Our wine, pastas (stuffed ravioli with sage butter sauce and pasta with aubergines and tomatoes) were fabulous. The ambiance was great, quiet, slightly off the main area, and cute inside. We were very impressed with the flavors of everything we had, efficiency of good service, and we would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in Lenno looking for a great meal experience!

It was a very hot day and we asked for extra ice for our drinks, which the waitress brought without hesitation. It's a great stop, in fact I think the best stop, if you are looking to eat before/after visiting nearby Villa Balbianello. The food here is well made and reasonably priced. It's not gourmet cuisine nor does it pretend to be. We tried several dishes and everything was well made and delicious. If I was in the area, I'd definitely return. Food: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars Service: 4.5 stars Pro tip: if you are visiting the Villa take the express walkway directly to the restaurant. Our room was extremely well constructed and very clean. The view amazing and the breakfast buffet at Albergo was always fresh and we'll stocked even during peak times, never had to wait for a desirable table either. Nice bar off lobby and large restaurant on site. Also walking distance from ferry on Lake Como, fine dining, casual restaurants and gelato. Sports bar also close and beautiful walking path along the lake. We were on our honeymoon and highly suggest recommend this property.

My wife and I were married in Lake Como on June 29th. Our reception was held at Lido Di Lenno. We…read morearrived by boat from the wedding, although it is possible to walk to it from the street. When we stepped off the boat, there was a grassy area where the staff had hors d'oeuvres set up at a long table with a white tablecloth. There were cute little white wicker furniture sets with tables so the guests could mingle, take pictures, sip Prosecco and look out at the lake. When it was time for dinner, we moved from the grassy area to our tables, which were positioned perpendicular to the lake so everyone had a great view. The dinner was in the marquee - a permanent outdoor area with tile flooring covered by a big white tent. We had the garden half of the marquee to ourselves, so our seating area was adjacent to the grassy garden area where the hors d'oeuvres were served. The sides of the marquee were able to be closed independently so that as the sun was setting, strategic flaps were folded down to prevent the sun from annoying people as they ate while still letting a breeze into the marquee. The champagne was poured just before we were seated, and we had enough of it for everyone's toasts. After the champagne, there was red and white wine for the table. The antipasti we chose was the smoked salmon. It was a huge dish of thinly sliced salmon perfectly smoked and beautifully presented. The primi piatti we selected was a pasta with prawns. The pasta was cooked al dente and the prawns were very light and fresh. The secondi piatti was the beef limousine and vegetables. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare with a pink center and was very tender and juicy. Nothing about our wedding was conventional and we stayed true to that with dessert. Instead of a wedding cake, we selected a special dessert. With a wedding party of 32, there will always be a dish that someone doesn't care for because maybe they don't eat fish or they don't eat meat. But EVERYONE LOVED the chocolate fondue. They brought huge dishes of fruit with skewers and bowls of melted dark chocolate. The staff also brought out espresso. It was the perfect ending to a great meal. We had the area under the tent (the marquee) for as long as we wanted. But after dinner and drinks and long day, some people began to go back to the hotel. We stayed at the Albergo Lenno, which was less than a mile around the lake. It is a beautiful walk and very doable, especially since there are gelateria's along the way. But we also rented a bus for those in need of assistance for one reason or another. Inside the bar area was a dance floor and a local DJ (that we did not have to pay for) who played a great selection of popular songs that you would hear off the radio at home. We danced into the night with the locals and had a blast. They closed around 2am. It is also worth noting that on the other side of the dance floor is a large opening to a beach area. This was a large area with sand and lounge chairs. The kids loved playing in the sand in their wedding clothes .

It wasn't very busy and everyone there was Italian. The waitress didn't speak English and there was no English menu. Our meal was delightful. My husband and I each had a pasta dish. Both were delicious, simple, homestyle italian cooking with very fresh ingredients. It was the perfect first lunch on our vacation. The atmosphere is so relaxing. There is an outdoor terrace with a partial view on the lake and no one else is around because it is not located in a touristy area. Prices were excellent. I wish we could have eaten there again before we left. I definitely recommend it for those who are looking for great authentic casual Italian food. Yum!!

He and his sous chefs Jacob and Michael are true professionals. Lucca was able to adapt to our kitchen without missing a beat. For the cooking class, he taught us how to prepare: fresh pesto, handmade pasta (tagliatelle), branzzino, calamari, bruschetta, mussels and clams, and a beautiful chocolate cake. For the private dinner, he prepared: smoked tuna, octopus salad, seared fish and tiramisu. We also ate at their restaurant which was homely and very local. The menu is not in English, a good sign! Highly recommend eating at their restaurant at the very least!

Amazing!!! What's not to like…read more Being on lake como is already magic. And menaggio! This little island is even more magic. Cute, small, peaceful. And in April! No tourists around. Just local visitors scattered a handful here and there. For lunch, I wanted something unique and homey. This place came highly recommended from the locals. It was hard to find, tucked away behind the front / Main Street restaurants. I actually went into another restaurant in the front of this, which was more on the main road. I sat! I got the menu. It was all English. I knew, I walked away! People here barely speak English. What's the point of being back in Italy if you can't order in Italian? And Menaggio, Bellagio and other island spots here are just that. Very Italian! If you see an English menu, run! Tourist trappppp. And it was tourist trap with crap menu! Crap basis! So back to this little heaven was amazing. The old lady that runs this place was so nice. I was the second table! It was the end of lunch time. Her son is the chef: young (22-24 I believe? ). They were just so nice. Make me feel like I was eating at my family's restaurant! Minus 20-30 Italians fighting over to feed you :D Food! Pasta tonne! The tuna pasta! It's something you won't find in US. Sicily you can't eat it cause too salty. The coastal town down south: hit or miss. But central Italia! They do it so well. It's creamy, tomatoy rich spaghetti tonne/tune! So good!! The potatoes with olive oil and rosemary: yes! Prosciutto di parma pre pasta: definitely!! And bistecca: it's quite common to find kinds of steak on menu in Lake como/ little towns. All over Como actually. It was a little over cooked for my taste but I still love it. It's the vibe! Oh and I had this pretty purple dress with long ass train on for absolutely no good reason.. but matches the whole purple/lavender vibe of this place. So that's a win! I also got a carafe of their house white/ it's lunch! And it's perfect with tuna. Of course, espresso & a cappuccino ( yes, it's a breakfast drink but whatever)! Dolce far niente meal! Absolutely worth trekking all over menaggio in my 5 inch heels for this! Or sitting at a restaurant before this on Main Street.. got water and dashed because it was an English menu with zero Italians working there! Either way, it was a perfectly sweet lunch! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in this part of Lago di Como!
