One thing to note is that it doesn't get hot enough in yoga to my liking- temperature also depends on each instructor. The locker area and bathroom/showers are also pristine! Cut and Flow sells grippy socks and lululemon clothes in the front. Don't forget to bring your own grippy socks to your first Xformer class, or you can purchase one at the studio. Their new client special is a great deal. One unlimited month for $99 which includes a free pair of grippy socks and free mat/towel rental. As of 9/11/24 there's also Xformer instructor in training classes which cost $15 per class! A drop in Xformer class typically cost $35.

I found all the yoga instructors to be really helpful and classes were moderately paced. Bring your own yoga mat, towel to place on the mat, and another to wipe your sweat. I appreciated their showers in the locker room because you leave class really super detoxed and dripping with sweat. The studio and locker rooms are always kept clean. Their classes are notably hotter than other hot yoga studios- if you are completely new to hot yoga, I recommend starting with another studio with a lower temp. or yin classes (meditation/light stretching in a non heated class). There is parking right next to the building, which is really nice.

Grant and Kirk are very detailed during the initial evaluations of each client, both are extremely knowledgeable about how to address muscle dysfunction. I am excited to say that I leave my training sessions with Grant, a little bit sore but very satisfied. My muscles are sore, I've worked up a good sweat, and I'm proud that I pushed through another workout. One of the reasons I picked Grant over someone at my local gym is that he has numerous certifications and continuing education. He keeps up on fitness techniques and nutrition. He's given me some great ideas for healthy eating. He's very positive and motivating. And he's great at gearing your workout to your goals and health issues. I like the personal attention and the privacy of his gym. I've been seeing Grant for a year and a half now and am glad that I found him through a reference from a friend. I can say that I am definitely in much less pain and have lost 20 pounds in the process. I am more fit, healthy, and happy. I plan on continuing my workout sessions with Grant to loose 40 more pounds.
