The owner Carl was very unprofessional. He failed to show up multiple times on the days he said he would show up and kept on postponing time after time. Unprofessional communication. Dark brown stain patches where too much sealant on areas that we tried getting rid of, but we can't. Ruined the facia around the bottom of our home where the sealant was sloppily applied and has now left a permanent stain around the entirety of the bottom facia. We also tried getting rid of that, but that will require sanding and repainting. Left large areas between pavers with no sand. Moss growing in between pavers, over half of the driveway space after 2 months. Asked company to come back and will not. read more

Initially the scheduled date was pushed back, Crown was proactive in reaching out to let us know, which was good. Then they didn't show up for the 2nd rescheduled date and I had to reach out to find out why. Though not professional, that was fine and not too big of a deal. The poor experience came through when they accidentally put a significant dent in our front gutter. The poor experience was less to do with this accident... these things happen, even if they didn't proactively own it. The poor experience had to do with the complete lack of professionalism in their response when we were attempting to rectify. They came back out to take another look to try fix unsuccessfully, so they didn't leave it completely unaddressed. Unfortunately from that point onward the experience degraded quickly. When asking next steps to rectify there were responses that were basically along the lines of just live with it, shirking off any form of responsibility. Responses like "It doesn't look that noticeable to me unless you're laser focused looking for it" and "let's be real here..." when asking about solutions to replace the section. Based on past reviews seems like they generally do a great job, but if things don't go off without a hitch they're unwilling to take any real form of responsibility and don't treat customers with respect. read more

A salesman from Crown Property Services came by our house inquiring whether we wanted to have the exterior of our gutters washed, the inside of the gutters & roof cleaned. He also said that the roof would be chemically treated to kill any moss, prevent its return & provide a 2 years guarantee for it. As sceptical that I am, I'd booked an appointment for his aforementioned services in a weeks time. I'd later "googled" Crown Property Services for reviews. From his website, there were great reviews, while I'd found 2 bad reviews on yelp. Who or what to believe, it's like reading any other reviews. I'd subsequently spoke to Carl, Crown Property Services owner respecting my concerns of the variation of the reviews & requested some addresses of properties that he had done, similar to the work that I'm having him do for me, to which he provided. Carl came on time as scheduled. His employee cleaned the inside of the gutters, while Carl cleaned the roof. Upon finishing the inside of the gutters, the employee proceeded to wash the gutters' exterior. When they finished, I had a cursory looked at the job & it looked fine. I'd paid & they left. I later took a closer look at the 2 sides & back gutters, which were cleaner than before, but not as clean as the lower front gutter. The roof was also not cleaned as I'd expected. That evening I'd emailed Carl of my findings & expressed my concerns & displeasure. Carl replied shortly advising that he will come back tomorrow morning to address my concerns. Carl was at my residence at 9 AM. Carl concurred that his employee didn't do the job as well as he could have & that he would rewash the 2 outer sides & back gutters again. Carl also went back up the roof & to address my concerns respecting the cleanliness of the roof. Carl called me back that evening & asked if I had a chance to look what he had done. I'd advised him that the gutters were fine & that I'd get back to him about the roof. Today, I'd checked the roof & am happy to say that Carl did a good job addressing my concerns respecting the cleanliness of the roof. I recently (April 2019) used the services of this company and their service was incredibly sloppy with no regard for my personal property. It wasn't just one thing but a list of failures. They were supposed to arrive at 1:30 and they arrived at 4 pm. We contracted them to do moss removal and clean the gutters.They were done in an hour but there is still moss on the roof and it starting growing back after one month, the treatment was supposed to be effective for a few years. We engaged Crown Property Services to remove the needles from our roof and gutters and clean the skylights. The Tech was confident navigating around on our recycled rubber roof. He did a good job of removing all the needles that were blown off by putting them in bags and not my garden. Much appreciated as the last two companies we tried left us with a mess. Had a representative come to our house and offered their services. Organized to have our windows washed. They told us they would email us/call us ahead of time to arrange a time in which to perform this service. They did not call ahead or attempt to contact us in any way to let us know they were coming. They arrived when no one was home, and just begun working. We had begun painting our exterior, and there was damage to the painting work that we had done, as well as moisture on part of the house that we were in the middle of preparing for painting. If we had been notified, we could have arranged a better time to have this work completed, as well as closed some windows in order for the work to be done properly without risking having our interior getting wet. I'm absolutely flabbergasted that work would have been done without properly notifying us, and allowing us time to prepare our home for the work. This was absolutely ridiculous.
