Got a quote after sending pictures of what is needed for drywall repair. Went to see my house and same quote as the pictures. Luis is courteous and did a fantastic quality work on top of charging a very reasonable price. I high recommend Luis if you have drywall repair needed. I would highly recommend Serrano Drywall. Luis was very professional and easy to work with. When he showed up for the estimate he noticed we didn't use shoes in the house and quickly removed his boots. The work was done on time and in a very professional manner. He modified our scope when we wanted to add on work without any concerns. read more

High quality work. Very prompt response. Fair upfront pricing. Very professional. Left my bedroom spotless and dust free after the job.

We hired Luis and his team for 5/8-inch drywall installation and a Level 4 wall finish, as we had encountered issues with our general contractor regarding the 5/8 drywall installation. Luis was professional and easy to work with. The pricing was very reasonable, and the quality of his team's installation was high. We appreciated that he honored the initial quote even after we requested a slightly higher-priced brand of Sheerrock board. After the prime coat of painting was applied, we noted some uneven surfaces. Luis was patient and communicative, providing clear explanations and proactively offering to visit the site to advise our painter on handling the spots. Fortunately, these were resolved effectively through standard sanding by the painting crew. Overall, we are very satisfied with the quality of the work and would recommend Luis for future drywall service needs. read more

I recently had a corner fireplace removed in my home, and a new wall was put up in its place. The seam where the new wall met the old wall had a huge ridge that was very noticeable. I reached out to many drywall companies through Yelp, but ultimately chose Luis because of the great reviews, the fair quote, and his responsiveness. He explained exactly what needed to be done, and how long it would take. On the scheduled day, he arrived on time, was respectful of my house by covering the floors and furniture, and finished the project in exactly the amount of time he said. He also left the house spotless. The end result is perfect, and you can no longer see the line where the new and old walls join! I'm very impressed with Luis' work and I will definitely hire him again if I have any drywall needs in the future. read more

Highly recommend Serrano drywall for any drywall work. We needed multiple drywall repairs around the house after some plumbing work. The quotes I received for this work from almost every top rated drywall company in the South Bay was MORE THAN TWICE the amount Serrano drywall quoted us. I was initially unsure about the quality of work given the low cost, but boy was I glad I hired these guys. The work was great with the drywall patching and texture matching, work done on-time and they left the place neat and clean after they were done. They even fixed some smaller drywall areas that weren't part of the initial request without extra charge. read more

Let's start with the initial stages. I sent a yelp request asking for a quote and he sent me a price based on the photos. He didn't ask to stop by in person to view it, but I wanted to meet him before selecting him as my contractor. He took the extra step and came by and his quote was in the range of his yelp response back to me. Luis repaired several holes in my ceiling and achieved the perfect result of what I was looking for which was to make it look like there was no damage in the first place. His work is top notch and he is also very easy to work with. In addition, he was able to provide a receipt right after the job which was great. Some contractors getting a receipt is tough and you need to chase them, but he was very good about this. I would most definitely hire him again also because he is an honest guy. I've dealt with contractors who do the bait and switch or scare tactics to up the price and he's transparent with high quality work. He also communicated very effectively with me which is another bonus. read more

Highly recommended! I had a small drywall repair job and Luis Serrano was detail oriented and skilled. The wall looked like it was never damaged in the first place; he textured the damage area to match perfectly. His pricing is fair and very reasonable. Will definitely be our go-to person for any drywall work in the future. read more

Luis, the boss, did a fantastic job on patching my ceiling drywall. He does the difficult jobs where blending, and etc, are needed. To check the work, I used a shop light at different distances/angles (because OCD) and checked the patch angle and texture. Everything was perfect. There was no dirt tracked into my house because he laid down plastic and covered the entire path from my front door to the work area. There was even a curtain set up around the repair area to keep stuff clean. Lastly, the price was right (same as the estimate!). P.S. I'm already trying to schedule another job with Luis, because I feel confident in the quality of his work. read more

Luis and team did an excellent job finishing the drywall in my 2-car garage. I did the drywall installation and hired Luis to tape/mud/finish. Part of the job required adding "pink" fire mud to the separation wall between the garage and the house. I didn't mention this at first, but Luis came back on his own time and applied the required fire mud to the wall. I am extremely happy with the quality of the work, all done for an extremely reasonable price. I'll certainly recommend Luis to anyone else who needs any drywall work, and will be back to him when I do my next drywall job on the house! read more

The normal process for many of us is to get a few estimates before you start the hiring. I started requesting estimate since February of this year. I am building a new construction of garage and ADU so I only have a set of plans to show. To my surprise, I only get a couple of estimates and Luis was the first to respond with a detailed and actual estimate. I was amazed that he answered all questions based on a set of plans. He is very sharp! I met with Luis in person 5 months after the estimate because my construction was ready for drywall. He and his team was very efficient from the first day of work till the last day of work. He does great quality work and he took his time to clean up the site once he is done. He is very reliable. He always come on time and ready to work. And one more thing, if your project is under inspection by the City of San Jose, and they required you to do CDD review, Luis knows how to get that done. Serrano Drywall is the best! Highly recommended! read more

5 stars for Luis and his team. First, he was responsive on giving a quote. He is honest too as I had an additional request and he didn't jack up his original estimate. Second, he was on time to start the job and completed early. Lastly, he did a great job both on the ceiling and walls. I'd highly recommend him for any drywall repairs and I'd certainly use him for future projects too. read more

Their estimation is reasonable, the work is great! I hired them to removed and installed drywall for all bedrooms and the living room and hallway including ceiling. The result is great. What's more important is that when I contacted them after the work was done for a minor crack, the owner immediately responded and came to fix the crack. They are very responsible and professional, and they care about their work quality. I would definitely hire them again if I need and would recommend them to anyone that needs drywall work. read more

Luis did an amazing job. We had a plumbing sealant foam explosion under our kitchen sink where the big job had been done and the expansion of the foam eventually stuck to everything and tore and cracked open the inside wall. Luis made it look good as new in a couple of hours and almost no cleaning for me req. after as he was very tidy. Highly recommended! read more

Luis is as experienced and professional as they come! We had some drywall repair that needed to be done in our home. His pricing is extremely fair, honestly better than anyone we spoke to! And his 20 years of experience shows, you can't even tell that a patch repair was done. He does incredible work. Luis and Serrano Drywall are awesome ! He is a true artist at his craft. I've had to use other drywall guys and he's the best I've used so far. He's clean, communicates well and seems super honest. Totally recommeded for any drywall work! We needed a new drywall panel installed in the kitchen ceiling due to a remodeling project, as well as a number of smaller patch jobs around the house. Luis (and his helper) did a fabulous job! The texture totally matches - you can't tell where the patches are at all! And they did a great job protecting our new wood floors, and keeping dust, etc. away from everything else. Perfect job cleaning up too! And the price was very reasonable.
