Always friendly service from Jimmy. His seamstress also does good work. Repairs and alterations are well done. Keep it up!

Have been using them for a number of years to tailor clothes, including kids suits, and have had nothing but positive interactions. Great cleaner! read more

Trying to be a succinct and specific as much as possible, I wanted to describe my most recent experience with [AURORA HILLS] Crystal Cleaners; I've had one pair of jogger pants adjusted there, and also hemmed an Amazing American pair of jeans at a moderate, fair price. But this week I had brought in two pairs of pants, one "ANN TAYLOR Loft" sparkling and glittering gold that needed a liner, and the other pair was to alter (a larger maroon/burgundy denim) my jeans made by my uncle in the P.I. Then I was really pissed off and agitated because one owner named Jimmy said that I never came in the Alterations/DryCleaning shop to service my pants. But the unusual thing is, have I just spent my $$60 before they did any work on it, and really did this business intend to just "stealthily" borrow and keep** my personal effects?! Annaline is unsure how to cope right now... read more

I went in to get my dress hemmed and I had a pretty big timeline to get it done. I was told one week and when I came back there was some adjustments that needed to be made so I'm glad I gave myself plenty of time. After a week and a half, I got the alterations I wanted. I was charged $97 for a dress hem and addition of a clasp for a wrap dress. read more

I wish I had looked at Yelp before I dropped off my clothes at this cleaner. I dropped off 10 shirts over the weekend. I was about to pick them up today, but they all had small stains on them that I didn't make!! I showed the lady the stains and she started to get frustrated at me because they had to clean them again. Then she started to accuse me that I dropped them off with these stains. That's when I got mad and began arguing with her. Unfortunately, she spoke very limited English, so that was a futile argument since she didn't understand what I was saying. To say the least, this will be my last time at this cleaner. read more

I logged in to see the current operating hours - they are trying to recover from the pandemic shutdown (as we all are) and in my opinion the team that operates Crystal is doing a great job! They are not yet open full-time (hopefully soon), but my clothes came back as promised, at a great price, and with a cheerful attitude from the staff. I'm new to the area and am glad the local businesses are working hard to make a comeback! Excellent customer service, and they did a fabulous job on my work uniforms. I see on Yelp a few older good and bad reviews, so I decided to make a quick report to say CC does great work! I will be back! read more

I don't know what others experienced from this place, but I've been going here for 9 months and it has been superb every visit. Like the other reviewers, the ladies at the desk, don't really speak English all that well. However, they speak minimum and understand what you want and what needs to be done with your clothes. At one time, I brought 14 shirts and asked them to be boxed. The boxes usually cost 25 cents more but since I come here frequently the lady disregarded the box charge -- great service! They also get work done very quickly. I stopped by Friday morning to drop my shirts and pants and was able to pick up the very next day. Now, they asked me whether I needed it on same day, so if you're in EMERGENCY, they will get it done for you. I don't know about extra charge for expedite service. I know people complain about services from this place, but consider this. When you drop off your shirts, try to unbutton your shirts. I had a friend working for cleaner back in high school and was extremely annoyed by people who just drop off with shirts all buttoned like it was a tshirt. They hate these lazy people. If it's small charge, try paying cash. I know we all carry plastics but cash is important for small businesses and they may hook you up on your next visit because you're being good customer to them. I'll be continue to go here until they screw up. I bring some expensive shirts and don't want them to ruin them. So far, so good for me. read more

I was very impressed with Crystal Cleaners. I brought 8 shirts in here for major alterations, thinking that it was Fashion Center Alterations (my mistake), but didn't realize the error until logging onto Yelp for this review. English was a bit of a challenge, but the alterations lady knows what she's doing. In any case, they did a superb job with the alterations; each of my shirts now fits perfectly from top to bottom, and the quality of the workmanship shows a very professional attention to detail. The shirts all had the same problem: cut like maternity clothing. What is it with off the rack dress shirts? Who on Earth has a 14.5 inch neck and a 46 inch waist? $18 each including alteration, cleaning & pressing. I will return here. read more

If you want your clothes back in one piece and prefer to see them the same way that you left them -- DO NOT GO HERE. They have lost several shirts, ruined a suit and destroyed a jacket. The desk help barely speaks English and when they shrunk a blouse my wife dropped off they blamed it on her. STAY FAR AWAY!!! read more

I must be very lucky. I have gone here for over two years now and have never had an issue with the quality of service or with staff. I generally drop dress shirts off in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon. I inspect the shirts before leaving and have never had an issue. But I must say, the two other Yelp reviews do have me a bit suspicious now. read more

Very easy to deal with. There is never a line at the counter and the staff always grabs your clothes quickly. Prices seem reasonable. Dry cleaning always comes back crisp and fresh. I'll be taking a pair of pants to be altered soon, so I'll report back on how that goes. read more

Location is convenient, they are always on-time, friendly and very detailed when I bring in items for dry cleaning. My clothes always come back looking like new! Also I'm small waisted and short so I always have to get my parts and skirt suits tailored...seamstress has amazing skills! I've been going to them for years and have always been satisfied with my experience with Crystal City Cleaners. Also there is temporary parking in back if street parking is unavailable. read more

I've called several places to ask if they will do monogramming of men's dress shirts (on the sleeve cuff). This place said yes! They will charge $15 - $20 per monogram, and you can negotiate the price if you're providing several shirts. Unfortunately, when I got the shirts back, the letters were double the size they should be. CC offered to re-do the monogramming, and in two days I got the shirts back, but the cuffs looked a bit ratty from the original monogram stitching being ripped out. CC then offered to clean/press the shirts for no additional charge, one day service. In summary, I like CC because they "made it right" when they made an error. I'll go back to them and recommend them because of this good customer service. read more

