We were looking for somewhere to pickup a sweet dessert for a birthday celebration and luckily Crumbl in Aina Haina was still open! There were many decadent options to choose from. Baked from scratch their weekly changing menu gives patrons the opportunity to try new flavors! If you wanna try a gourmet cookie, go grab yourself the pink box!!! Based on how the children devoured the cookies, we would say that it's definitely a hit! It's pretty pricey, but seems to satisfy everyone's sweet cravings! So next time you're in Aina Haina and looking for a nice treat to satisfy a sweet tooth, grab a pink box of Crumbl Cookies!

We tried the Tres Leches and the Dubai Chocolate Brownie cookies. The Tres Leches was just okay to be honest. My friends hyped it up as one of the best, but I found the cake a bit dry, most of the moisture seemed to come from the leches it was soaked in, and the cake itself was a little crumbly. The Dubai Chocolate Brownie, on the other hand, was amazing! Definitely one of my favorites from Crumbl so far. The flavor was rich and chocolatey, though extremely sweet. I could only finish it over about four sittings if eating it by myself. Still, the taste was great. I just wish it was a tad less sweet. The staff were really nice and welcoming when we came in and kind when they brought our order out. Overall, a good experience with one hit and one miss.

What a treat! We love crumbl cookies for every occasion, they have different flavors all the time and my kids are always asking to get them. Look at the size of each cookie! They are full size dessert and worth the hype.

Came here at 9:30 on a Friday night, to satisfy my daughter's craving for the Limited Time Benson Boone Cookie. Service was fast. Had to get a replacement on the chocolate cake since the flap punctured the cake when the worker closed the box.

Cookie didn't Crumbl... The latest T-Mobile Tuesday offer was a free Chocolate Chip Cookie with that I was instantly in and since I was in the Kaimuki area it was just a short drive to Aina Haina Shopping Center. I thought that I had to order my cookie using the provided computer monitor but had trouble and asked a staff that was familiar with the offer and said that it needed to be placed by manually. The shop is very cozy as the service is very small but they do prep and gather your order pretty fast and have a good system as I got my cookie and got on my way. Thank you!

First time at Crumbl Aina Haina. Good and quick service. I got a Cookies & Cream Cheescake cookie. It was fine, but paid almost $8 for just this one cookie. I was interested in the minis but this was not available as a mini. The cookie taste wasn't worth the +1.49.

Yay! So I no longer have to drive to Kapolei to get Crumbl cookies because this location just opened in Aina Hina near Jack's. There were quite a few customers in line when I walked in on a random afternoon. But the line went fast and they offer a self ordering station option. That helped. I like that they take your name when you order and they call it out when your cookies are ready. I like that the frost the cookies to order. I like that I have the option to get mini cookies, but I never do. I like that there are so many flavors and that they change It's kind of pricey at $4+ per cookie, but they are big and shareable. There is plenty of parking in the Aina Hina lot, and this is on my way home from town, so I may be stopping by here more often!

The cookies were tasty but it was kind on the smaller side. We ordered the Pecan Chocolate Chip, Cranberry White Chip, and Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies. Plus the cookies were rather pricey as well. The service was good. The staff were friendly. The ambiance was clean.

Love that Crumbl finally opened up in town! I love popping in whenever a good lineup is announced every Sunday. My favorites consist of their banana or strawberry flavored cookies, as well as the tres leches cake. Love the curbside pick-up through the app, as it's super convenient for the busy parking lot. The store is small, but very clean & the workers are always friendly!

While I was pleased with the flavor and texture of the pecan pie (my dad's favorite), I was hoping for more of a cookie selection since they are known to be a cookie shop. When I went there were many pie flavors but the only cookie was chocolate chip. I have heard mixed reviews of their outrageous cookie concoctions, but there were none to be found when I went. Positives: this location in Aina Haina Shopping Center has lots of free parking and it not too busy. I would definitely come again to try an actual cookie next time!

I first tried a Crumbl Cookie in California. I did not care for the sweetness and super soft texture of the cookie. So it's been awhile since I've wanted to try it again. But the social media on the new mini crumbl pique my interest. We walked into the Aina Haina store. The small front area and bright and clean. Some wall art. You can order on the electronic devices, which is located to your right as you enter the store or you can place your order at the counter. The price for the mini cookies were expensive at 3 for $9.99. See photos. The price for the regular cookie is $4.99. I decided to try the Galaxy Brownie cookie. Staff informed me that it's a favorite. It did have a frosting on top of the cookie, so at first, I was hesitant. But I got it anyway lol. The cookie was placed in an adorable pink box. It was served warm. A nice touch. But I was saving it for later. I sliced a piece of the cookie after dinner. I was surprised it was easy to cut. First impressions were: too sweet but a nice chocolate brownie flavor. The little candy topping provided a crunchy texture to the otherwise soft cookie. The rim of the cookie was a bit crispier and chewy. The inner portion of the cookie was very soft and almost fudge like. Cookie: 3/5 stars Ambiance: 3/5 stars Service: 4/5 stars

Crumbl - Aina Haina is not just for the mainland! Located in the shopping strip center near Foodland. I was shocked as how fast the service was here! They have tablets to place your order, and by the time we walked the 15 feet to the other side of the room they called my name and the order was ready to go! Same great tasting cookies as on the mainland!

