On that note, let me tell you that hiring Luis to do our flooring was one of the wisest choices I made in this journey. From the first phone call, Luis has been extraordinarily adept with communication (which to me is huge!)-- he answers phone calls, returns phone calls, always responds to texts messages in a timely manner, and has always been professional and courteous (same goes for his crew). Discussing pricing was easy, and extremely reasonable. He and his crew have always been on time, and have met their timeframe deadlines (I hired them for two jobs thus far). This is not to mention how amazing their work and work ethic are! My general contractor for the bulk of our shop (separate from KR T&S) had made a comment about how in his 20+ years of being in this business has only seen one other company prep (for the floors before placing tile) as thoroughly as them. Luis was always more than willing to lend a hand in anything he could within his capacity--he introduced us to several of his own contacts for other areas of work not pertaining to tile. I was so pleased with my experience with KR T&S, that I went on to hire Luis' referral for another area of work, and I'm so happy I did. Thank you so much Luis, I am beyond happy with our floors, and will contact you for our tile/stone needs from here on out!

I found this company on yelp and was also recommended by some on next door app. The company had excellent ratings and did work for some well known designers. Not going to lie, I was expecting a very steep price. I sent my info on yelp and they responded promptly. They had an option for virtual estimating so I send them some photos, dimensions, and some details. Bereth called me back to ask some follow up questions and then had an estimate ready for me that same day. I was pleasantly surprised with the price but because they never came out to inspect, I was expecting the price to change as we got into it. I contracted them for the job and they scheduled me in. They text me with a confirmation date a week or so out and then text me on that day when they were in their way at the scheduled time they promised. The demo went smooth and their team were professional and left my kitchen clean even though it was demo'd . They scheduled me a week out for the install on the following Friday. We received a calll Thursday with some not so great news but I can confirm, it not their doing and things like that happen. But what I appreciated more was them identifying that there was a slight mismatch in the stone and instead of forcing the install, they called me and told me what they were going to do to make it right. What I thought was going to be a major delay, really was only delayed until Monday. It came out better than we anticipated. They were honest, affordable, professional, clean, and punctual. I would definitely use them again and/or refer them to friends or family.

In my frustration, I hopped onto Yelp and submitted a project request for a fabricator in my area. This turned out to be a HUGE blessing because we received several responses but the one that stood out the most was Greg from GT Stone Works. He quickly responded to my inquiry and was the most pleasant, respectful and incredibly thorough person we spoke with. He was highly knowledgeable about all things countertops and could not only answer all of our questions, but also asked us questions to help us think of things we hadn't thought about. We knew right away that we wanted to work with him and boy, are we so glad we did! Greg walked us through the entire process, was even super patient when we realized midway between his driving to us that we had to postpone the measuring until the sink was installed (we were newbies!), had solid vendors he uses to source the materials, and thoroughly communicated with us throughout the process. We decided to go with quartzite and he even FaceTimed us to make sure we were happy with where he was cutting out the pieces to get us precisely what we envisioned. If you in the market for a countertop, look no further than Greg. He will take care of you every step of the way and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Like any major renovation, there were definitely moments of stress, miscommunication, and unexpected issues along the way. I think people should go into any remodel understanding that no large project is ever completely perfect. What mattered to us was that Israel and his team consistently tried to work through concerns, accommodate requests, and make things right when issues came up. One thing I especially appreciated was the patience from the team during the finishing stage. They were willing to listen, adjust details, and help troubleshoot things. That kind of attitude matters a lot during a renovation because there are always small things that come up after living in the space. In the end, our kitchen turned out beautiful, and you can tell a lot of care and hard work went into it. We're grateful for the effort the team put into our home and appreciate everything they did to bring the project to life.