I have had no problems with dry cleaning here. But the tailoring for my suit pants was definitely sub-par. All you dudes...Go somewhere else for tailoring!!!! I had to bring my pants to another tailor to get them fixed. You've been warned! read more

They ruined my shirts that were brand new - they left oil stains on my blue shirts They also don't speak English very well if at all. If you don't want your clothes ruined don't take it here and they left wrinkles in my shirts after their machine ironed it . Oh and they broke the zipper on my new jacket as well - after I took it there and pulled off the plastic - the zipper was missing . Stay away . THey are rude and offensive and not helpful. read more

I've used several dry cleaners in Arlington, and have been going to this one since about January because they do a great job at a very reasonable price. We've also had alterations done, which they also did a great job at a good price. It's easy to get to if you live in Aurora Highlands or Crystal City and they're so kind. The women who've assisted me were always helpful in loading clothes into my stroller so I can walk home without wrinkling my clothes. We recently moved from Virginia and I'll miss their great service! read more

I've been doing business for several years with Crystal cleaners and found them to be quite good until they set of jacket out to their alteration people. I requested the sleeves be lengthened by 1 inch. They shorten them by 1 inch. When I complain, and they said it back, they alteration people again shorten them another inch. It's been sent back twice now, and Crystal cleaners has not made good on the prepay that I made. They still have my jacket. read more

I sent some clothes for both dry cleaning and altering. When I got them back, I didn't check immediately because they were out of season. Now the summer is back and I reached back to those clothes, and I noticed that none of them were touched. The dirty spots were still there, the clothes that needed to be altered were not touched at all. Funny that all of them had been tagged and had been covered with those plastic covers, which suggested you that they have been taken care of. Lesson should be taken from this is that ALWAYS CHECK YOUR SENT TO DRY-CLEANED (or altered) CLOTHES once you pick them up. read more

They are great! I have been coming here for several years and they do a great job with dry cleaning and alterations!

Good location and they do hems and dry cleaning for a pretty decent price. I'm a simple guy and if I have crazy alterations I go to a tailor but this will get most of my needs met. read more

Horrible; to the point I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I gave them my bag to fix the straps and they've done a horrible job-the strap holders are cracking and breaking. I'll have to take it elsewhere and when you ask for a refund, they won't give it. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! HORRIBLE PLACE read more

friendly korean fam owned business. best to drop off dry cleaning in the early morning. read more

This is a nice place with good service and decent prices. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable

I plan to do some alterations on a fair number of pieces of clothing, but wanted to make sure that whoever I brought the work to could at least do a couple of simply fixes. So I brought in a couple of pairs of pants on a Monday. One needed a hem stitch and the other needed a new hook for the waist. The receipt said my pants would be ready after 5pm on Friday, but I picked them up a couple of days later (no rush). The hook was replaced well enough, but the hem was crooked and the stitching quite visible from the outside of the pant leg. This place didn't pass my test, so my search for someone to do my alterations continues. read more

They did a perfect job on my clothes. I had a blazer with white paint all over it and they managed to get all of it out. I dropped off my 5 pieces of clothing on a Monday morning and was told they wouldn't be ready until Tuesday afternoon. I called on Monday afternoon to see if the clothes were ready and they were. There were no wrinkles and every article of clothing looked and smelled fresh. read more

I really wanted to like this place because it's near my job. However, I brought a standard peacoat to be dry cleaned and was disappointed. It looked as if they just tossed it in a washing machine. I was charged $20.00 for a coat that will have to be taken elsewhere now. I don't intend to ever go back. read more

I got my dresses altered and they fit perfectly!! The alterations lady did an awesome job. one of the dresses even had a missing button and they got it done for free. And my clumsy husband's shirts always come out clean and fresh. I never had any problem communicating with them. I will be continue to go here. read more

brought in a blouse to be drycleaned and treated for a stain. and three pairs of slacks with intent of having them brought in and pressed. ladies, be sure to bring the shoes you plan on wearing with the pants otherwise you'll have to come back. i usually wear 3 inch heels with my dress pants so the lady who works there didn't think two pairs didn't need anything taken in. which was fine because my only cost for those was just to have it pressed. however one pair was really too long and that cost $12. i turned it in on thurs and it was ready after 5pm on Mon. total cost for the pants and blouse was $27 with tax. i was happy with the service i received, and i think the price was reasonable in that it was at crystal city. read more

I've been taking my dry cleaning here almost weekly since late '05 or early '06. No real complaints, though I wish they were open on Sunday. Otherwise they're price competitive, friendly, and provide good service. Parking in Crystal City can be a pain, but there's ample free parking on the weekend. read more

I have had exceptional service here. Everyone that works there are friendly, caring and professional. Do yourself and your clothes a favor and support this business!!! read more

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. I gave them several items that came back with colors that ran from one part of the item to another (they use cheap solvents I guess), most stains were still there. They ruined a custom made large cushion and insisted that I pay although all I could with it is trash it. I said they should have called and told me they couldn't clean it (they take your phone number when you drop off items), the rude manager said "we don't have time for that, we're busy here". I wish I had read other reviews before I went there. NEVER USE THEM! read more

Very disappointed. They tore the metal clip off the waisteband of a suit and became rude and hostile when I asked them to repair the damage. Accidents happen, but rude and careless behavior is unacceptable. read more
