The folks at the Cataldo Vitalant are very friendly and attentive, I've been there several times now and have always had a good experience.

So I tried the place out in the Valley and they were 100% better! I would 100% recommend this CSL Plasma to anyone wanting to donate!

The location in Spokane Valley is rough. I have donated with CSL many times, and after moving I…read morechanged my preferred clinic. Today, April second, 2026, a little after 8:00 A.M., I went in to donate for the first time at the Spokane Valley location, and they were very rude, we ended up walking out because of the way we were being treated. It was an older lady with a terrible pixie cut, an older man (I believe) with ratty long hair that we could hardly understand, and an another older lady with long hair, and a terrifying amount of makeup. We all sped through the video because we had all watched it before, (put it in 1.5 speed...), and then they were very rude when explaining that you have to watch it at normal speed. We were trying to expedite the process, we didn't argue, we didn't make a fuss, I didn't have a problem rewatching it. The approach of how we asked to rewatch was actually "You need to watch the video" Over and over and over instead of answering questions about two out of the three of us were returning donors. They interrupted us trying to watch the video MULTIPLE times after this, asked us why we didn't want to watch the video (We literally were) essentially began to babysit us. My last straw was after genuinely reading the info binder they gave you, the terrible pixie cut lady very aggressively told us to come get our binders and read them. The only person who answered our questions without being standoffish was the freaking security guard. (He didn't get called on us by any means, he happened to be standing there when 2 of us were looking for next steps) So on top of them being rude as hell to us, they also didn't even help us very much, and the security guard was able do more of their job than they were. I hope someone from management sees this because I would LOVE to have a little chat. There is no excuse for this behavior in a healthcare setting, and I would know, I'm a licensed phlebotomist who got proper training in class and common hospitality in life. Maybe take a note? (You guys blow...)

The nan is a cretin, no social skills, bo communication on our questions and no discussion of what we were there for actually. I was referred there, Sypherd was my Dr. What happened in that office was obscene. Absolutely, no communication, no social skills at all. Literally, open your pants to examine penis and testicles, no idea why. Then a cursory bend over order on the table. He didnt ask if my wife wanted to step outside or anything. Evidently I was to tall for him and he didnt think of his stool, but he told me to bend my knees....so as I begin to do that, he uses his knee to hit the back of my knees causing me to drop down, while at the same time, he forcibly went up with the rectal exam, it was extremely painful and when he finished, he just dropped a moist towelettes on the table to clean up with. My wife was horrified, I was embarrassed and this Doc then told me I needed a biopsy and walked out. I asked to see another doc. .however they do not allow that, in fact i was told that i could see Dr. Nelson, but he wouldn't treat me, he would just answer any questions and then refer me out of network! In the end, I had my GP refer me to Spokane Urology. OMG, what a difference on everything, from the office staff, the nurses and Dr. Lance! I cannot say enough good about him. It was like night and day. Please go to Spokane Urology, you will not regret it at all!

I chose to use Incyte Diagnostics in Post Falls, ID within NW Specialty Hospital on 12/27/24 at my…read moreNW Dr's recommendation. This was to be a simple blood draw after 12-hours of fasting. This became a horrific event of gross incompetence. Having worked 3.5 years at a Michigan Blood Bank, I was well aware of the need to hydrate and did drink 32 oz of water with-in the hour prior. I arrived at 8:30 AM and only 2 patients were seated in the lobby ahead of me. I stood in front of the receptionist, who totally ignored my presence, for quite a while until another patient pointed out a kiosk. At 73 yrs old, technology is not your friend, but I stumbled through it. The receptionist continued to ignore me, she was NOT on the phone or in a conversation. When I was finally taken back by the phlebotomist, I described and showed her where, on my right arm, most people have had the best luck finding a good vein. I don't enjoy being stuck twice and this help almost always leads to getting a good stick the first time. Bottom line... I was stuck 10 times (3 on the inside of each elbow, and 2 on each hand), performed by 3 phlebotomists including the robot receptionist. I told them, I'm done!!! Then asked for their suggestions of 'next steps'. They offered nothing. I asked if they would do an ultrasound guided venipuncture. They stated they had never heard of such thing. I have left a message with my NW Dr... I would think most people, like myself, seeing you are within the walls of NW Hospital, assume you are NW employees. That should concern NW Specialty Hospital.
