Terrible experience with Angel. I hired him to complete my countertops, but the job was never…read morefinished as agreed. During the project, I also had concerns about the quality of the work and felt that corners were being cut. Angel repeatedly promised that he would return to finish the job. Based on those promises, I spent approximately another $1,000 on materials so everything would be ready for him. He never came back. For months, I followed up and gave him multiple opportunities to complete the work. He continued telling me he would return, but never did. After I had already paid him and incurred the additional material costs, he ultimately stopped responding and blocked me. I did not want to leave a negative review and gave him plenty of time to make things right. Unfortunately, after months of being led on, additional money spent, and an unfinished job, I feel other customers should know about my experience. I included screenshots of our communications documenting the repeated promises to return and finish the work.

BEWARE! Do not work with this company!! I lost my house…read morelast January in the Palisades fire and was finally moving my family into a mobile home that needed bathroom tile installed. First, Armik sold me defective tile (it was on closeout so I wasn't expecting it to be perfect) but it was stained and cracked and unusable. But worse than that, he kept over $2,000 of my money for work he never did!! His guys spent only 3 hrs installing a small amount of hardbacker and then abandoned the job. Other workers were there that day and can corroborate. At first Armik denied they left. Then he said they'd come the next day but they never showed up and he wouldn't answer my messages. I finally tracked him down in person at his shop and after yelling at me, claiming everything was my fault and acting like a two year old having a tantrum, he finally ADMITTED that his workers refused to come in for fear of ICE raids and he had no idea when he could install the tile. I was sympathetic to his workers but we were moving into the trailer within days and my kids needed a working shower (which he knew) so I had no choice but to hire someone else. Armik refused to refund over $2,000 of the money I prepaid him for tile install even though they never installed any tile! He claimed he was entitled to keep it for the 3 hrs of hardibacker work!! DISHONEST. STAY FAR AWAY. He will always blame the client and take no responsibility.

On that note, let me tell you that hiring Luis to do our flooring was one of the wisest choices I made in this journey. From the first phone call, Luis has been extraordinarily adept with communication (which to me is huge!)-- he answers phone calls, returns phone calls, always responds to texts messages in a timely manner, and has always been professional and courteous (same goes for his crew). Discussing pricing was easy, and extremely reasonable. He and his crew have always been on time, and have met their timeframe deadlines (I hired them for two jobs thus far). This is not to mention how amazing their work and work ethic are! My general contractor for the bulk of our shop (separate from KR T&S) had made a comment about how in his 20+ years of being in this business has only seen one other company prep (for the floors before placing tile) as thoroughly as them. Luis was always more than willing to lend a hand in anything he could within his capacity--he introduced us to several of his own contacts for other areas of work not pertaining to tile. I was so pleased with my experience with KR T&S, that I went on to hire Luis' referral for another area of work, and I'm so happy I did. Thank you so much Luis, I am beyond happy with our floors, and will contact you for our tile/stone needs from here on out!