We were in Aina Haina and stopped by to get some cookies. My friend took me to the one in Kapolei last year and I really liked their cookies. I was happy when I found out they opened a second location. The hubby and I picked up the four pack for $17.99. It was $0.99 more for the carrot cake. We got the milk chocolate chip, strawberry pretzel pie, brookie and the carrot cake. They were all amazing, but a little too sweet for me. I liked the milk chocolate chip the best. It was the less sweet out of the four and served warm. The strawberry pretzel pie was good with the cream cheese and strawberry jam. The pretzel pieces gave it a crunch. I'm glad that they're expanding and did a carrot cake. It was moist and tasted better than most carrot cakes that I've tried. It was flavorful, but again on the sweeter side. The service was swift and friendly. Don't forget to sign up for the app to start accumulating points.

Every morning, without fail, people gathered outside waiting patiently for pastries. No flashy signs. No gimmicks. Just quiet consistency. That alone intrigued me. By the second day, my mind was made up. I'm an early riser, so the plan was simple: go on my usual morning run and arrive before the rush. Japanese culture and craftsmanship have long fascinated me. Through close friends with family roots tracing back to Japan, I've developed a deep appreciation for the culture -- the discipline, the rituals, the precision, and the respect for process. There's a beauty in the intentional pace at which things are done. Nothing rushed. Nothing careless. This bakery embodied that philosophy perfectly. The space itself was small, modest, and aromatic. No overdesigned interiors. No influencer bait. Just the comforting smell of fresh bread and butter hanging in the air. Some bakeries hide behind elaborate architecture and presentation, but this place understood something more important: when the product is exceptional, the product becomes the attraction. The pastries ranged from playful and charming to elegant and refined. The Salt & Butter bread was an instant staple -- savory, warm, and impossibly light. The dough practically dissolved like air. Thankfully, nothing felt overly heavy, because I completely lost control of my ordering strategy. The Kobo Kuma -- a soft bear-shaped bun filled with homemade vanilla bean custard -- was perfection. Equal parts cute and comforting. The Cinnamon Roll was solid, but the Haupia pastry completely stole the show. For those unfamiliar, Haupia is a traditional Hawaiian coconut pudding found throughout Polynesia. The flavor here was subtle yet lingering, delicate without disappearing. The kind of flavor that quietly stays with you long after the last bite. Then came the Blueberry Danish -- beautiful, buttery, and perfectly sweet. I didn't even make it to the savory options this time, which honestly just gives me another reason to return. And I absolutely will -- whether back here in Hawaii or perhaps at one of their mainland locations in Los Angeles. Some places become popular because of hype. Others because of quality. This bakery earned its line.

Came across this place when searching on yelp. Once I got there, there was a line and I knew that was a good sign. I saw a sign saying they use 100% hokkaido flour from Japan (?)... so, although I was just looking for a matcha drink, I decided to try a couple pastries. I tried their salt & butter bread + a pastry that was filled with vanilla bean custard. IT WAS SO GOOD AND SO SOFT! I also got their banana matcha-- BOMB! I like how the banana foam isn't too much banana. It was a good balance. Service was quick! You just tell them what you want and everything came out quickly despite the long line I walked up to. It was a cute tiny bakery. Nothing crazy. Will definitely be a returning customer (:

As I came up to the shopping center shortly after 7am, I noticed a long line, and thought to myself, this couldn't possibly be for Kona Coffee Purveyors, right?? But unfortunately for me, it was. I didn't see how long the line extended, but I knew I didn't have time to wait, so I ended up getting coffee elsewhere. A few hours later, around 11:30am, I was back in the Waikiki area and happened to be walking past Kona Coffee Purveyors. I saw there were maybe a handful of people in line, so I decided to drop in. I ended up getting a latte, black sesame kouign amann, and pandan coconut tapioca pudding. My favorite was the pandan coconut tapioca pudding which was delightfully light and not too sweet dessert. Black sesame kouign amann: A twist on the classic kouign amann. A beautiful blend of crunchy and soft. The black sesame filling adds a nice flavor. Pandan coconut tapioca pudding: Pandan pudding, coconut tapioca, topped with coconut macaroon. This seems to be a seasonal/limited item. Their desserts are from b patisserie, and they all looked soo enticing and pretty! It was a nice place to sit and leisurely enjoy coffee and pastries. I would say this place is not worth it right when they open, only because the line is soo long and it's very hectic with people fighting for seating and getting their orders in. I would recommend going later in the morning or in the afternoon to avoid the morning craze.

