My fiance and I enjoy this place. Their fish and chips are really good, and so is the clam chowder and calamari. They let you call ahead to reserve a table, which is nice because it can get busy. Waitstaff is very nice, and the prices are reasonable. The area is also pretty - right across from the lake. read more

We went to this restaurant after a lot of research and were not totally satisfied. We got the clam chowder and 1 1/2 lobster dinner. The chowder was good and then our lobster dinner came....we were very disappointed! First of all the lobster was cut up, we were not given a whole boiled lobster! The tails looked much smaller than they should have been and there was no roe in the body(my husbands favorite part)! The sides were strange so we ordered coleslaw which was awful. The only good thing was the service! read more

The crows nest restaurant in Warwick, RI is the place to go for authentic New England seafood! The menu is extensive and the prices are extremely reasonable. My family has been going there for years and just had a celebration of life event there yesterday for my mom. I can't say enough about the professionalism of the staff. The servers, Malik and Shannon were absolutely perfect! A special thank you to Charlene for her help in making a very difficult and emotional event for me and my family into an afternoon of relaxation. read more

The food is great and the staff is polite. The crowd is over 60. I won't go back just because of the age of the patrons.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is fresh and the portions are huge.

My mother and I decided to go to Crow's Nest for an early dinner for my late birthday present. I ordered the chicken Marsala with the mash potatoes and butternut squash. Also, my mother and I end up sharing some clams casino and I would like to say they still make the best chicken Marsala and the clams casino were delicious and I will be going back there again very soon. read more

I got the the swordfish kabob..very tasty to say the least. Calamari was good as well. Survice was fast and pleasant. I would definately go back. read more

My wife and I just went on July 3rd. See her review. Lois was great as was the food and as she said it was a bit dated in terms of decor. Ignore the review commenting on the blue hairs. (Jean R. should show respect) They know good food and value from experience! We will go back for sure. They could update the place and bring in a younger crowed but they are obviously doing something right to be pretty full at 3 on a Wednesday and a short wait for people by the time we left. Clams Casino were fantastic and my vegetarian wife loved her Veggie lasagna. We brought plenty of food home with us as well. read more

All of the food was hot and portions were good as was the service. Will def return. A good sign of good food is that there is always a wait. That many people cant be that wrong. The place did not dissapoint. The drinks were well made, the food was good and the porions were generous... Tucked away down the road off of Post Rd. but not hard to find! read more

Pretty good raw bar. Enjoyed the chowder but I've been here several times and the clam cakes sometimes taste like...well...not clam cakes. I think they cooked them in oil for other food about 50% of the times I've been there. Really friendly servers and good prices, though. read more

We were looking for a seafood restaurant and found an ad for this place in our hotel's info book. We never would have found this place since it's set off the main road so advertising pays off! What a great place and with pretty reasonable prices for seafood! Everything we had was delicious but I really enjoyed the lobster roll and the Manhattan clam chowder. Both tasted so fresh and homemade. The server was knowledgeable and professional. The decor was casual nautical. If you're in the area be sure to find this place! read more

Most reviews are pretty accurate for this great local gem. Cozy cute and cheap. Visiting from Pittsburgh and we were stunned at the amount of amazing food we got for a relatively cheap price. Appetizer, soup, salad, 2 sides for each meal a stuffed lobster and stuffed chicken and 2 cocktails each all for $80 bucks. It was a great meal with a great view. Might be back for lunch tomorrow. read more

Old people ville, so so menu, nothing special. Wait staff was super friendly though. Our food was decent but not note worthy. Better options available read more

Absolutely the most amazing food you will have. I love the hospitality you receive from not just your waitperson but, every employee there. The dining areas are so cozy you feel like you're at home. The bar area definitely feels like you're at a bar though. This place gets so packed so make a reservation. My family and I love coming here a lot . read more

Country girl from Ky with hubby visiting my son and gkids, we ALL loved the Crows nest! I had baked scrod Newburg, with broc casserole awesome. Kid had fried shrimp (huge!) and fried seafood platter LOTS OF FOOD FOR BOTH KIDS. DIL got shrimp Alfredo and son another fried seafood platter which again was amazing and a lot of food. Loved our waiter, he was very attentive with a great attitude! If back in RI, we will definitely be back read more

