Csilla's store is awesome. I discovered her store because my daughter interned here. I can tell you that my daughter learned so much about her degree here. If you want the opportunity to actually be allowed to practice your craft, you will be able to do it with Csilla. My daughter's sewing was honed. Her cutting and pattern making also improved. She sold clothes to walk in customers. This is a great internship if you want to get a behind the scene look at running a small business. I'm sorry the other intern had a negative experience but it was a great experience for my daughter. I would definitely shop here too. The clothes are cut to fit a woman's body and make it look good. Csilla's style is sexy, hip, and classy. And this is a locally owned business. Csilla's designs have become an icon on Congress. Her nonchalant mannequins stand outfitted on the downtown sidewalk with unique and high quality, hand crafted designs throughout each season. She makes summer dresses and maxi skirts with a beautiful swing to them. The store hosts hand made styles for work wear and jewelry by local artists. Csilla definitely knows how to run a fashion business - every year she does a classy collection of holiday party/cocktail styles. She's pretty much non-stop shop, with new styles coming out all year round from Csilla's own design label. There are sales if you just want to come in and pick something up. The materials and cuts are very flattering, and the staff will help you pick out a good fit for your shape. I'm a huge fan of comfort but I'm not trying to look frumpy - you can dress many of these styles up with heels, or down with a pair of summer sandals. They also host some fashion events and really good live music there, which is pretty unique. Csilla is a down tempo Austin original! A must for locals and visitors alike. read more

Recently​, I ​walked in Csilla's store and I am now hooked. The customer service is great. Lena and Jayne helped me choose a pair of earrings for my friend.​ ​ I also bought two dresses​ ​made by Csilla. One of them has a print wrap that looks quite different than the dress design. The design​ was intentionally chosen to combine two patterns. I asked Csilla if I could exchange the wrap with another with matching colors. She said "Would you like a belt that matches the dress? Sure, no problem we could do that. Let me know when we could expect you in the boutique and we can have that made." After choosing the fabric, Csilla made the wrap ​​for no charge​ ​in only two days. How great is that? I recommend the store for the quality and great customer service. read more

I love this shop, and its owner. I've been shopping at Csilla Wear for over a year now, and I LOVE everything I've purchased there--dresses, tops, silk scarfs, and jewelry made by local Austin artists. Every time I wear something from her store, I get complimented on it, the pieces are very unique. I've also gotten a lot of gifts for friends--most of the jewelry there is ~$20 - $80, I think. All of the clothing is designed by Csilla, the store owner, and all of her pieces are handmade. Csilla is usually in the store when I visit, and she and her staff are always really sweet.
