After our first three sessions, (one of which she showed up an hour late for), we struggled finding times that she could come to work with us and our pets. She then informed us after our first three May/June sessions that she didn't work evenings or weekends at all through the summer. This was never mentioned before and would have been something we would have never been able to agree to had we known. Prior to this review, (and after she informed us of her seasonal hours), cordial attempts and requests were made at simply refunding our remaining unused sessions in light of this "scheduling misunderstanding" so that we could both move forward. She told us this wasn't possible and that she didn't provide refunds. While she is able to claim she will provide the services, she makes scheduling nearly impossible and eventually you quit trying and she keeps the prepaid training costs. In our case it amounted to a loss for us of over $200.00. While we would like to hope this was a unique and unfortunate situation, we have since talked to several friends and neighbors who have had similar experiences. Absolute obedience is extremely expensive and from the start offers a service that others don't- in home training for your pets with you. However, I would caution anyone about getting involved with this business- there is a great deal of fine print and unmentioned details. From our experience, this seems to be more of a scam and less of someone interested in meeting the needs of clients.

I went to the Aiken, SC Petsmart a half-hour ago to have my dog's nails trimmed. The lead at the…read moregrooming center said she can't clip my dog, Reefer's nails because her rabies vaccine expired on 8/9. I told her I thought the expiration date was 8/19. I was refused service. When I got home, I looked at her vaccination records, and her rabies shot was good through 8/19, not 8/9. I called the grooming center and spoke to the lead that refused the nail clipping. She said that an associate must have keyed in the wrong date. PetsMart should be making copies of records provided by the customer. I only got a sorry, and that's it. I am a repeat customer, and this is unacceptable to me.
