Plain and simple, they do a great job. They are incredibly inconvenient for me to get to, but there are the closest cleaners who do a good job, so I try to stretch the time between visits and add more clothes to a trip. Just moved to north Alexandria from Pentagon City. Brought business clothes and a "woobie" blanket which is my cat's best friend. I am always mortified bringing "woobie" in to be cleaned. It is a luxurious blanket, but there is sufficient cat hair on it to frighten someone. Picked up my cleaning, took "woobie" out of the bag. Spotless and smelled great. I almost passed out from shock. We have been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. Nothing lost, nothing ruined, nothing late. Mostly get shirts done (I think $1.65). Had some pants hemmed. My wife had some dresses altered. They get stains out of silk ties and silk dresses just fine. Extremely friendly and almost always remember my name and get my stuff before I ask. I think their prices are good, once we find a good place we don't shop around much. As a side note, we were talking "small business" one day and he got all fired up about the new "consumer protection" laws because it allowed the banks to jack up the price of his debit and/or credit card swipes. So now I try to pay in cash all the time. I think it is the right thing to do for a small business. Those guys must be there at least 60 hours a week, if I can save them 50 cents or a dollar each time, I feel a tiny bit better. read more

We have frequented a few times now. Overall, very good service. Responsive staff. A little pricey. One time an ironing line was off a little bit, but that has only happened once. During one visit we filled out our form incorrectly and listed the wrong number of items (clearly our fault). They called about 5 minutes after we left to explain what they thought had happened. I really appreciated that they addressed the issue proactively while it was fresh in everyone's memory, rather than wait for us to return. As another reviewer noted, I always try to pay in cash for small businesses like this. Both because of the fees the business, and because of the relative security of whatever antiquated system they are likely using. read more

Honest brokers and good people. Sure there are cheaper places in this area---but by no means are they running a racket here. I like that they always call to confirm any alterations that I've asked to be made (i.e. I asked for one button to be replaced, but in starting to repair the jacket, the woman called me to inform me that the other buttons were cracked too and wanted to see if I wanted them all replaced), they do a great job cleaning my clothing, and they are honest: I left my security badge in my coat pocket and they called me first thing the next morning to let me know and to tell me they put it aside in the shop for me to pick up at my convenience. If you don't have the right dry cleaners in Old Town - you do now! I never write on YELP but always read the reviews. I decided to this time because when someone does a GREAT job they should be rewarded! I am a retired officers military wife and have lived in more than 12 cities collectively. When moving to the DC area I tried 5 different cleaners and was not happy. Since I have been using All Cleaners for 4 years I am convinced they are the best cleaners in Old Town. They not only have skillful solutions to removing stains, cleaning down comforters and tailoring perfect alterations but also do it with a SMILE. This is a business owned by a couple that love people and love their jobs. I will always be a patron of All Cleaners and I am so grateful for having found them! read more

The cleaning I have had done here was good. My problem with them is their alterations. First, I took in a long dress and they told me it would be $50 just to hem. It did have a lining, but that was just ridiculous. I told her "no thanks" and went somewhere more reasonable. But when I had an unlined bridesmaids dress to get hemmed, I decided to go back. It's just around the corner from my work, so I figured "why not?" I think the hemming was $25, which I still think it stupidly expensive for an unlined knee-length dress. But I wanted to slap the woman working there when she told me that she had resewn one of the string tabs on the bodice that holds the sash in place. First of all, I knew it was unattached--it actually arrived to me like that (which is REALLY annoying when you pay $250 for a dress). But I did NOT ask her to do this, and she charged me an extra $5 for it. If I didn't ask you to do something, and it's a task that involves a single stitch, don't expect me to come back when you charge me for it. I know it's only $5, but it really rubbed the the wrong way. I told her that I hadn't asked for it to be done, but she didn't budge about the price. So I paid and resolved not to get alterations done there. I'm sure I'll go back for dry cleaning from time to time, I've just decided I prefer to use someone else for alterations from now on. read more