We traveled from CT. to this restaurant which we found on Yelp..we wanted seafood..our waitress.Kris. was amazing especially since my husband had a million questions...what she didn't know she found out for us...my lobster roll and clam chowder was delicious..my husband had steamers .loved them..clams on a half shell was not worth the money. 7 dime size clams for $10. .the baked stuff shrimp was awesome ..was very juicy not dried out like most places ...the coffee was excellent..I had 3 cups who is very unusual for me. Over all it was worth the trip and we will definitely go back...hopefully Kris will be our waitress again. read more

The 3-star average doesn't do this place justice - great location, great service and excellent food. The variety was great, and the seafood we had was phenomenal. -1 star for just not the best chowder (tried both red and white), but it wasn't bad. Fish & chips, fried clams, etc were great. The real highlight was the clam cakes. About the best I can remember having, anywhere anytime. Everyone left happy and full. read more

Awesome place for a drink and or food. The people here were so friendly. I was looking for some good seafood and this place hit the spot. I had the lobster roll and clam chowder very good. The employees were very kind. It is a little older of a crowd but it is definitely a place to go if u want a nice atmosphere and good food. read more

Good seafood and a great value. Tw clam chowder is outstanding as are the fried seafood dishes . This place gets very busy on the weekend so make sure you phone ahead to get on the list. The only thing I can really knock on this place is their inability to attract a younger crowd. I always feel like I am the youngest person in the place. If you have an AARP car you will feel right at home. read more

First off the fried clams were very good...full not just strips. The New England clam chowder was an 8 out 10 and served with a hot fresh roll. Good flavor and better than most. My waitress was engaged and friendly. Not so much for the hostess/greeter who was very unfriendly when I approached her for a table. The prices also are a little high...these two reason kept me from giving a 5 star rating. Wou.ld I come back again, probably if in the area read more

Eat here. If you're in Rhode Island for any period of time, you must visit this place. It's delicious. Lobster roll is a must.

Received a gift card to this restaurant so my husband and I went with our son. While we did see a few other families with young children there, this is definitely a place for the more established crowd (ie over 40) and is definitely a local's place. Our server was very good; very helpful when I was trying to decide what to order and very patient. She was busy so often times we had to ask for refills, etc., but again, she was busy. We ordered calamari which was quite tasty, even if it did take a while to come out (cook time of well over 20 minutes). My husband ordered fish and chips and my son ordered his typical chicken fingers and fries. Both were beer battered and DELICIOUS. DEFINITELY try their fish and chips. I wanted scallops, but their baked scallops were bay scallops and I prefer sea scallops, so I didn't order. (Sad.) However, the server did tell me in advance because she said most people want sea scallops so she always lets people know just in case. I'd think they'd get sea scallops to add to the menu if that is true, but I digress. I ordered medium rare tuna with Cajun spices and a pepper jelly. The baked potato was very hard and didn't seem fully cooked but the green beans were quite tasty. The tuna was well done and I did alert the server who immediately took it back. It came out medium rare the next time and she apologized, even though it wasn't her fault. She explained the owner isn't used to cooking tuna (it's a seafood restaurant...??) and didn't originally want to offer varying temps but his staff convinced him to. Once I received the properly cooked tuna it was tasty, but unfortunately, my family had already eaten all their food. Overall, I give it three stars because while the food was decent, it wasn't anything spectacular that I can't get at 20 other places in RI and the crowd just wasn't for younger families/folks. read more

On a whim, in the area, we stopped at Crows Nest. Good food, good prices, nice ambiance and friendly welcome and service. We were very pleasantly surprised! read more

My husband ordered the cheesesteak with mushrooms and grilled onions which looked great. I tried the lobster salad roll which was recommended by a longtime Rhode Islander. It was good, but a little too much celery for my taste. The fries were hot and the service was fast, but not friendly. The server was short with us which I did not enjoy. They do not offer free refills on soda, which surprised us both so they gave us water instead. read more

The bartenders are really nice to locals. That's what makes a great bar. The seafood is the best around. Keep it up, Crow's Nest.

