We ended up finding a different dentist who charged my wife $1,200 for the exact same thing. When we called New Horizons to cancel her appointment there, we were asked why we were canceling. We brought up the price and were told that they never ran her insurance and that she was being charged also for a surgical procedure. They wanted us to come back to them, but we won't be going there ever again. Lord knows who else they just neglected to actually run their insurance for.

They even have a new addition - Ralph, a mini golden doodle who is being trained to be a therapy dog to help patients to calm them and lay on their laps during cleanings and procedures! I called Suburban Family Dental and told them about my situation. I had been waiting weeks for a filling and then suddenly my old dentist cancelled my appointment. This office was able to accomodate my situation and get me in as a new patient within just a few days. I was able to get the filling I had been waiting for and it was totally painless. Since I have used them for my regular cleanings I have had no cavities. The hygienists have always been gentle. The woman who is the receptionist is way more than a receptionist. She is great about getting you an appointment when you need one, she has done a fitting for me for a mouth guard and she helped me pick an insurance plan out that would be friendly with their office.
