I have been to Crystal a few times now - I love how clean and bright it is, they never have a wait, the staff has always been great and it doesn't have that "nail salon" smell to it. This place has become my regular go to! read more

Really amazing! Came with a group of 6 and had such a great experience. So friendly and the nails look amazing!!!!

Their costumer survive sucks and is extremely unprofessional. We bought a gift card LINKED on their website as a gift. They refused my mother in law service. They have little to no explanation to why they won't accept it. We contacted the company linked through their website and they are saying crystal nails is at fault. Crystal nails is saying it's the company's fault. Nobody wants to refund the money and keep pointing fingers at each other . Crystal nails should value their costumers and refund us and figure it out because they affiliated themselves through their website. They have lost our business and I do NOT recommend. If they don't want people to buy the gift cards online they need to take it off their website. That is not the customers fault. read more

The staff are very kind and I enjoyed my experience at their salon. The issues I had are with their product. I had a gel mani pedi at 4:00ish on a Wednesday and by Wednesday evening one of the nails had pealed off my hand. By Thursday evening 5 nails had pealed off and as of this review 6 of the nails have come off. I am hopeful they will provide a refund. read more

I've only been here one time and I won't be going back. I waited for 30 minutes before being seen - all they would tell me was they would be right with me and I was next. The manicure didn't include any cuticle work. I got dip polish and within a week it's chipped in multiple places. I've been getting dip for many years at another salon near by, but they were too busy the day I was available, and I've never had this issue before. Awful experience. Won't return. read more

Nothing worse for me than to waste time repeating a service that should have been done right the first time. When I left after a lack luster gel manicure in which the water was cold from the tap, no pushing the cuticles back but literally hacked and pulled my cuticles off, I noticed the top coat made the polish a different color, almost yellow orange. Unusual but whatever except the discoloration didn't cover the entire polish surface leaving streaky ombre like finish. I stopped back a few days later (the soonest I could manage because I work) and showed the receptionist what happened. She could clearly see something wasn't right and made an appointment for me the same day. I drive back later arriving a few minutes early and am seated at a different tech's chair. The new tech was not happy to fix anoth tech's work but it happens sometimes. She tells me "no you must wait 45 min for original tech" and she will fix for "free" (I paid the first time, so this isn't free, not to mention my time and inconvienence) I politely said I wasn't interested in the old tech and would prefer to proceed with new tech. I only need 1 coat of color over the yellow whatever it was...maybe 5 min work. Was told again "no that to be "free" I had to wait 45 min for original tech" end of story. I just left...couldn't waste more time on this ratchet experience. F- on customer service with a double FF- for the lack of basic skills. read more

I went here before my SIL's wedding and have been going back since. I have always had a good experience here. My nails last for WEEKS without chipping, peeling up at the sides or cracking. I work as a nurse, so for my nails to last that long, that's impressive! Pricing is comparable to anywhere else in town. I will drive from a different suburb of Columbus just to come to Crystal Nails. read more

I got my nails balanced here for the first time with my friend- I came in to have them taken off and gel put on the owner convinced me he would make them look great and keep them. After a week and a half they were all lifting which is due to poor drilling technique and lack of using the primer polish before you apply the acrylic powder. I came in and explained this and was told I'm due for a balance anyway (they should last 2-3 weeks for me at least I have never had to get my nails done 3 times a month until now. He told me he was busy to come back in 6 hours I would have been satisfied ic he just fixed the three nails that were loose. He said he was too busy I needed to make an apt and come back for a full balance WITH HIM, at full price. I told him there is no way I'm paying him another $70 and it was ridiculous, never swore once. He got irate took off his mask told me I can not talk to him like that and proceeded to get his phone and take pictures of me, I have no idea why. I've never been treated like this. My girlfriends nails look great no lifting she normally is with one of the females that sits by the sink. But they will never have our business again. So unprofessional and the worst job anyone has done on my nails. read more

I love this place, staff is so nice. It's so relaxing and such a great time. Prices are. It that bad. I will continue to go to this location even if I live 30 minutes away. No stress great for me time and the staff is not only nice but very professional. I enjoy coming in. I don't know what the negative reviews on here were about, but sometimes you just have to try it yourself. I get pedicures here love it. read more

Do not go here. I got toe fungus from this place. I will start by saying customer service wise, the people here are very nice. Now I will get to the facts. They do not use top coats of polish on the pedicures. I didn't realize that his until I got home and my dried nails looked dull. That is not all. My polish lasted on my toe nails. But when I took off my polish I had what looked like chipped up toe nails. And white spots underneath. I thought maybe she filed my nails down too far. After a few months of no change I went to my podiatrist and he informed me that it was in fact TOE FUNGUS! This place moves around and calls itself having new re-openings and tries to rebrand itself. But the facts are that they don't use clean tools. You do not want to go here no matter what they call themselves or where they move to. read more

I am moving my original review of Nail Studio to this place because they moved across the street and changed their name, but it's the same place: I went here for a full pink and white set, not even 2 weeks ago. I usually go 3 weeks in between balances when I am getting nails done. A week in, they starting lifting from the back, giving a HUGE POTENTIAL for fungus. I told them I wanted them to take them off no charge, as I don't want a fungus to grow. She said 20.00 to remove them and offered to balance them. Not on your life would I let these people touch my nails ever again. She claimed they needed balanced, but a balance is when they grow out, not lift from the back. I haven't ever had this happen. Go to La Vie nails by Jommy Johns. I showed them my nails. They couldn't believe this was a new set and didn't charge me to take them off. They just earned my business. It's just as close and their quality is much better (I know people who have been going there for awhile) SAVE YOUR MONEY FROM Crystal Nail Spa. read more

