My daughter had crown moulding done throughout most of her house. Because I was impressed with the craftmanship, the timely crafted details , the finishing touch it makes each room look polished. And so I hired Trevor. Trevor is very easy to work with (I sent room measurements and photos and a description of the product.) We agreed on a day/time, price (reasonable) and it took two days to complete. 1 day of placing the Molding in three bedrooms and a second day to paint. i really like Trevor's work and I highly recommend him. I was very satisfied with the installation done by Trevor at Crown Moulding Designs. It was just one room, but it had challenges due to wavy drywall and non-square corners. Trevor made adjustments so the crown molding looks straight and square. The joints are glued together and look excellent. I needed to touch up the paint myself, but that was our agreement. I would definitely use Trevor again if I decide to add more crown molding. read more

We have had the fortune to have Trevor, the owner and installer of "Crown Molding Designs" out three times. Back in July a year ago to install the crown molding in our entry, living room and dining room. The next time we had him out was to remove the and install new six new window ledges and case in the six windows of the three rooms he had previously installed the crown molding. Today, we had him back out to install the crown molding in my wife's sewing room. Every single time, and I mean every time, Trevor did and amazing, professional and superb job for us. He has always been on time, always cleaned up after himself and always gave us a very fair and reasonable price. He comes to your place with his truck that is totally self-contained with every tool and saw to do the job required. Every single time he laid out tarps in the rooms to protect the floors and always asked me to inspect the job when finished to make sure it was to my satisfaction. Trevor is a perfectionist and did a fantastic job in our home. He understood what we wanted and everything looks beautiful. We bought a new home, he added crown moulding and also added trim/cased out the windows (the windows were just drywall no sill or anything). I've been in new construction for 13 years and I've seen some horrible work out there and Trevor blew it out of the park. I was really disappointed by this experience. I reached out because I read all these good reviews and was hopeful that I could get some solid work done. I spoke with Trevor on the phone and said that I was downtown with about a 1000 sq ft condo that needed all new baseboards and casings. On the phone, he asked some questions for which I just didn't have the answers, so I assumed an in person consultation could sort these things out one way or another. After reviewing his schedule, we agreed to have him stop by the following Saturday. There must have been a bit of confusion, because he went to the wrong address (rather, wrong city - same street address) and said he might have to reschedule depending on how long it would take to get from where he was to our place. Whatever, that happens to the best of us and I would have rescheduled if needed. However, when he got to our street, he still cancelled because there would be no parking. After driving farther than necessary, back tracking to the correct location, he still didn't even meet with us to say in person it was a job he couldn't do. I fully understand the tight squeeze that is downtown, but at the same time, I said a week prior that I had a downtown condo. Limited parking comes with living downtown, yet many people seem to manage living and having work done all the same. I wish he would have at least stopped in to say "This just won't work for me" as opposed to doing it over the phone from my street. So, while I can't speak to the quality of work, I can say that cancelling the day of an appointment *at* the appointment location did not leave the best impression. read more
