They patched it up then came back in the slow season to finish off. I don't know if they were expensive since it's the first time I've had to call a roofer and I've no idea how complicated the work was. But they were easy to deal with; office staff and roofers were very pleasant and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I would recommend.

Beware! Tom, the owner, agreed to clean my house gutters and downpipes. He agreed to put all…read moregutter debris in my garbage bin which I provided to him. I advised him of the gutter downpipes was not draining properly and he said he would look after that. I am a senior with low vision so trusted him to do what he said he would do. Unfortunately that is not what happened. He and his helper dumped most of the gutter debris onto of my already cleaned flowerbeds. I had to call him twice to get him back to clean up the gutter debris he dumped on my flower beds. At that time I showed him again that the same gutter down pipe was still not draining properly. He said he would look after cleaning it out but he did not clean the down pipe out. I have attached a video to show that the same down pipe is still not draining properly and in a rainfall the water is gushing out over the top. I sent this video in an email to Tom asking him to arrange to come back and clean out the gutter down pipe. He did not reply to my email so I called him. He acknowledged receiving my email but became very confrontational saying that cleaning the gutter down pipes was not included in the gutter cleaning service. He wants to charge for coming back to clean the down pipe. He over talked me and hung up the phone on me. I find his behaviour very unprofessional and untrustworthy. L. Hulbert P.S. I was unable to upload the video. Water gushing up and over top of down pipe was so loud I could hear it from inside my house.

In September I hired Shack Shine to clean the exterior of my home. The company rescheduled my…read moreappointment on very short notice moving it a day earlier than originally planned and because I was at work with windows open on one side of the house, the technician said he would return the next day to finish. When I came home, the siding, windows, and soffit were still dirty. Several windows had visible spots, a slug streak, and bird droppings. I marked the problem windows with sticky notes, but even after three visits they were never cleaned. I managed to clean the slug streaked window myself. The siding also remained unfinished, and an outside window sill at the front of my home was partially broken from the pressure washing, which I had to repair at my own expense. We arranged another visit for a Saturday, but the technician never showed and I received no call. After raising my concerns again, I was told the owner (Martin) would contact me. He eventually came, (November) an hour late, agreed the work was incomplete, and said the house needed to be redone. Since then--I have heard nothing back despite reaching out, including to ask whether soffit cleaning should be postponed due to winter temperatures. It's now December since the initial service, and I have repeatedly had to chase this company with little regard for my time or the quality of work. Based on this experience, neither I nor my family and friends will be using or recommending Shack Shine again. I will also be taking my holiday lighting business elsewhere. Photos, including the damaged window sill are attached as well as coming home to find the water tap left on. The company has received all these photos and are aware of my concerns and choose to do nothing. Overall, I don't feel a homeowner should have to repeatedly check the work to ensure it's cleaned properly. A customer should be able to trust that the job will be completed correctly the first time or make it right if it wasn't.

Highly recommended, and available on short notice!…read more Two lovely ladies arrived exactly on time for a desperately needed deep clean. The job they did was nothing short of miraculous. Despite the high temperatures, they worked very hard for about 6 hours straight. They cleaned my fridge including all the jars and disposing of older food. They cleaned the floors well, they wiped off cloth furniture to remove any lint and hair. They cleaned the oven, cleaned the walls, scrubbed our shower on hands and knees, and cleaned the windows inside and out. Furniture surfaces were dusted and cleaned, and all items were removed to do that. They even cleaned the inside of my garbage and recycling containers. They were courteous and friendly, asked questions when needed, but were quite capable of making decisions themselves. They seemed to automatically do more vs. less when in doubt. And... they were available on short notice. What more can I say? Not sure what happened in the past, but if they weren't good before, they must have learned from those experiences. These two were awesome! Can't recommend them enough.

I have used cleaning services weekly in downtown Vancouver for over 16 years and have never encountered a company that did this. Promised to deliver linen back to the unit, and have since notified me last minute on the day of that it could not be delivered for two days. They have lost a significant amount of my linen and told me to claim insurance on my end as they failed to count my linen before hand and claimed that this is then my issue.
