expected the service was flawless. Immediately upon being seated, a young lady brought us olives and mix nuts in a divided dish. The waiter soon followed to take our initial order. Pro tip- They open at 5 pm so get there 10-15 minutes before to stand in line. We got there at 4:45 and there were several people ahead of us. It's a small intimate bar that only seats about 20 something people and it filled up within minutes after we were seated. We saw multiple people getting turned away and when we left, there was a long line at the door. Cheers!!

Unassuming, this cocktail spot in the 7th is a perfect start to a fun evening. My prescription began with an old fashioned coup tailored with "The One." Citrus vodka based classic. It was very good! The champagne foam on top was a first for me. Made the drink trendy I suppose lol. I hung out downstairs until I got hit on by a cute photographer, I'm engaged, so that's a no! But a good sign for single people. It's an environment that creates open conversations. I guess I wasn't done exploring when I ventured upstairs and sat right in between to groups of friends chatting. To my left what looked to be grad students talking about future career plans. They complimented my dress, very nice of them. And to my right a group of friends discussing the topic of dating men who like "going in the back door". One of the ladies seemed very against it but mentioned, "if he really wants to I will atleast one, but i do not prefer it." The mood is intimate and chic. Overall a great time!

We would recommend this bar to others, just don't sit where we did.

I found Danico Bar on one of those World's 50 Best Bars lists, and as it was walk-in only and like half a mile from our hotel, we decided to stroll over and try our luck. It was around 10:30 on a Wednesday night, and there were only a few people waiting ahead of us. Every guest we saw was an obvious tourist like us--many with shopping bags and actual luggage--who'd probably found Danico on the same World's 50 Best list. We got in after a short, comfortable wait, maybe ten minutes, all of them spent sitting down. The bar was dark and glamorous, a speakeasy-style spot in the back of an Italian restaurant. We got a table, which was great. The space was loud and busy, but we had our little perch. Table service was polite and efficient. We hung out until midnight and got in a couple of rounds. There was a thick book of a menu, with thirty cocktails celebrating Danico's tenth anniversary--three definitive drinks from each year. More than half of these were, unfortunately, sold out (it looked like a lot of them were pre-made in finite batches). We did well with what was left, though, including a few signatures available in unlimited quantities. All four of our cocktails were delicious. The Mirror Selfie was the lightest of the bunch, a fizzy highball with Citadelle gin, sweet vermouth, grapefruit, sakura tea, and bergamot perfume. The Sakura was a stronger drink, also with Citadelle gin and sakura, a Negroni variation rounded out with sweet vermouth, Campari, and umeshu. The Sado Miso was an Asian dessert of a cocktail, nutty and creamy but not sweet, made with Pierre Ferrand 1840 cognac rye whiskey, brown butter miso, anko, black sesame, egg, and rice and tofu milk. Then there was the Krakatoa, a wild milk punch with peanut butter distillate, Planteray 3 Stars rum, palm sugar, mango, pineapple, cucumber, sweet potato, lime, and soy milk. I was curious what it would taste like and didn't even know while I was drinking it, but it was fantastic. We had a a lovely time at Danico. The drinks were creative and the vibe was fun, while still easy enough for two elder millennials to enjoy with travel exhaustion. I'd recommend this place if you want interesting cocktails and don't mind drinking among (other) tourists.