This is the best dry cleaners I have ever used. The Koreans that own the cleaners are friendly, dependable, and willing to tackle almost anything. I have taken suits and shirts for cleaning and mending, shoes for stretching and resoling, han boks (the traditional Korean ceremonial dress for men and women) to be cleaned and stored, Turkish rugs to be steamed, and leather bags to be cleaned. I have not been disappointed with anything. They are conveniently located next to a neighborhood food and wine shop just off the GW Parkway, so you can also get a solid cup of morning coffee when you drop off your items. I just don't understand why people are impressed with this store. The responsiveness of the staff is okay. The store is small and cramped. Water regularly flows from the side doors. Is this a problem with anyone? The prices are similar to other cleaners. I had my pants waistband repaired. The work was satisfactory for $12.00. The shirts were cleaned with light starch. When I can still see wrinkles after the cleaning...we have a problem. Don't bother with visiting this location. You won't see me there again. read more

Best cleaners I've used in DC area! I used to walk to the cleaner from my house, but now I need to drive -- handy when going to buzz or Rustico (why would you go to Rustico? Oh, the beer). Friendly, hard working Korean family runs this neighborhood shop. They always make sure that everything is done to your satisfaction. The shop is frequented by the locals of "North East" on Michigan Ave and surrounding area. They also do alterations quite well. You will find cheaper cleaners but we still go here after moving further away. read more

Dependable, hardworking Korean couple run this place. You can bring your shoes in for re-soles and other repair as well. They will also take in small rugs and large blankets. We have never had a problem with them. They are a welcome part of the neighborhood! read more

Finding a good local dry cleaner could be like the quest for the holy grail, fountain of youth, streets of gold, etc. All Cleaner is luckily the HG of dry cleaners in the south arlington/north alexandria area. I dropped off a really dirty/stained set of couch covers and they got them looking lovely again...and for a reasonable price. Will be going back with a load of suits that need attention! read more

I was a little surprised about the statements regarding prices. What I'll say is that for simple dry cleaning services of dress shirts, $1.70 each is hard to beat. They have a stated policy of $10 minimum, but my very first time picking up three shorts ($5.10, tax must be included) they ran my card with no complaints. Maybe other services are more expensive but nothing I would lkely use. I did ask about wash/dry/fold services. $2/lb is steep by comparison ($1 is typical in the area) but all that did was remind me that I can go somewhere else for that service or simply wash more clothes at home! read more

I love this place. The couple that owns it are so friendly, and they always remember who we are. We often don't bring in our paper slips, and even if I'm the one to drop off clothes and then my husband picks them up, the minute one of us walks in the door, they know exactly which clothes to get. I also get alterations done occasionally and have been happy. I don't have a great point of comparison in terms of price with the exception of my wedding dress. That is the only time I shopped around, and they were MUCH cheaper and faster than any of the other places I checked. My last visit particularly impressed me. A friend knocked a full glass of red wine onto my suit jacket- a white and grey checkered jacket with white piping. I was sure it was done for- the wine covered more than a third of the front of my jacket- but I decided to just check and see if they could do anything about it. When I dropped it off, they made no promises and were skeptical about what they could do- but they got it COMPLETELY out! I don't understand the magic of dry-cleaning, but they clearly do. I decided to go here because I was specifically looking to get wine out of a brand new (and expensive) pair of yellow skinny pants. I read the reviews and saw they were able to do it on a guy's suit jacket which was good enough for me. I was wearing a brand new (and expensive) pair of yellow skinny pants for the first time after buying them when a friend spilled an entire glass of red wine all over them. I first tried something called Wine Away which has excellent reviews. I applied and scrubbed and applied and scrubbed, but to no avail. The wine olor was starting to fade but so was the yellow dye in the pants. I explained the situation to the employee (Sam?) and he said he'd do his best and that those treaments (ie. Wine Away) don't work completely at removing stains. I was so shocked and HAPPY when I picked them up and the stain was completely vanished on both legs. And they were a mess! Also, the color looked even! Thank you All Cleaner! I'm definitely coming back with belongings I care about. read more
