I asked for a simple design. I wanted a guy and girl hand making a pinky promise but he ended up putting nails on both hands. He then decided to try to cover it up by adding shading. I came here to get two piercings & lemme tell yah, Riss did NOT disappointment. I was nervous about getting my daith & helix pierced & had a TON of questions. Riss answered them thoroughly & didn't make me feel stupid. She was so knowledgeable & polite when she answered my questions - not to mention she responds so quickly on IG & through texts. I think it's pretty cool that she checks in with her clients here & there to make sure their piercing is healing properly & will give advice or suggestions on what to do if there's any swelling, irritation bumps, or stuff like that. Back again! I knew I wanted to get something done before the end of the year and my sister mentioned that Riss does a "dealers choice" thing where she picks 3 piercings and styles your ear. You lay down, and she does her thing. I gotta say cartilage piercings are NOT for the faint of heart. But no ragrats! I was ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with not only the piercings but also the jewelry. I knew I wanted my ear styled but I'm so indecisive. Letting her do it was one of the best decisions. Extra points cause she let me bitch and moan and even let me take a break haha! I was sore for a few days and the week after was definitely painful BUT following her directions for aftercare, we're three weeks out and the piercings look great. I get all sorts of compliments and now my other ear looks so naked! Will def be coming back for more on this ear and to start the other ear as soon as I'm healed up. I was first introduced to Piercings by Riss last year by an acquaintance and I finally decided to get a conch piercing by Riss just this February. Piercing was super quick, I was in and out within maybe five minutes after I got into the room. I went back to Riss about two weeks ago because my ear got swollen (loop on face mask irritated back of the piercing) and there was also a bump on my piercing (since February when the ball fell out during cleaning and I was struggling to put it back on). She removed the jewelry and replaced it with a longer bar so there's room for the swelling - at no charge! It's been two weeks now and the bump and swelling has gone away. Unprofessional. This is just based on my first time calling in. Called to make an appointment for ear piercing for my girlfriend . Both me and my girl were told that piercer would be available till 8pm (separate phone calls too). Was asked to call at 7:30pm to confirm. If we knew 8pm wasn't likely, we would have called and went elsewhere. When 7:30pm came no one even picked up the phone and we even went to the location around 7:45pm and doors were closed. That's messed up to just bail on us when you said you'll be there till 8pm and to call at 7:30pm, but no answer and shop closed. read more

Let me just start by saying that this is easily a two hour plus commute for me. I went here on the recommendations of a friend and the wife of one of the artists. The first time I went here I got my daughters name with a moon by Louie and of course I loved it! My favorite piece thus far. Well, while there I saw Riss so of course I went to her social media and saw nothing but great reviews. I left and came back on a different day to get the heartilage and double helix. Quite simple, I've had my lobes pierced twice before both with a gun, one of those mall shops. After a few years I felt it was time to go for it again, my wife has had great experiences with Riss twice, and she's ready to go back for more. I walked in and within ten Minutes I was out already. We went ahead and called Cryptic Tattoo and they told us to come on down then and there. Upon arriving the staff was nice and welcoming as we filled out paperwork. We had Louie as our artist. Since it was my friend and I, first experience getting tattoos we were pretty nervous. Louie however calmed me down and talked to me throughout the whole process. Not only was his work quick, his hands were delicate on me for my first experience that I was able to handle the pain of the needle. The price overall was a little higher than I expected but I still think it's reasonable for someone with a lot of talent and who travels all over the world to do this kind of art.