A very nice place to dine, the view overlooking the Marina is wonderful, the food is delicious... Get the boiled Lobster you'll love it! The Clam Chowder (white) is really good and the desserts are wonderful, service was great (even when they were very busy) and the server was friendly as well as the staff... We really enjoyed our dining experience, we'll be back for more! read more

Came up from the NY/CT border for a conference , everyone local said "go to the crows nest" for seafood. We found it authentic , very friendly , and refreshing. The food was also generous, flavorful and reasonable. I had the seafood sauté which had 4 lobster claws , shrimp scallops, clams in a Manhattan style broth. All the staff were super friendly. If you like supporting the great local spots than this one is for you! read more

Web-site says back from vacation on Feb. 4th. Arrived for dinner on the 7th and sign on building says closed thru the 11th. Disappointing.

It's a great casual seafood place. The wait staff is friendly. The food is good. The food is mostly fried or well buttered. Seems to cater to an older customer base. Overall it's a good place to get seafood. read more

This is a good place to take your grandmother, definitely caters to an older clientele. Small portions available. Diner like ambiance. If I went again, I would try the sandwiches instead of seafood. read more

I have been here many times over the years. Great place for seafood. Their lobster salad, calamari, stuffies & chowder are all delicious. Service at the bar is very slow though. read more

Party of three this time. The staff is always extremely polite, the place is always clean and it is always very busy. Stuffed Quahog (clam) is great. They call them "Stuffies". It is a load of chopped clams, some breading and some seasoning all baked in a large clam shell. I have tried them plain, with lemon, hot sauce, and with cocktail sauce. I prefer them with the lemon squeezed on them. You can order one or more. Be careful as they are smoking hot when they get to the table. New England Clam Chowder is to die for. Absolutely great. Lobster roll anyone? Take a torpedo roll and cram it till it is way overstuffed with lobster. The roll has a very small amount of lettuce on it, the lobster has a very small amount or celery and mayo. This sandwich is all about the lobster. Huge hunks on top of huge hunks. I end up here 1-3 times annually with 1-3 people in tow and it never changes. Great food, great service, great food. read more

On a family trip around New England we have specifically sought out restaurants that are out of the way and not chains. We were searching for a place to eat on our last night of the trip and came across the Crows Nest. We decided to stop there because their menu showed a good variety and they sit right on a marina, and were well pleased with our decision. The "stuffies" were delicious, the stuffed mushrooms were also very well made. The fish & chips were huge with flaky fried fish. The chowders made all the meals. The shrimp scampi was cooked to perfection. And last, but not least, the wait staff was superb. Since we're not from the area, our waitress, Julie, was very helpful to explain the menu and make recommendations. For anyone traveling in this part of Rhode Island, you should make a stop at the Crows Nest. read more

Delicious food reasonable prices. The stuffed lobster is the best around. My favorite place by far!!

Went for lunch. Service was great, calamari and clam casino great. Fish and chips great. We will be back. Moderately priced

Awful experience on a Saturday night. Told the wait was 30 minutes which turned in an hour and ten minutes. Both of my kids ordered the chowder and 3 clam cakes. Both chowders had very little flavor as the manhattan one just tasted like tomato soup and New England chowder had no flavor. Never going back, there are too many places that have better service and better food. Never mind being lied to about the wait. read more

a good meal for a good price. seafood is a specialty here. service is quick, cheerful and always willing to help. My only wish is as a small local restaurant the could carry at least one local beer even if only in a bottle. dogfish head ipa is a great beer but we have many great ipa's made right hear in RI. read more

The best lobster roll in New England. And I've tried a lot of 'em ! Have the half lobster roll/chowder combo....

My husband and I went here for the first time on Wednesday evening and had dinner. It would be a 5-star review except the décor is a bit outdated. Lois, our waitress, was fantastic! Very friendly and accommodating, she was a pleasure! My husband had the clams casino and a grilled cheese. He really enjoyed the clams, they are probably his 2nd favorite from anywhere (he is a connosuier, he gets them everywhere he goes!). I had the broccoli & cheese potato skins, which were very good; I also had the baked vegetable lasagna, which came with garlic bread and a salad for $9.95! It was a huge piece, and excellent! We will definitely be back when we are in the area, well worth the visit. read more

I have been going here for years and have sampled many items on the menu, all of which are awesome. The one thing that my whole family and i get EVERY time though is the lobstah roll. Describing it with words can't do it justice, just go try it for yourself. Your stomach will be full and more then satisfied. read more
