She didn't help pick any dresses, was pretty negative about my price range etc. BSB was the exact opposite! I had Liv as my stylist and she made me so comfortable and really listened to what I was looking for. The first dress she chose ended up being exactly what I was imagining and in my price range! They had a gorgeous selection and from the time I walked in to the time I left, I had a smile on my face. The whole team made my experience memorable and stress free. I like this 2nd Ave location for their extensive glass wears sections, but it really grinds my gears that they have started selling matching pieces only in full sets. I can totally understand selling in pairs, but 9/10 I don't need a full 6pc set or some random glass wear, and guess what? If I did, I would just buy the three pairs of two. It doesn't make sense to me. Also just as a general observation, 2nd Ave stores have been getting super expensive lately for a chain that operates solely on donations. You mean to tell me a secondhand piece of clothing is $25 when you got it for free? Kindof a rip off. Sure I can complain, but you bet your bottom I'm going to be here at least one Saturday or Sunday every weekend looking for stuff I don't need so LOL. Takeaways: selection is good but prices be whack these days.

Finally a consignment with high quality sweaters in small sizes! The quality of clothing here is gently pre-owned, with some vintage brand names sprinkled throughout. I was excited to find a few of my favorite European brands here too. The prices reflect the quality, e.g. if you're buying silver you're paying for silver. I will say that the furs are a bit of a deal considering that they don't smell like they've absorbed 30 years of smoke the fur lays smooth, and still they have all their buttons. The men's section is decent too with more American vintage brands, made to last. Lots of fun silk ties and sashes, and plenty of sporting coats for all of your scholarly needs. The one thing I didn't like about this shop was the young customers! Loudly complaining about the prices, and minor defects in some of the clothes. Most of the items in this shop are statement pieces or items designed to last. You are not going to find prices akin to temu or shein for well made items! (With the exception of the $1 t-shirt rack...) This is a well curated consignment shop. Leaving 4 stars because I didn't get to explore the second half of the store full of home decor! I'll be back again.

They also have decent jewelry- a very expensive antique look for inexpensive prices. Not sure about clothing selection, but the shoes and jewelry areas were nice.
