I told him that I was almost 70 years old with both cancer and diabetes and that I only wished to have conservative dental treatment unless I was in discomfort. He then insisted that I have the treatment and stated perhaps I did not understand. I told him I was an educated man who understood perfectly well but denied such treatment. He then tried to cajole me saying then they might not be the right dentist for me. I agreed and left, never to return. In my view, Dr. Siu was arrogant and pompous and I would not recommend him.

However this did not go away after a week, and I went back in to the dentist. An assistant attempted to grind my teeth to be more even as unevenness of bite was the suspected issue - unfortunately the assistant ground my lower gum and more pain ensued. I returned again because the pain chewing on the right side and the intense sensitivity to hot and cold was intolerable. Dr. Perison recommended an Endodontis at that time, who has been working with writer since December with no results as of yet - chewing pain and instense sensitivity to hot and cold on right side continue unabated. I will not be returning to Dr. Perison's practice due to the extensive complications created by a run of the mill initial procedure.

Instead, I was seen by a general dentist who simply told me what I already knew about my condition and was unable to provide the treatment I was scheduled for. The most frustrating part: no treatment was done, no resolution was provided, and I was still charged $175. The entire experience felt misleading and unnecessary.
