Also, they carry a lot of stuff, especially the sort of stuff you would have trouble finding at Best Buy. The owners know what they're talking about and instead of looking through the heaps of electronics scattered throughout, just ask them for what you want. They'll either order it at a great price or whip it out. For defective items that you can't find a technician that will touch it, they have no fear. Just bring it in and they will fix it, I assure you, at a great price. Again, very odd and eccentric, but of the highest quality in all regards.

When I brought it back to have a clean and appropriately thick backing put on, the gentleman in charge was nasty and refused to provide a receipt. When I picked it up a few days later, the man pointed out that he had put "bumpers" on the corners (theoretically to protect the wall) and told me this was above and beyond what he normally does. I pointed out that he'd only put the bumpers on three of the four corners. He then dug around a drawer and tossed me a fourth. Whole experience was not only unpleasant but left me with a poorly framed picture that was meant to be an anniversary gift.

I thought to myself, I'm gonna come back. And I did. And I do. Whatever your shipping needs, they've got it covered. They're smart, and quick, and helpful. You're dealing with the same guys every time, instead of a different manager every week (let alone employee) because working for Fed Ex is probably awful. So now I go past the Fed Ex shop on my corner, and walk an extra 10 minutes because I'd rather deal with nice, efficient, actual people that don't seem to hate me. Sure, there's a wait sometimes because this is Brooklyn, and I'm not the only person in the neighborhood that's figured out (A) Brooklyn Postal Center is a good spot and (B) shopping local is better for everyone. But the line moves quick, and even the people waiting with you are nicer over here.

She was also able to give me some advice on which new film to buy. I chose standard developing time and before 24 hours, I got an email saying my film was ready. It occurred to me that I also wanted digital scans, so I called them and was able to purchase a scan through a link and received the scans later that day. I love the seamless online technology for my analog ways. They saved me an extra in-person visit and I appreciate that. Would definitely use their services again!

I told the worker the minimum size I needed the scans for printing and she assured me it was correct. I got the scans back and they are some of the worst quality scans I've ever encountered. There were scratches, marks, and the color correction was horrible. The whites were green. They are not large enough in size to print at what I needed. They also shipped my film back to me unsleeved and charged me a "non sleeve" fee per roll. The film negatives have scratches from being shipped raw in a card board box. I should've stuck with my regular film lab, but was trying to save a few bucks. Not worth it. I would not use for any professional job.

Finally, I got a blind choice, no matter the color will match or not, my friend has to agree with it. The store also matches the price on the website and prepared the paint to be pick up. After I brought the paint to my friend apt, we painted even color didn't match but she is very happy and satisfy with the quality of the paint. She actually likes the new color better.
