Truly loved it, and they had more available at the store that isn't shown on Grubhub. Great for gifting and if you want. High quality bakery. Super nice staff, plenty of parking , small storefront. Look like you can use them for a good birthday or wedding cake also. Probably the highest quality bakery in Modesto.

We stopped in for the first time today. I had no idea what to expect, but was slightly underwhelmed…read moreby the amount of options compared to other shops in the area. There were limited quantities of each so I'm not sure if they have more things on the weekends, which would totally make sense for a local small business on a random Tuesday. Parking is easy once you find it and although the inside is very small there are a few chairs and cafe tables perfect for a duo. Nonetheless, we left with a good haul and got one of almost everything: Red velvet slice, Carrot cake slice, Chocolate Mousse slice, Chocolate brownie, and Lemon bar. They also had a sheet cake, a small pack of cupcakes and cake pops in a separate case, so I wasn't sure if those were preorders or display or available for purchase. Here's what I loved: THE BROWNIE. One of the best I've ever had! The lemon bar was also delicious, super tart and perfectly baked. I'd get either of those again! Customer service was very friendly, prices were clearly displayed and fair, and the portions were good sizes. Here's what I just liked: The cake part of the red velvet, mousse, and carrot cake was a bit dry. They were beautifully decorated, the frosting and fillings were great, but the cake itself just wasn't as soft and moist as I was hoping. Another Yelper mentioned sticking the cake in the microwave and I wish I would have tried that. Definitely a small business worth supporting!

House of Random is a cute place to come enjoy ice cream, cannoli, milkshakes and more…read more This is my second visit and each time the employees have been welcoming. They carry a friendly personality with smiles on their faces. Inside has a swinging bench that is fun to sit on and enjoy your treat. Bathrooms are clean. Tables are clean, no ice cream stuck to the table. I think my only downside is the flies. Both my visits, there has been flies swarming me while I'm trying to eat. I'm constantly swapping them away. It's a bit annoying while trying to eat. Maybe a fan above the entrance to keep them from entering may help? Other than that, that would be my only complaint. I will always stop at House of Random whenever I'm in Turlock and need something to satisfy my sweet tooth. Definitely recommend

One thing to keep in mind is that the donuts are extremely sweet, so if you have a big sweet tooth, you'll probably love them! Despite the sweetness, they're delicious and make for a fun treat. The drinks, however, can be a bit hit or miss. Sometimes they're perfectly made, but other times they seem watered down because of the amount of ice. Overall, Mochinut is a great place to stop by when you're craving something sweet, especially if you're going with friends or family and want to try a variety of mochi donuts!
