During the…read moreappointment, the technician started a set of nails that did not match the design I had requested. After reviewing the results, I expressed my dissatisfaction and explained that the acrylic used was not what I had asked for. I let him know before the polish and shaping even started. Because I was unhappy with the outcome, I requested that the nails be soaked off, as I did not wish to pay for a service that did not meet my request. However, my request was declined. As we attempted to address the issue, the situation became increasingly tense and difficult to resolve. The disagreement eventually escalated to the point that the police were called, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Despite my concerns about the quality of the service and the final result, I was ultimately required to pay for the nail set. While I understand that misunderstandings can happen, I had hoped for a resolution that would address my concerns. Based on this experience, I was not satisfied with the service provided and cannot recommend this salon.

Sure, they don't have the typical massage chairs you'd expect at a nail salon but this place is totally not your typical nail spot. This Latinx biz is full of life from the moment you walk in until you leave. Expect an energetic experience celebrating life, just because. You can get some complimentary drinks like coffee, tea or water and order yourself a nice glass of wine or champagne at the bar. Don't worry, you don't have to even get up, it comes to you! The girls that work here are so kind and sweet and VERY thorough with their services. We got 3 last minute pedicures on a Saturday evening right before closing and the owner was so accommodating to squeeze us in. It wasn't rushed, they took their time and went IN on the cuticles, massages, scrubs and all. Even my husband's pedicure wasn't just a quick 20 minute, she took her time and thoroughly worked on his feet. We all needed it! One of my favorite parts about the experience here is being able to get seated in the pedicure bowls right away and picking polish straight from your chair without having to stare at a wall of colors for 15 minutes to try to pick and choose. This was so convenient and makes everything less stressful and easy. Thank you all for your hospitality and incredible pedicures and thanks to Yelp for helping us find a place like this while visiting this area.

I recently came across a TikTok of a service provider who works independently and I liked the style of the manicure and wanted to see how much Chic Nail charged for it, the young lady who answered said for full set it is X price. So to clarify as I am not always sure about lingo I clarified it would be on my natural nail. Omg her condescending tone and that drag of her words were so insulting. Why assume everyone understands the lingo? Wouldn't this be an appropriate time to educate and ensure a trusted and repeat customer understands the service ? When I said to her I just wanted to clarify she was like "okaaaaayyyyyyyy". I have to laugh because like okay girl, that's the attitude you have? I'll go to the independent artist who was so nice and responsive and clear with educating me on the options. I love Taylor and Rose but that was a no no encounter for me. Everyone was very welcoming even the customers had the content look on their faces just a relaxed atmosphere. I sat down for my pedicure and it was luxurious start to finish they even use fresh lemons and oranges for the volcano pedicure which was nice.
