Everyone was so great. This was my first time donating. Tasha and Dave walked me through the screening process and Sue was great about walking me through the process of donating the plasma as she inserted the needle. I highly recommend eating a full (healthy) meal before donating. I had not eaten enough and did not feel well during the donation process. The entire team took such great care of me. This is the worst plasma center anywhere in the Spokane area! I was 1st time donor and I visited this center 4 straight days in a row and was RUDELY turned away with "We are not accepting new donors today!!" I tried and tried and tried each day to call 1st thing in the morning (6:30am) when they open and after. Every single time I got put on hold and waited 10 to 15 minutes and then got the dial tone. They were hanging up on me!!! If you can't get in as a new donor, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with these incompetent people. I've seen reviews from people who worked there as the cleanup crew and they were mopping up coagulated blood off of the floors and picking up used needles!!! This is DEFINITELY NOT a sanitary place to risk your life at! They should be shut down.ASAP!!! read more

I absolutely love donating plasma It is a really nice way to give back to the community. You are saving lives, and it's really overlooked. I was embarrassed at first when I wanted to start joining, but honestly, the staff are really nice. The office is very clean and professional, and you are doing something to better someone else's life. I don't necessarily need the money, but it does help. I just use it for gas and for, you know, my lunches for work, but it is honestly by far one of the best experiences, and I have a nice time. Whoever they have working behind the desk now is terrible. I was a returning donor of 3 years and came into donate, and they told me I have to eat when I had already eaten. I have waited in lines for multiple hours before and never have I been told that I "have not eaten enough" they didn't even check my blood or anything, they are just lazy and don't want to screen people. No one wants to work there or not, I don't know, but they sure as hell better be a little more respectful of peoples time and wasted gas to get there and start joining the modern tech. world and make a notice online or something that they are not open due to lack of employees. I come to this CSL because of the location, it just so happens that they have a bomb phlebotomy staff and screeners. I'm super horrible with names but seriously everyone I've interacted with is amazing! They have always had such positive energy when I see them. This last time one of the awesome phlebotomist that disconnected me was so funny Hailey was her name. Also thank you to which ever phlebotomist has been making sure there are squishies for us to buy! You're awesome, thank you so much. I can't believe they were getting stolen by donors. That's why I call majority of the time before I come because it's NEVER the staff that I have problems with. read more

I was looking towards donating here vs another location so I called to see how they managed their paying vs other plasma facilities the female was very blunt and saying "it's just like the other one". As soon as I said, but they do this. She would say yea we dont do that...then what do you do?? I didnt sense any welcoming in her voice. The manager should really talk to the people who answer the phones to be more informative and polite. No one wants to be poked by a needle by someone who's annoyed being at work and isnt being friendly to new people. Due to this I wont be going here for sure. read more

Was looking forward to donating today, but the lady at the check in counter may have deterred me from ever donating! The lady was helping another gentleman so I waited patiently. She then looked at my Husband and I and asked in a rude tone "Are you guys here to TRY and become new donors?!" First of all what the Hell does 'try' mean?! Do I have to run a gauntlet first? Or do I have to offer up my first born child?! She was super rude and I did not care for her tone of voice with me. Second of all, she wasn't even looking at me when she spoke and just started spouting off a list of crap I needed to present to her in order to become a new donor. Third of all! If you do not enjoy your job and insist on being short with customers then maybe customer service positions such as that are not your line of work. Maybe you should "TRY" something else! Yes, there are imperfections to any place you go, but the pros outweigh the cons here. You do get a cranky employee from time to time, but it's not the norm. The lines can be long at times but it is due to the timing of when you come in. If you and everyone else and their dog is in there at once, then it'll take a while to get through the line. Also, in their defense, they can't predict 'when' people are going to come in. I don't come in the same time every time, myself. Since I've been coming here, there's never been a problem with cleanliness. And, the staff maintains a nice balance of 'looseness' and 'professionalism.' In addition, I wish they paid cash but I think the credit card payout is just the norm now. Overall, my experience has been good. read more

New to donating. the experience would be better with adequate staff but how about a bottle of water while you wait? How about phone charging centre in the waiting room? One tiny peek from someone in recruiting and retention would pick this up. The place screams we only care about you the customer minimally. How about access to hand sanitizer since when I was there the staff and customers are coughing and sick. Staff aren't nurses btw. They are trained and paid about $13.00/hr maybe less. At one point there were two full rows of people donating and the staff was all doing the clean up-clean up thing (time to go home soon) off in the distance. Someone should be watching a full row at all times imo but can't blame them honestly. Younger lab coat wearer openly discussed customers who were irritating to him. Sat next to a woman who I felt in my deepest gut was tweaking. Her partner came with and he looked like it too. Do they test for meth? Just wondering. It was strange. I'll go back though. And honestly, no problems with the needle going in and the process is painless and easy. I have 2 more times to nab $50.00 and I'll admit it's too tempting to resist. read more

I like donating at the Center, the people are friendly. Scott is great. Brandi and Rachel are the best stickers there. They are both friendly and expert stickers. It can be challenging cause they end up fighting over who gets to stick me. I'm used to hotties fighting over me, I just wasn't expecting it at the plasma center. Anyone who needs money, should take the time to check the place out. Just about anyone should feel comfortable and relaxed while donating, the people working there are some of the best. read more

CSL is a decent place to donate. However, it always takes much longer than you'd expect to get through the line and get to your donation. First time donors often get a special payment rate so it is good to call to find out if CSL or Octapharma is paying better. You are paid on a visa card but there are quite a few fees, so you have to be strategic about getting the funds off the card to use. You are paid immediately, but it is going to be probably another trip to Rosauers to use their cash back feature to get your funds. Giving plasma is pretty boring, but they have Wifi, and the facilities are clean and brightly lit. Make sure to be well hydrated and well fed in the days leading up to donation. read more
