I tried three cookies this week. I loved the brownie batter. Crumbl has changed its chocolate chip. It now has both milk chocolate chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips (and no sea salt). I am just not a milk chocolate chip in my chocolate chip cookies girl. I wouldn't get it again. The peanut butter cup brownie cookie was good but needed more peanut butter cups. The service here was terrible. Maybe since I ordered via Uber eats but as I waited near pickup I wondered why will no employees just look at me and acknowledge me? For about 10 minutes I stood there till I was asked about my order. And lo and behold it was not made. I got this as a treat for my children, and the cookies are good if you like slightly underbaked. Amazing cookies. Store is always slammed, wait is too long, and store is trashed. Not enough waiting space. Even ordering ahead doesn't really speed things up. Many DoorDash employees ask staff repeatedly how much longer the wait will be. Thought this was normal until I just visited the store in Foxboro and had a completely different experience. I have gotten cookies here 2 or 3 times. The first time was opening day and I ordered through the app so I skipped the crazy long line. Definitely use the app and save yourself the time of waiting to order and then making the cookies. The app is also useful for checking the current week's flavors. Do I believe you should give Crumbl Cookies a try if you never have? Yes I do even despite my 3 star rating. You may like them more than I do. The cookies are giant and definitely meant for sharing. Overall I'm giving three stars because the cookies just lack any type of wow factor. Yes they are giant but their taste is just average and a couple were overall just too sweet. The price is quite steep for cookies, 6 of them for $24. Honestly I would rather have a smaller cookie from a local bakery that likely will have better flavor. The cookies were very sweet but we liked the flavors we chose, particularly the Strawberry Limeade with Nerds. The cookies were huge and took up all the space in the box, even overlapping a bit. (We had already taken out a cookie before I took the picture). I asked my dad (who usually thinks everything is overpriced) how much he thought they were and he actually guessed more than what they cost. Definitely priced and styled to be high-end, but it didn't seem outrageous, although that's a personal decision if the price is worth it to you. The staff was a bit hesitant to answer questions or make recommendations, but they were nice and pleasant and made sure my order was correct once it came out. I'm a big fan of crumbl especially the squares/cakes/pies. I'm just a little upset with a couple of instances where the cookies were not like the pictures advertised so to say. Whenever I pick up an online order, the staff seem to show off the cookies before passing it off to take home. This last time I picked up, very eager for the key lime pie, the cookies and the pie weren't shown before releasing to me, just passed over and I was on my way. When I got home, I wanted to take a peek before the family get them but find one of my pies looking like the whipped cream had been wiped off or smudged or maybe flipped upside down or somthing :( still delicious but it was really upsetting opening up something I wasnt expecting. There was also another time I had cookies delivered to my office and my strawberry cake cookie wasn't even frosted, just a bare strawberry cookie. Like I said, still a big fan, delicious regardless. These cookies are okay, i didn't know this was a chain place and that they have them all over near me as well. The service was top tier!! Super friendly staff& cookies came out very quickly. We got 2 regular chocolate chip, brookie, coconut cream pie & two of the "cold cookies" (chocolate milkshake & cookies and cream milkshake) which was not a favorite at all and didnt realize until after ordering. This location, located at Rock Row in Westbrook Maine, is in a newly built shopping center with crazy weird parking lots with rotaries and everything. The place isn't huge and is an open concept design. There two touch pads that you can place your order at, if paying by card. If paying by cash you have to wait in a small line with be helped by a person. I order the box of four, that came to about 20$ with tip. The lady showed them to me before closing the box and telling me to have a nice day. The service was efficient and polite, they made sure I was pleased before sending me on my way. I got the cinnamon square, a maple sandwich, and 2 peanut butter chocolate chips! The hype made it seem like these cookies would be equivalent to gold. They were good, not great, and not out of this world. They were good cookies, but I don't understand the get up. I will say I wish there was a bigger selection, as there was only a few to choose from. I will also say the maple sandwich cookie was pretty damn good. The best by far, out of the options that I got. This one was not for me. As far as chains go this location is relatively clean but it was a lot. First of all it was PACKED with a line out the door on a winter weekend and seems as though it always is. Mostly teenagers and college kids so maybe I was just in the wrong market. It's also 6$ for a singular cookie that tastes and appears to be mostly butter or icing and little else. For the price I paid for these cookies, I was expecting magic in my mouth because I could have gone to a local bakery or grocery store and gotten a better quality cookie that didn't require more than one glass of milk to