Y&B is AWESOME!…read more Today was my first day going there and I let them know beforehand I had a strict time schedule due to a doctor's appointment an hour later. Despite knowing I was unable to stay for even a whole hour, they didn't hesitate to take me. They worked so fast, but thoroughly and efficiently, to get me out in time, all while teaching me this and that about nail care that I was clueless to. I left so happy (and not late to my appointment) with a beautiful, high-quality full set and pedicure. All this and the prices for everything, fill-ins, waxes, pedis, etc, are fantastic. I have a new go-to nail salon!

My aunt surprised me with a visit and treated me to get my nails done, so, I thought, why not get a full set for once. I read the glowing reviews online and saw Dalyna's name mentioned in each one. i was impressed with her photographed work, so I decided to book with her. She is truly an artist. I went in with a picture from pinterest, i wanted it exactly how it was in the photo and she delivered way above that. She got the nail length perfect, the colors, the nail art. i love the way she did nails more than the photo i brought in! she was quick, but she didn't rush her work. i was incredibly impressed with how she cared for my nail beds, and made sure it looked natural. that has always been my biggest worry with acrylic nails, and what turned me off for a decade. it's very difficult to get them to look natural, she didn't leave it on too thick!! the place itself smelled good, not too much like acetone (this has given me headaches at other salons!) and they offered complimentary mimosas (with the champagne poured with a heavy hand, i might add). The ambiance was chic, the staff friendly and professional. I will be coming back for my refill! i also thought it was endearing that Dalyna's coworkers came by to look at her work while she did my nails, showing appreciation and support for her art.

I started coming to this place because of a lady who not only did great work, but was very sweet and kind to me. Today I had the worst experience I've ever had as customer at any nail salon I've been to. The nail technician, My (is her name), was so rude to me after me expressing my dislike of the nail design I asked her for. I asked if there was something else more simpler would could try she told me "no" and that I "wasted her time" Then she asked "you pay for what if I take it off" I said "money isn't the issue for me I'll pay whatever but this isn't something I like." And showed her another photo of something simpler we could do instead. She agreed. And tried to make me choose the color SHE wanted me to do. I asked if they had other colors for me to choose from she said "no" and I kept asking "what do you mean no?" Then after telling me no 3x that I could not choose the color I wanted to choose from my chrome she then goes to get the chrome color choices I've been asking for and hands them to me. After she hands the to me she immediately tell me to "leave and go somewhere else" I asked "so you don't want to do my nails anymore?" She said "no. If you know someone else somewhere else go to them." I have never in my yearssss of getting my nails done experienced this type of disrespect. Especially as a paying customer who told her that money wasn't an issue and that we could do something simple on my nails that made her feel more comfortable. They have forever lost my business. Customer service is everything.

Based on the screenshot of the services she chose her total should've been $122 including tax. So imagine my frustration when I learn that her total is $137 so I call her while she's still at the salon and ask and she was told those prices online are just starting and basically incorrect. The prices never indicated start at which of it weren't the actual price it should've indicated that and then she said those are the prices for French on a pedicure when that's is also not what she chose and what's indicated. I think the lack of transparency in the pricing is wrong and honestly feel like they took advantage of her. For most businesses the price that you list for your services on your website or booking page should be accurate it is your responsibility as a business owner to make sure it is and not mine as a customer. If something requested is an additional cost then I should be made aware BEFORE the services are provided. I will not allow anyone on my household to return and if asked if I recommend the answer is a resounding NO. I don't mind paying for services but I don't feel like I should overpay because your site doesn't accurately reflect the pricing and making it worse with a poor excuse, being flippant about it and not correcting it. I'm sure me no longer patronizing their business won't make a difference but I hope 1. They adjust the way they do business and 2. This doesn't happen to anyone else. Now I'm more pissed I'm looking at her receipt and she was charged $4 more in her pedicure than the listed price and she asked and they said because her feet are medium sized. I have never heard of this in my many years of living. I am disgusted!

When I sat down I selected the $29.00 option and informed the individual doing my pedi that I'd like French tip which would be an additional $5. No problem. I also decided to get a full set which costs $45.00 - TOTAL $79. As I sat back to relax, I inquired about whether or not wine was served while receiving a pedicure. What I did not expect was the humiliation and shame I would feel the moment the manager responded to my inquiry. I was told verbatim "you don't get wine for $29 pedicure...You get wine for $40 and up".. I immediately burst into tears and informed this insensitive, inconsiderate, money hungry individual that my grandmother had just passed and THIS was THE ONLY reason I was even getting my nails done at the time. She immediately apologized and informed me that she was joking. What a tactless & unprofessional thing to say to someone who chose YOUR establishment to patronize. I WILL NEVER step foot in this place again, & I am leaving this review days later after burying my grandmother to implore you all that desire to feel cared for while being pampered properly - this IS NOT the place! These individuals do not care!!! Though I did not get her name, the individual that said this to me sits on the right side of the salon in the middle booth.
