    Potato with garlic parmesan

First time trying a Korean Hotdog. This just was not my thing. The gal that took our order was nice and attentive, however she was working by herself so our order took a long time. This place was located in a food court not a free standing restaurant. I was disappointed in the batter? definitely not traditional corn dog batter and the hot dog had no flavor. So basically it was deep fried hash browns over a breaded meat product and the ones we ordered had cheese. I definitely won't try these again, trendy, looks yummy but next time I'll pass.

They were super quick and kind! Says so much a sour a business, especially a new one! The sticky rice was more like moshi inside. It was a different texture, like melted rice? I can't find the words to describe It otherwise. The mozzarella was delicious. It seems like there is a fried breading around It that makes It allllll the deliciousness! They also offer putting potato or sweet potatoes on the outside and they turn into mini fries! So inventive. I loved that part! I would definitely recommend checking It out if you like food on a stick. There were also toppings you could pump and put in a paper plate. So tasty!

Mozzarella/hot dog with sugar, and cheese mustard sauce

CrunChees is a Korean-style hot dog establishment. They were pretty busy when I went so there was a bit of a wait, which is expected, considering they are brand new to the Annapolis Mall venue. I tried the mozzarella/hot dog with sugar and cheese mustard. Once they bring it out, they ask if you want sugar added to it. Also, there are a few different sauces they can add on top: garlic parmesan, ketchup, mustard, honey mustard, cheese mustard, and/or sweet chili. The outside was so crispy, but not greasy. The sugar added a tiny bit of sweetness, which worked surprisingly well for the savory treat. The top half was mozzarella, and the bottom half was the half hot dog. My only wish is that the hot dog that comes with the mozzarella/hot dog was a 100% beef hot dog. Nonetheless, still a really fun and delicious snack! With all of the menu offerings and sauces, there are so many possibilities. I can't wait to try more!

2dogs with cheddar. One ketchup and mustard. The other sweet chili sauce.

I chose this place as I'd never tried Korean hotdogs before. They prominently displayed the number one combo. 2 dogs and a drink for $12.99. I decided to try that. While waiting for my food I was looking at the menu and realized that 2dogs and a drink a la carte would have been $12.47? What gives?? I felt ripped off before I even got my food. Food arrived and I was not allowed to have any condiments to take with me to my seat, but had to have them apply the condiments to the dogs. They looked pretty but I soon realized I wished I had more to dip in. Dogs were low quality and did not move on the skewer like the outer coating did. This made it very difficult to eat unless you just wanted coating. I tried pushing the dogs from the base with the coating but to no avail. Finally realized I wasted my $13 and dumped them in the trash. One star because the Sprite was good.

Genuinely the best version of a hot dog I have had yet. Quality beef hotdogs with crrunchy potatoes. Highly recommended for anyone.

My wife and I were looking to try something new in Annapolis and came across Chessie's Wharf on…read moreYelp. When we arrived, it was pretty busy. All the outdoor seating was full, and inside there was only one table available. Most of the tables are larger, so we noticed some groups sharing space, which actually worked out fine. The restaurant has a great open-air feel even indoors thanks to the large garage-style door that opens up an entire wall. For drinks, my wife ordered iced tea and I had a Peach Mule. The mule was good, but next time I'd skip the rim garnish. They also have a big beer selection, and the prices seemed very reasonable. For food, we ordered the brisket burger (single patty with cheese, topped with shaved brisket, jalapeño slaw, raw onion, pickles, and sauce). They offer a deal where you can add a side and drink for $5, so we added onion rings and also ordered the Serpent Fries as an appetizer. The fries came out first and looked great and they did not disappoint. Fresh cut with bacon, pico, scallions, and a serpent sauce (seemed like a beer cheese). Really flavorful, I did ask for ranch, which was an extra $0.50. I understand charging for extras, but not everyone uses ketchup or mustard, so that felt a little unnecessary. The burger came out shortly after, and it was excellent. We split it, and it was packed with flavor. Honestly, adding bacon would make it even better a "Triple B" (Bacon, Brisket, Burger) would be perfect. The only letdown was the onion rings. The onions inside were very thin and overcooked, leaving them dried out with little flavor. Even without the over-frying, the onions themselves just didn't have much taste. Definitely something they could improve. Overall, it's a great spot for burgers and fries, and we'll definitely be back for that. We saw other dishes come out that looked good too, so there's more to try next time.

BLUF: RAR beer and bar eats like burgers and tots with minimal parking…read more What I love about Chessie's Wharf is that it plays on the local lore of Chessie the Sea Monster. Also, the decor is great and the tap line is long. Aside from RAR beers there are a few rotating handles with beer from "guest" breweries. But no need to venture out to guest brews, RAR has great selections. If you're not a beer drinker they also have spirits and seltzers. I'm not sure about wine but I suspect they have a few options. Foood selections are comforting and simple - mostly burgers, wings, fries, tots and salads. For slightly more special options they have a brisket burger, crab dip and a few other tantalizing selections. I'll gladly work my way through the whole menu. I love that they brand Chessie into the buns. So cute! Chessie's has bar seating and lots of community tables so introverts be aware. When the weather is nice they have a great patio. To relive the memories of this great neighborhood bar, they sell merch and canned beer.
