We built our new home in 2009 and I was dreading the process of picking out so many light fixtures,…read moreit seemed overwhelming and I had no idea were to begin since this was my first experience doing anything like this. I had driven by Light Source Lighting in Plano many times and it was very eye catching from the road. I went in one day and was greeted by Eric Schaefer. I described our home and he showed me around the beautiful showroom then began pulling catalogs for fixtures he thought would fit our style. Once I began working with him, it quickly became my favorite part of building our home. I still love my lighting after all these years! Since our home, we have done several other, larger projects. I always look forward to the stage of picking out the lighting, it is my favorite part of the building/renovating process. I have never gone anywhere else besides Light Source Lighting and never will with future projects. Eric, and the other associates, are experts, knowing what catalogs to pull as I describe to them what I am looking for. I refer everyone I know who is looking for the perfect light fixtures, whether for one room or a large project, to Light Source Lighting. They have a huge range of styles so anyone can walk into their showroom and take advantage of their expertise to find just the right fixtures for any kind of project. I whole heartedly recommend Light Source Lighting!

I used to like country decorating, do not judge me, it was in style. I no longer do but two lamps…read morehad escaped banishment until now. Today was "find the perfect lamps day." We had previously done this for the bedroom so we had a route planned - department stores, furniture stores then Oakbrook. This previously successful route resulted in nothing. Nada. Zilch. Going south on 355 I had a vague memory of a lighting store in Orland Park just off 159th. We arrived and I noticed it was now an outlet store. EVEN BETTER! The salesman explained how it worked and we found two new lamps for the bedroom, deciding to move the new bedroom lamps to the living room. Then my husband dropped a bombshell on me - he had always hated the floor lamps in the entry and living room. Good thing we are in lamp heaven here! We went home with 4 lamps for less than we had paid for the two bedroom lamps. No country lamps anywhere to be found in our house and plenty of good light. Score! Here's looking at you kid, and seeing you clearly!

We give Littmen's a big thumbs up!…read more After purchasing our home last year, it was time to update all the outdated lighting.  I thought it would be an easy process to just order online. Nope!  The more I looked the harder it became because I wasn't sure of fixture sizes to buy for our spaces. Our electrician suggested we go to Littmen Bros. Interiors. What a great suggestion!! From the moment we walked in the door we were so excited to see all the beautiful fixtures in person. We met and worked with Lisa who is outstanding. We showed Lisa pictures of all our existing fixtures  and provided room measurements to give her an idea  of the scale.   She said this will be fun! She gave us ideas on sizes to consider. Everything I liked initially was way to small.  Lisa was fantastic making sure we ordered the perfect size for each space. We purchased 5 fixtures: A foyer 12 drop amazing fixture, 2 lights for the cat walk which are gorgeous and look fantastic with the foyer lighting, a beautiful hand made crystal candelabra chandelier for the dinning room and a large two tone  round fixture for the laundry room. We couldn't be happier with our purchase! We are so grateful we found Lisa because she made the process fun and easy.  Our house looks fabulous!! We highly recommend Lisa and Littmen Bros. Interiors.

One of the ladies (sorry I didn't get her name!) was extremely helpful helping me pick out a light for our tiny condo kitchen reno; I explained what I wanted and after looking at their wall displays she offered to get me a binder of other options they'd be happy to order for me. I wound up selecting something they had on display, and she was kind enough to ask one of the guys to take down the display model for me since I didn't want to wait for one to be shipped. This is a great time of year for renovations, since they had a sale going--I was given 25% of the cost of my lighting figure!
