I originally came in here because I bought a Groupon for massage. I ended up becoming a regular client because I'm an athlete with some major damage sustained from triathlon. Dr. Nadia is awesome. She totally took the time to understand my background and get the right understanding of what treatment I would need based on symptoms, as well as lifestyle. The thing I appreciate the most about this place is that they honor your appointment, and they don't rush you out to make their next client. I have run into this a lot with Chiropractors- they will schedule people 10 minutes apart and rush you through with a couple generic adjustments. Dr. Nadia schedules her patients on a 30 minute cycle, and I get a full 30 minutes of treatment if I need it. She'll start with whatever treatment she deems necessary for the symptoms, then she'll spend a lot of time teaching me things I can do at home to treat myself. The massage therapy here is also the best I've ever had. Now, be aware, this is not calm, relaxing massage. This is real massage, given by a guy who is also a personal trainer. He's very interactive and like Dr. Nadia, wants to understand your background and lifestyle to treat you properly. If you're an athlete, you know what I mean when I say that we have special needs. While a "backrub" is fun and relaxing, Mike will stretch you out, make you do contortions, and make sure you're leaving in a better state than when you came in. Simply put, he's awesome. He's several steps above any other sports massage I have had. I could not have gotten through the Chicago Marathon without the care of Dr. Nadia and Mike. If you're a runner or swimmer, definitely come in and check these guys out. You will not be disappointed!

You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in what they do. The facility itself is extremely clean, modern, and well maintained. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, which makes it easy to relax the second you walk through the door. Everything looks high-quality and organized, and it's obvious they put a lot of effort into creating a premium experience. The cryotherapy session was amazing. It was my first time trying it, and the staff explained the whole process clearly so I knew exactly what to expect. The equipment looked top tier and the whole experience felt safe and professionally handled. Afterward I genuinely felt refreshed, energized, and like my body had hit a reset button. What really stood out to me though was the level of customer service. The team here goes above and beyond to make sure every person has a great experience. They answered all my questions, took their time with me, and made the whole visit feel personalized rather than rushed. If you're thinking about trying cryotherapy or a float spa, I would 100% recommend this place. It's a hidden gem in the area and easily one of the best wellness experiences I've had. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends.

The facility is clean and welcoming. There's plenty of room for several people to be receiving services at the same time. The equipment is state of the art and well-maintained. I have been at TheraCORE as a PT patient as well as receiving therapeutic massages. I was extremely satisfied with the people at TheraCORE as well as the services that I received. They not only provide excellent treatment to you, but they can also support you with merchandise that will help you practice your exercises at home so that you can progress faster. The office staff is also at the top of their game. They are friendly and helpful. Did I mention that they also have a sense of humor? When you walk in you are greeted with a smile and you know that people are happy to be there. Well, the staff is happy to be there. If you are going in for a massage, you are also probably happy to be there. I know I am! However, if you are there for physical therapy, you may feel hesitant and dread going, because you know that the "physical terrorist" will put you through the paces. I have been there. I know exactly what that feeling is like. My experience at TheraCORE is that the physical therapist will guide you along your journey to recovery within a very systematic program. They know what they're doing and you will progress in logical increments according to your level of competence. They are also very good at listening to you and are respectful of your privacy as well as your feelings. They are sensitive to your needs and want to work with you as a partner for your optimal health. Follow TheraCORE on social media. They have posted exercises and suggestions for everyday activities as well as classes, like yoga. They also have promotions throughout the year for products and massages.

I was aware that I have coinsurance, but I have never received a coinsurance bill for chiropractors or other physical therapists. 2. When I attended, the physical therapists were double-booked. Generally there was one therapist per about 3-4 patients. I have been an athlete my entire life so physical therapy is not new to me. This is the first time I have been compelled to get my phone out and play games waiting for the PT to complete working with another patient. 3. I received an itemized bill that has different prices for THE SAME billing code. I called to clarify how I had an outstanding balance given that I was told I would not have to pay anything out of pocket. I also asked why THE SAME billing code has different prices. I was told a manager would call me back. They never did. Rather, I received another letter threatening to send me to collections. I called again today and I was told that whoever was supposed to call me back "did not see a reason to." Clearly they care about money more than their patients. The physical therapists are fine professionals, but whoever is running the admin, billing, and operations should be fired. There are physical therapy clinics on every corner in Illinois. Sometimes 24-48 hour notice is not possible, but to be assessed a fee for trying to keep their staff healthy is really disappointing. Rigid cancelation polices, especially when working with pregnant patients who can have a myriad of issues arise, can result in loss of business. I'll be looking elsewhere to complete my PT. It should also be noted that while sure, most doctors offices have a 24 hour cancellation notice, most places value the health of their clients and their staff enough to waive cancellation fees when someone is calling with unexpected illness. Helpful to know that income is what really matters to this location! The cancellation policy reminders are incessant, but reminders are sent about appointments after you have already passed the 48-hour mark. For all prospective clients - please consider whether you may ever be susceptible to an illness prior to choosing this location for your PT, they are inflexible and have a much higher cancellation fee than any other practice I have visited across the spectrum of all medical facilities.

This review has everything to do with the inept front desk staff who were unwelcoming and disinterested in you as a person - only interested in money (in my case requiring large payments before a service was rendered and insurance was actually submitted). Kathy, who was the front desk receptionist, was non-communicative. Unbeknownst to me she was allergic to my essential oil and ran around the office peering from behind walls like a caged animal every visit. It was extremely uncomfortable - first being attacked for monies before service rendered, then to being treated like a pariah for reasons not explained. All in all, it was a strange and unsettling experience. Severe customer service training is needed with communication techniques thoroughly reviewed.
