We don't hesitate to take on a new home project that might disturb drywall because working with them is so easy and reasonable. The business has the feel of a family business, while bringing the highest level of craftsmanship and workmanship, outstanding communication, and truly excellent and beautiful results. Additionally, there has always been the highest professionalism and care taken to protect our property, while they work, and very efficiently at that. Cannot recommend highly enough.

After looking at our house, they recommended having the prep work done by Mark Freitas. Mark came out to take a look at what needed to be done before we could paint. It turned out five sides of the house had extensive dry rot, so much of the board and bat would need to be replaced. Also, Mark found two sides of the house had termites. Mark's crew showed up early every morning, replaced the bad siding, and had a termite company fumigate without tenting. We had a family reunion planned, and needed the job to be finished by a certain date. They finished it on time, and even worked on a weekend day to meet the deadline. Also, they were great at cleaning up. I highly recommended Mark and his crew for any construction you have planned.

I was referred to Mark Freitas Construction (a general contractor) by CertaPro Painters. Mark and his men removed the popcorn and taped and textured the ceiling over a weekend. Before completely covering the walls and floor below the ceilings with plastic, Mark's team also removed some of my heavy furniture. Scaffolding was brought in and set up in the living room. The workers, including Mark, were at my house as scheduled each day. Once the work was completed, they took special attention to clean up in preparation for the painters. After several negative experiences with contractor remodels over the years, I can say that working with Mark was a great experience. Mark' s goal is to please the customer, and he and his crew do whatever it takes to do so. I will definitely hire him again.

We had a really great experience with Gilroy Glass, and especially with Steve…read more We did a pretty large project with them. They installed new glass shower enclosures in six bathrooms, about 5 very large mirrors in our home gym, and a glass enclosure for a wine display. The quality of the work and the installation was excellent, but what impressed me just as much was the communication and consistent excellent customer service. One of our bathrooms had a somewhat unusual situation because the shower door is the same for our sauna. We needed a special handle that was metal on the shower side and wood on the sauna side. It took some work to figure to find something that would work, and Steve really went out of his way to research it and come up with a solution. Months after the install, that handle unexpectedly started to corrode. I brought it up to Steve, and there was absolutely no runaround. He took care of it right away and actually had a new custom handle made so we wouldn't have the same problem again. The new one looks even better than the original. We also had a couple of small things that needed attention after we moved back into the house--some sealant and a couple of the plastic water seals around the shower doors. Again, they were responsive and helpful and took care of everything. That kind of follow-up means a lot to me. It is one thing for a company to do a good job when they're getting paid to do the original project. It says a lot more about a company when, a year later, you call them with a relatively small issue and they are still just as responsive and willing to help. I would absolutely use Morgan Hill Glass again and would highly recommend them for shower enclosures, mirrors, custom glass work, or anything along those lines. Steve was exemplary to work with.

Unfortunately, my client took all of the information Ibo shared with how to do what was needed and had a family member do the work. So, we didn't use him at that time due to circumstances outside of my control. Then again, about 5 months ago I had another Commercial Kitchen building owner I was helping deal with a very dated and unre-certifiable kitchen space a COVID bankrupted tenant moved out of and left us a bit of a mess. After calling around, I was reintroduced to Ibo at that time. He was again, extremely knowledgeable and cost effective in the improvements he suggested, and came in on time and on budget. Best of all, we found a wonderful new tenant that signed a lease and got approval from the Santa Clara County Health Department on the FIRST INSPECTION! I was very nervous about the inspection for reasons I won't go into, but Ibo knows what the rules are, and how to get it done in the most cost effective way...and held my hand through the process after he was done with the work. I will definitely recommend Ibo to others for all types of construction work. You can have confidence that he will deliver what he says...and stand behind it as well.