eat. I personally like the concept they have, but if you are going to boast about large flavorful cookies, you better live up to the hype. I found the milk chocolate chip dry and it literally crumbled to pieces in your hand with each bite. I broke the cookie in half and when I went to raise it to my mouth to take a bite, half of it fell off and onto the floor. Strike 1. I've had better cookies as this had no flavor other than chocolate. There was a fudge brownie with a caramel sauce which tasted like a brownie, but was pretty dense, but at least it was moist. There was an another cookie that was ginger bread I believe, I took one bite and gave it to the girlfriend. The chocolate candy one disintegrated the second I picked it up. That is how dry it was. Stroke two. I appreciate the experience they attempt to offer with their stylish and gourmet-looking cookies, but this batch fell far short of the expectation all these great reviews I see on Yelp. Full disclosure: there are very few times in my life something has been "too sweet." I'm a fan of sugary things. Now that that is out of the way... Holy wow! I finally ordered a 4 pack from here and it was one of the best things ever!! I got an original chocolate chip, brownie batter, cookie batter, and the sugar cookie with frosting. I love sweets and can usually eat everything I order even if it's a lot. These lasted for a few days so while they were very expensive, they kept for a few days and were worth the price. I thought my favorite would be the brownie batter and while it was good, it was my least favorite: very very chocolatey and need a whole glass of milk with it. The sugar cookie was very good but the frosting was bordering on too sweet even for me. The original was divine but the real winner was the cookie batter. Ok Ok I must admit right off the bat, I am a fan of sweets and goodies .. especially cookie goodies. Here is a layout of the process that I used to obtain some of these morsels of goodness. I downloaded the App for Crumbl and I went in and placed an order for 6 cookies (little expensive for my normal taste but wanted to see what the hype was all about) ranging from lemon, brownie, apple pie and more. I pressed that I was going to be picking up curbside for the goods and it gave me an option to let them know when I arrived by pressing a button on the screen and they came out and delivered the deliciousness. The cookies were a little underbaked and soft just like I like them and the family all gave thumbs up on the cookies ... all except the cornbread one. The service was great and they were super friendly and I cannot see this location not doing well outside of Rock Row and right next to the Chik-Fil-A and Market basket so they will be busy busy busy. Finally Crumbl comes to maine! If you don't know, Crumbl originated in Utah with a mainly Mormon demographic. As of recent years, Crumbl has expanded with one location in almost every state. They've gained a lot of popularity online for their crazy flavors that they come out with each week. Every Sunday there is a new line up of cookies. I have been every week since the up-and-coming Rock Row location opened and love it every time. They are constantly making cookies so it's always super quick and fresh. Sometimes they run out (because of the popularity) but that just means they have to make a new batch which should only take 10-30 minutes depending. Some cookies are warm and some are served chilled. This is my favorite cookie place ever now and I anxiously await the lineup posts every Sunday! read more

When anyone walks in, you're always welcomed with a "Welcome To Crumbl." They have self-serve stations and a cashier to order your cookies at. This place is small inside for the customer side and more of just a grab and go. Once placed, it took us no more than 5-10min to get them. Every time they ask you, "How do they look?" before closing the box to give to you. I love that they come warm and fresh when you pick them up. I also love how big they are and rotating the flavors frequently, so every week is different. The only thing is, I do find them too sweet, and half a cookie was enough for me. I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I don't love the cookies as much as I thought I would after hearing people rave about them for years. There was nothing wrong with them per-say, just not cooked to my personal preference. I opted for a 4-pack and tried: chocolate chip, cotton candy, old fashioned doughnut and fried ice cream. When brought from the kitchen, they come out in a cute pink box. You view the cookies and are asked if they are to your liking. The presentation and packaging is well done. Even with their size, $17 after tax and then being asked if I'd like to tip the bakers was a bit of a sticker shock. As for flavor, they are good sized cookies and come in fun flavors, but the sweetness and density is so over powering that somewhere around half a cookie was enough for me. I would suggest offering a smaller, less expensive option and maybe cooking them for a few minutes longer. I love a warm gooey cookie, but these were on the verge of cookie dough in the center. Out of the four I tried, the chocolate chip was my favorite so good call on having those always be on the menu. read more

I went in and bought an overpriced, undercooked dough ball and ended up tossing it to the wildlife in Old Port - not worth the money at all. Crunchy edges and dough interior does not make for a good cookie. I tried the Portsmouth location and was disgusted, so decided maybe this location would do better and I was wrong.
