The shishito peppers were so sweet and tangy in the bacon jelly and cheese and oozed with goodness! The steak and chicken were such a great combo to share between my husband and I with both being such different profiles of taste and actually complimented one another. The steak itself was absolutely perfect and the bread under soaked up all those juices so you didn't have to lick the plate after (great ingenuity when dining out :)) The desserts were fantastic but the star of the show was def the raspberry blondie. It was everything I imagined and more. The perfect sweet and tart mixed in a bowl with spoons ... thank you for not plating this - I felt like I was at home about to sit on the couch and indulge in something I created. Perfect experience, perfect presentation and to top it off their restaurant is surrounded by their farm. Tomatoes, jalapeños, peaches, peppers, micro greens, greens, herbs..... with everything going on today in this world and every thing being recalled this is a place I can stand behind doing it the right way! Service the phenomenal, food was perfection and atmosphere was next to none.... Thank you so much for such an amazing dinner out!

I asked the guy standing by the register for one and he walked me over to them. The heavy duty one? he asked. No, I said, the light-duty version. He took it from the hanger and held it out toward me. Then I saw the price hanging right there in front of us both. SIX DOLLARS AND, LIKE, NINTY-SEVEN CENTS! For ONE?! (Disregard the website price, totally. In-store it's $6.97!) Wait, WHAT?! I told him there was NO WAY I would pay that much! and I left. I drove directly to a Home Depot. I bought TWO of them for $2.97 EACH! Even after taxes, I paid less for two than they wanted for just one and that's BEFORE taxes! On the drive back home, I promised myself I would NOT be installing one of those new switches until I first posted this review. Promise made, promise kept! Time to install my $2.97 switch now!

The last two times I stood there patiently while you answered phones, left to go retrieve carts, and handle other duties without a simple hello. For a smaller local store, you've got to do better. October 28, 2026 My…read moreexperience at Gus Block Ace Hardware on Ridge Road today was deeply disturbing. It felt like stepping back into 1940s Alabama. I was standing in line waiting to check out, with other customers behind me. When a customer walked away from the register, a woman bypassed the entire line and walked straight to the register as though the rest of us didn't exist. There were four other Black customers and me standing there, yet neither she nor the cashier acknowledged the people who had been waiting in line. What made this experience especially upsetting was the cashier's complete silence. No acknowledgment, no attempt to maintain the line, and no recognition that several customers had been waiting their turn. I felt Black customers were invisible and undeserving of the same basic courtesy afforded to others. If you want to experience what it feels like to be ignored and treated as though you don't matter, Ace is the place

The delivery was okay up until I watched the delivery guys notice that the stove has a ding in the stainless steel on the side of the control panel. I watched them observe the damage and try to do things to make it look unnoticeable from my window. Of course they continue to bring the stove into my house and set it up like nothing ever happen. They never mention the damage hoping I wouldn't notice it. I never said anything because I needed the stove badly for the cooking holiday dinner and my last 1 year old stove caught fire in my house so I didn't have time to waste on getting another one delivered. It was cosmetic damage and didn't effect the performance of the stove. I had to mention this so others are aware on how shady these delivery people can be so can't trust them. Make sure you go over your delivery and watch them like hawk from time they are taking the product off the truck until the time they want to sign off on a successful delivery.
