Think Raising Cane's logic in that sense. The difference is execution. I was in search of boba which lead me to Bubbly Food Hall.... The boba took a bit so I wandered around. On then opposite of the hall was a vendor called Crunchick, with free samples. Decided to try one. Took it and walked back to get my boba. The sample was so excellent I got my boba and returned back to shamefully get another sample. I know... thats not nice taking two... but the second sample was even better as I used a different sauce and decided this fried chicken was worth the calories and ordered the OG original crunchick sandwich. This sandwich was huge. Its menu write up say it is to have two fried chicken thighs but I found it to have a bit more. The chicken itself had a creat light crunch to it. The breading was perfect. Not too greasy, either. He said it had a secret sauce (that was like Cane's -but I didnt taste it as I doused it with the white garlic sauce... uh, YUM!). Plus pickle and lettuce were also on it. Delish! The owner takes pride in constructing the perfect sandwich, so it's wrapped nicely and the lettuce is placed so it adds to the presentation. I really liked the owner. Its always a plus that its a locally owned business. It seemed to be the busiest booth is the Bubbly Hall. I hope Crunchick does well as I feel the hall hasn't been embraced by the community, which is weird. Tbo. The hall just has a odd aesthetic, but not a bad one, just a weird use of space. It lacks something. However dont let that deter you as Crunchick will not disappoint you. Parking is free... park on the side closest to the hardware store as that is the side of the hall Crunchick is closest to. Ps: They have fries too... This is located within Bubbly Hall at New Albany. Plenty of seating space within the facility. We got the tenders combo for my son (comes with fries and a drink) and the recommended red sauce on drumsticks. The chicken was cooked nicely and was very crunchy. The chicken was tender and the red sauce was a bit on the sweeter side for me. The tenders were good and I wish I got the white sauce garlic sauce for dipping. I didn't realize that I would have to order that separately. I would try them again, but quite far from my house. read more

Crunchick at Bubbly Hall in New Albany is AWESOME. I've been 3 times, and it's been delicious every time. Service is quick and all the employees are very nice. I am a Basic Betty and always get the tenders or wings. The white garlic sauce is yummy, and the 'new' soy garlic sauce is the perfect mix. This time, I got three tenders and three bone-in wings with fries. My man got the OG chicken sandwich with fries. I know it was great because he devoured it in just a few minutes. The fries were perfectly cooked, with the just right amount of salt, no ketchup needed, at least for me. The food hall seating is great because you can see the other businesses. To either get something else for dessert or to take something home for late dinner or lunch the next day. I will definitely be back, again & again & again. read more

Located in new bubbly food hall with an array of cuisine food choices. There's plenty of parking here and self seatings available, enabling everyone to choose their own food, which is nice. Heard of a new korean fried chicken sandwich addition to columbus and decided to check it out. They sell korean fried chicken with some unique sauces too. Tried the OG chicken sandwich and loved it. The chicken thigh is fried to perfection, crispy and juicy. Then drizzled with their special sauce, which is sweet and creamy, definitely the best sauce i had in a burger! I got the OG Crispy Chicken Sandwich. I love how crunchy the chicken is, but still retain the juiciness of the chicken thighs. Balance well along with some lettuce and pickle. This is another great place with many options inside one building in New Albany. So we tried the OG Crispy Chicken Sandwich. What made this place somewhere I wanted to try was sandwiches are made with chicken thighs. the OG also lettuce, pickles, onion and sweet and sour sauce. This was very good, however I liked the Spicy bacon chicken sandwich better. This sandwich contained cheese, bacon, coleslaw and of course hot sauce. It really was spot on, but extremely messy to eat. I look forward to stopping back in to eat here again, and of course try one of the many other types of food offered in this hall. read more

The staff was so friendly, greeting us as we came past them into the food hall and offering samples of their juicy, tender chicken. They offer several styles, including tenders, wings, drumsticks, and a couple of different sandwich styles, plus crispy fries for their side and several different types of sauces to choose from. The kids meal is 2 tenders with fries and apple juice. We opted to try the OG chicken sandwich meal, which came with fries and a drink. The chicken was hot and tender chicken, and the housemade Crunchick sauce was a good sweet and sour blend. The sandwich was topped with lettuce, pickles, and onions. The fries came out hot and crispy, great texture. The service fast and friendly. So the French fries remind me of fair fries so we are sold. My kids love them I love them we love them! The chicken was crispy and really tender as well. I'm not really a sauce person unless it's BBQ but they have several sauces to choose from and my kids and husband liked them. My daughter likes the spicy chicken sandwich with slaw. The guys working are great and very helpful! Not enough superlatives.... If you've been to a notable Korean Chicken Merchant, this was superior in every way. The sauce is house special and this was the discerning difference. The hot sauce here had great flavor profile to it and a sweetness as opposed to others that are just hot. Lacking flavor to say the least. Not Crunchchick. And the prices were very good. You could say the side portion is small But you get a 4pc. amazing tenders, great sauce a can of soda and a small side for $10.. The guy running it is fantastic, he'll tell you all about the sauce. I do lots of bad reviews, go to this place if you like fried chicken. Or the chicken thigh sandwiches, which I hear are great and haven't yet tried. read more
