We explained he drives for work and is was necessary to have the interim license immediately. The staff was very understanding and cordial. The representative explained we would need to wait for the appointments to be assisted first. Fortunately, we were in and out in less than 30 minutes with all transactions completed. The space is very clean and streamlined. Management must be very nice because all the staff we saw looked happy and approachable. The representative who assisted us was very knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. He was very compassionate when hubby explained he lost his wallet. When we contacted the travel agent, Victoria, she informed us that they could only refund the taxes, and that the cruise company would need to process the refund. We reached out to MSC Cruises, who confirmed that they could not refund the money since the booking was made through a travel agency, but exceptions could be made if we provided discharge papers and a letter from the surgeon. However, despite months of calling and emailing, we haven't received any solution. The travel agent tried to help by contacting MSC, but even after waiting on hold for 3 hours and sending emails, we didn't receive any response. When I spoke to the owner/manager, LUISA, she became angry and unprofessional, yelling at me and refusing to take responsibility. She even suggested that we should have taken trip insurance. As a customer, I feel disrespected and frustrated by the lack of professionalism and compassion. I hope others are more careful when booking travel with Smile Travel.I had a bad experience with Smile Travel, so I caution others to be careful.
