This review is solely about the flavors. The worker was kind! I got the World Cup cookies today and they were not good at all. I haven't been to Crumbl since last year and decided to stop in and try this weeks flavors since I was so excited for the World Cup. I was extremely disappointed. Honestly none of the flavors were good. The mango Tajín cookie has a weird flavor in the Tajín and it almost felt like corn syrup. The Nanaimo had a rich fudge chunk on top of the cookie that was just too much and the sports drink cookie was arguably the best but the icing was weird with the sour flavor. This is the first time I considered throwing out food I paid for. Definitely won't be going back. read more

We usually order the regular size but opted for the minis this time. The IYKYK pink Crumbl box will get you into the pickiest homes if you don't want to arrive empty-handed. The cookies themselves are super rich, super big and super good. Crumbl even sells a Crumbl-cookie-cutter ($5) which cuts your cookie in four pie-shaped pieces. There's a four-pack box, a six-pack box, and something even more jumbo. Staff is super nice and super patient as you figure out just much a cheat-meal it's going to be. Worth it though. They make the cookies right there! They just opened one here at Burbank. I've heard all about them. I got one chocolate chip cookie for free. Just need to show them you've downloaded their app. I bought one lemon cheese cake cookie, which is great; I also got a tres leches one, which is a bit too sweet for my taste. They are pricey. $5 each. If you buy 4 or 6 or more there will be a discount . The more the cheaper. But I will recommend the lemon cheesecake one for sure. They got self service machine. We came for the grand opening in Burbank and heard about it from Facebook. We bought a 4- Pack of the Semi Chocolate Chip flavored cookies and got our Free Chocolate Chip cookie to celebrate the Grand Opening! Super happy the location is in Burbank and it is finally open! They did forget our free cookies and we didn't bother to check until we got home so we had to make the trip back to receive the cookies which was a bit annoying but we understand it is their first day. I don't get the hype. Was in there for the first time this week. I had three people in front of me in line when I got there. I stood there at least 15 to 20 minutes before I was even able to order. The three ladies who were working or so nice, and working hard, but I imagine the turnover here is ridiculous. I don't see how this business model is efficient at all. Also I ordered 6 dozen of the Minis. They were able to fulfill four dozen. I get that they have limited stock. And they were very nice about it. they let me know that it needs to go through catering. When I asked do I just call the day before catering for an order of six dozen minis, and they told me there is a three day notice!! 3 days ??! Again not an efficient business model. What else can I say about my favorite bakery? Street parking is available, but you can also park in the back if you're having trouble finding a spot. This is my second time coming to this location, and the customer service is always great. I highly recommend the confetti cookie with pink cream cheese icing and the classic chocolate chip cookie--both are fantastic. All of us wandering in today as Crumbl finally opened in Burbank seem to have enjoyed the same experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful despite the self-order right next to us. We got the peanut butter cookie, and it had good flavor and was thicker than most cookies. As a matter of preference, I prefer my cookies cooked longer (more crispy than cake-like) so know before you go if that's how you like your cookies. (That was my biggest lament) It'll be interesting to see how Crumbl, at $5 a cookie, will fare vs. Porto's across the street. Perhaps people will consider the long line there and think "for a few dollars more, I won't have to stand in line." I visited the Burbank store yesterday and was in line for about 15-20 minutes. All the (5-7) workers were clustered in the back (kitchen) area and there was no communication to the customers in line, as what the process was. I decided to order from my phone yet the "place order" bar was greyed out and I could not finalize the order, after entering my information. I walked to the counter for help with the website and was stared down by the employees, as if not to disturb them. She did not know what was wrong with the website. I asked why is there a line, why are you not taking orders? She said because they are waiting for the cookies. I asked if she could start taking peoples orders and she said it wouldn't matter because it would be a line anyway. To have people standing around with no communication as of what's going on or at least taking peoples order and telling them an approximate wait time is really unprofessional. If you have a store front then you need to have customer service and basic communication. Luckily there's a Porto's across the street where I was able to grab some desserts. And I have emailed my complaint as well, since that seems to be the response from management. read more