I don't know if I'd wait in that long line again just for those pastries. Nitro: 2/5. It was super bitter and not a good nitro at all. Drip coffee: 4/5. Nothing special but not bad. Banana chocolate croissant: 5/5. Very good. Lilikoi pastry: 3/5. Tasted good. But was not wowed. Pistachio pastry: 5/5. Loved the pistachio cream and the pastry was tasty.

Every butcher I've interacted with has been patient and genuinely helpful, especially when explaining different cuts of beef. I'm not a fan of cleaning chicken myself, so I really appreciate that they'll remove skin and bones in-house (you still pay for it, and they'll ask if you want to keep the scraps). Another big plus is that the meat is fresh, unlike a few other places I've visited that only carry frozen options. Bakery: I can't come here without grabbing a sweet treat. They offer a mix of sweet and savory pastries, and honestly, I haven't had a bad one yet. I don't have a single favorite because they've all been consistently good. In my opinion, they're best enjoyed the same day. They also offer seasonal and holiday pre-orders. Sandwich of the Day: The premade sandwiches start at 11am and are made with about 90% house-made ingredients, served on their focaccia. As someone who loves a good sandwich, this did not disappoint. There are a few seats inside but I usually take everything to go so I can get my meat into the fridge.

I love Pipeline Bakeshops Malasadas! I have been to several Malasada places in Hawaii but | love…read morethere's the best for the following reasons: 1. the size of the malasadas: some restaurants tend to make their Malasadas smaller and when places do this it ruins the overall texture and quality of it. The bigger the malasadas size the more airy and fluffy and more bread layers that will be inside. 2. their malasadas always taste fresh and the same quality each time. 3. their malasadas don't feel oily or heavy at all Overall I would highly recommend this place for their Malasadas! I'm so happy to have found them. I can back multiple times on my trip. They also have other desserts too that I have yet to try. They have ice cream, cakes, and other desserts Also tip: if you are ordering a malasada also order a coffee or a matcha drink to go with it. The cinnamon sugar from the malasada just matches so perfectly with a drink this restaurant is also a nice place for walking! There's lot of stores and restaurants to walk around! I'm trying to remember but I think there was a book off that was not too far from here! If you either drive or maybe walk. Service: staff was super helpful and friendly while I was there. I was having an issue with my online order because my phone was being glitchy and they were so nice in helping :) Also wanted to note their branding is so cute!! They even sell merch items too

However, there are many alternative malasada purveyors throughout Honolulu, so I depended on local vloggers to find the best ones. This one popped up often on YouTube, and as luck would have it, we were dining at The Pig & The Lady on the next block. How calorifically convenient. We took the opportunity to stop by for a pre-dinner snack since they closed at 6PM. It's a cute shop with multiple sweets including quite a selection of housemade ice cream and delectable mouthfuls called Cake Bombs (Photo 10). We decided we would be good and ordered one unfilled Malasada each. Dusted with various sugar flavors, they were just $2.65 a piece. I went for the Coffee, while Jamie chose the daily special, Cinnamon (Photo 6). They were soft and tasty, quite comparable to Leonard's albeit a tad smaller. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing since we had dinner ahead of us. However, we let temptation get the best of us and shared a $5.50 slice of the Ube Haupia Mac Nut Bar, a yummy combination of sweet potato and ube topped with haupia (coconut milk pudding) on a macadamia nut crust (Photo 9). Truth be told, it stole the show from the malasadas. FOOD - 4 stars... the malasadas were good, but that ube dessert was next level AMBIANCE - 4 stars...really a takeout operation with a lot of temptations SERVICE - 4 stars...very calm and orderly TOTAL - 4 stars...yet another spot for sweet Hawaiian decadence RELATED - Exploring Hawaii? I'm happy to see a local business thriving but I hope they can improve their customer flow. The baked goods looked as inviting as always but they seemed a day-old or something. The butter horn was hard and not flaky as I've come to expect and the chocolate of the Boston Creme donut wasn't creamy. They may wish to consider: 1, Clearly delineating the line for the restaurant from the bakery. It was super busy for both so there was a lot of confusion. 2. Perhaps placing the number machine for the bakery closer to the door? Tourists aren't familiar with the system so it leads to some unnecessary dissatisfaction. 3. The staff had to leave the counter to get coffee - hot or iced. The condiments for the coffee were on the showcase so people had to be in everyone's way to get their sugar and cream. In fact, if you were standing near the door you had to go through people waiting in line back into the establishment to get those items. But, with all this, the two ladies at the counter were remarkably composed and helpful.