I have been going to Crystal nail spa for years, and I've never had a bad experience! I've had all the services from, gel manicures, acrylics, to pedicures and brow waxes and I have never left upset. They've always been able to take me same day and I always feel like I've been in-and-out, and not made to be there for hours. I have always felt that the prices weren't bad either since I've had worse service elsewhere. You get the feel of a luxurious spa with very reasonable prices. read more

I really wanted to love my experience. I really did. The salon was clean and inviting, and they were nice when I walked in and asked if I could come back in 30 minutes which I appreciated. They treated that like an appointment so when I returned I was taken right away. I was visiting for a pedi and a mani. They have several options for each and the prices were fair. They use a liner for the tub which is a must. I asked that my big toenails be left a little long because they are starting to get ingrown. I also asked that they would be cut straight across. He cut them shorter than I wanted and they are rounded. I pray I don't have any problems when they grow. Otherwise it was a nice pedi, but I'm not happy with my big toenails. I just wanted a simple mani with no color. I have short nails and they break and peel so I just like them shapes and cuticles trimmed. I'm always treated oddly when I get a mani with no polish. I don't think my guy does a lot of manicures because he cut me several times and my nails are filed all ragged. Maybe it's my nails because they are thin but they are ragged. And my one cuticle is bleeding pretty bad and it's been an hour since I was there. I don't get my nails done often and I'm not sure I'd be back. Like I said initially, I really wanted to like this nail salon. Because they were so nice and the place was clean and used tub liners I might give another chance. But I will be more clear about how I want my toenails trimmed. read more

I hate to write this but I feel that I must write in as a cautionary tale to future customers. A few days ago I removed my acrylics due to a few of them coming off on their own already and, to my surprise, many of my real nail beds were tinted green. I had gotten my full set during the height of high school homecoming season and I can only assume that bacteria from the many customers had tainted the supplies used throughout the week. Bacteria such as this is only able to permeate spread when propper disinfecting of the tools is not carried out in between each customer serviced. I have mixed feelings about this situation because I know how difficult it is to maintain a steady flow of business during these peak times, however, sometimes it is very worth it to make customers wait a while longer for a better and healthier result. For this reason, I will not be going back to this salon again and would advise future customers to request to watch the tools be disinfected before they are used on them. Sure, it seems a little bossy, but sometimes being a stickler is worthwhile. read more

Always give me exactly what I ask for and are super friendly! Out of all the nail salons I've tried this is the inky one I've continued to go back to regularly. I've had multiple technicians and love them all! read more

Amazing experience every time I go in for my nails or waxing! The technicians & owner are very talented, incredible sweet, always quick! Even better it's super affordable! Best nail salon in Westerville! read more

I initially asked for a refund. As it was explained to me, this was not an option as it is against their policy. The manager did allow me to have my nails re-done at no charge to me, but no refund was given. Had I gotten my money back, I would have given this place another chance. Although the job done today was far better than the other two manicures I received, I doubt I'll return. It wasn't worth the hassle nor the looks and attitude I was given for being an unsatisfied brand new customer. read more

I will not be returning. I came in for a balance with gel polish on Friday. I am now back on Tuesday because one of my nails broke which is fine it's a common occurrence with acrylics. So as I'm sitting waiting they take another lady before me even though I signed in before her I know different nail techs do different services but the same tech working on her, fixed my nail afterwards. That Was my first frustration, the second was when I kept telling the nail tech he was hurting me and he just looked at me kept going all while grabbing my hand tighter so I would stop flinching. Finally I said please stop I'll just take it off myself, I looked and my fingernail is now split and bleeding from where he was shoving the plastic in between the acrylic and my nail. I said look I'm bleeding now he says oh no that's from your nail cracking... first of all I didn't even realize my nail has broken until I looked at my hand, I didn't feel it, it didn't hurt. Alll in all I'm disappointed and will not be returning read more

My first time will most likely be the last. The man who did my manicure was in a rush, the polish is very uneven, and several of my cuticles were bleeding because he was rushing so much. I brought it up to him and he didn't seem to care. read more

Completely rude and very unprofessional when it comes to time management! Don't make an appointment because it never follows through. I went 3 times now with an appointment and they have told me to come back 2 hours later! They have no respect for others time and they were rude the whole time doing their job but had no problem getting paid that's for sure! read more

This was my first visit to Crystal Nail Spa and I will be back. Awesome gel manicure and polish change. The salon is new and clean. Everyone was super nice. read more

I would give a negative rating if possible! This place is horrible. I went in to get a gel mani and with in 3 Days the polish was all lifting and peeling. I went back in and they told me to come back the following day to fix them. They kept asking and questioning when I was in and wanting my receipt. I printed off my credit card statement to show them when I returned yet the entire time they still questioned me the entire time. They were extremely rude I will never return. I have no idea how they got Calvin to come work there! It's the only thing that will save them! read more
