    Sweets galore

Brought my mom here on a whim after a hobby lobby excursion since she never treats herself to....treats haha. Wonderful and friendly service. The digital ordering tablets in the store make everything far less stressful for those that get anxiety when trying to decide what they want (I ordered one of everything, anyway ). The inside was very clean and minimalist. Focal point is clearly their giant cookies. Everything was delicious. I preferred the speculous overall because it didn't punch me with sweetness like the others. Pink velvet was a close second but I could only eat a sliver at a time. Disclaimer: I do not typically eat cookies and I have a savory, over sweet, tooth. My mom enjoyed sampling all the flavours and that's all that mattered. This would be an excellent office bribe or celebration treat to share with many others since there is no way either of us could eat even half of one cookie! Thanks for the sweets! Cheers

Just a little forewarning- I'm a freak about germs, like clinical OCD freak. I love places that I can see the process, that's what's usually great about places like Crumbl because I can see that they're practicing good hygiene and following protocols. Anyway, today we went in and there were 3 girls working, they seemed very nice, they welcomed us in. There were about 4 groups ahead of us so there was a bit of a wait, which was no big deal, the problem was that they didn't change their gloves a single time while we were in there. Same gloves that touched our cookies touched the mop and the tablets and the registers, etc. Now that's enough for me to not be able to stomach eating them for fear of the germs that were transferred. Anyway, my partner says the cookies were very good as always I'm just a little freak like that and was very disturbed

With great anticipation for a memorable cookie experience, I dropped in to buy desserts in the new Spokane location yesterday. I drove from the back to the front and was surprised to see the back door open and an employee sitting on the nearby curb talking in her mobile phone. You never get a second chance to make a first impression! I didn't let that deter me from giving the new store a try. As I entered the store, I was greeted with a symphony of "Welcome to Crumbls" from what seem to be at least two dozen employees rolling and weighing raw cookie dough at their prescribed work stations. The cost of labor immediately entered my mind! As I knew this would mean the product sold would need to cover this variable cost. The respectful cashier greeted me as well, and I alerted him the back door was open. He responded he wasn't responsible for that so I asked to speak to the manager to convey my concern for the poor sanitation practice. I expected to see a display cabinet of freshly baked cookies displayed in a glass case where I could buy with my eyes. But not the case at all! Instead there is a slab on the counter displaying ONLY ONE sample of each cookie available that day. They were huge! And they looked delicious! Perfectly positioned and looking quite edible! The cashier was pleasant and accommodating as he explained the options available for purchase and the packaging options. I also noticed a stainless steel bowl of freshly cracked eggs on the counter adjacent the cashier's left. Surprisingly, their price menu was only displayed on the wall by the entrance. This is a missed opportunity. It created a disadvantage for both the customer and the cashier as it's too far away, and required a completed 90 degree turn for the customer to see it plus the sun was glaring on it, so it was impossible to see! When the cashier explained the cookies were $5 each, I concluded perhaps they don't want you to see the prices! I ordered 1 chocolate chip cookie and one sugar cookie. Although there were 10 times more employees than customers in the store, it took 5 min after I paid to get the products. Two customers received their products before me, and one of them arrived after me. The cookies. Apologies for burying the lead! Did I say the cookies are HUGE? Probably two and a half times larger than the average freshly baked cookie! The chocolate chip cookie was excellent! Perfectly prepared, chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. But the sugar cookie was a total disappointment. It tasted like uncooked dough. It may have looked done on the outside while being partially cooked on the inside. With all the employees working, someone needs to taste the product. So, $5 was wasted. I did have a brief conversation about the open back door with on-shift supervisor. She was receptive to my concern about the sanitation violation after she first said the door was open because they were unloading/reloading supplies. When I told her I didn't see anyone loading anything, she thanked me for bringing it to her attention. And said she would close it now. Would I try Crumbl again? Maybe. Let's see how they fare with other customers. Time will tell.

I stopped in here for the first time. This is a new business, open less than a week. I tried a lemon, almond, snickerdoodle, and raspberry cookie. I have eaten gourmet cookies at many other bakeries, these are a cut above, delicious.

Good cookies just super sweet. Soft cookies are the best and Crumbl didn't disappoint. Service was great and girl at the front greeted us and helped us order since it was our first time. Super clean and brand new!!

Definitely special occasion type cookies. I really liked the chocolate one. Staff members were nice and friendly.

But the highlight was their baked goods, 100% gluten free at a very reasonable price for the portion and quality. This place is inside Saranac Commons, very pretty and is a good place to slow down for lunch or coffee. Staff were kind, attentive, and happy to answer questions about the menu. The dining room was almost empty when I walked in, and no one greeted me. They were playing some Kanye west music behind the counter so I thought there'd be some livelihood but... there wasn't. One of the younger employees who took my order was fine but you could tell he didn't want to be there and the person at the register seemed like they didn't really want to be there either. They weren't outright rude, but the interaction definitely wasn't welcoming and both of them mumbled and spoke so low, I had to ask them both multiple times what they were saying. I ordered two donuts and a cup of coffee, which came to $7.35. For what was a Keurig coffee with basic shelf-stable creamer, it felt overpriced. On the positive side, the donuts were good. You can tell they're handmade, and they had a nice taste. They were definitely the highlight of the visit. Maybe my expectations were too high because of all the recommendations I'd heard, but I expected a Saturday morning at such a well-known donut shop to have more energy and atmosphere. Instead, it felt surprisingly underwhelming and lacked the welcoming vibe I was hoping for. Overall, the donuts were solid, but nothing about the experience made me eager to come back. I don't regret trying it, but I also don't really understand the hype.
