I've been to many gyms in the area including: Humanity, Invictus, RSD, Victory, Hardcore Fitness, Fortius. I would give this gym more than 5 stars if I could. If you're thinking about joining a gym, join Crossfit Flashbang. I absolutely love this place and everything and especially everyone about it. It truly is like a family. Once you get started here, trust me, you wont stop. I went from having my own entire gym set up on my side yard, to selling pretty much all my gear and only going to this gym. I've had my own gear for about a couple of years or maybe even more and I've followed many programs like, the basic bodybuilding split, HWPO and what was my favorite, Functional Bodybuilding by Marcus Filly. I always felt like I was missing something even though I was following a program but coming to this gym fixed that. It's something about coming to this gym that makes fitness 1000 times better. You push yourself more. You want to get better. You have that friendly competition and build a bond and a relationship with everyone and everyone pushes each other. The best part is the loud music (especially the metal to really get you going) and also the coaches walking around helping you with form and also amping you up to push you harder and harder. The coaches truly care and will push you to your best capabilities within reason. I feel like they closely watch your progression and know what you can and can't do which pushes you even more because they will push you to do a higher level or add on just 5 more pounds. Every workout leaves me with that "workout-high" feeling, which is absolutely amazing. The type of feeling that I would not have gotten had I stayed at home and worked out. I love showing up, crushing it, and be done. The schedule is perfect before work, after work, and after the kids go to school and the programming is even better to fully progress you and make you feel better. I have been doing CrossFit for 4 years now and my original gym set the bar pretty high. But after making the commute for 4 years, I knew it was time to find something closer to home. The commute was no longer working with my schedule. It was a very difficult decision, but I'm so glad that I stepped foot into Flashbang. From the moment I stepped in the gym I was instantly welcomed, and I could feel, the tight nit community that this gym offered and it felt very familiar to my old gym. The coaches genuinely care about each member and that is something that was super important to me. The owners have definitely poured themselves and their passion into this gym and you can feel that. All of the members have been very welcoming and encouraging. I've been there for about five months now and I am so happy I made the jump. This place is amazing. I'm 35 and not in fantastic shape, reasonably fit but I dropped in on a class as my girlfriends dad goes 3x weekly and they all dragged me kicking and screaming lol (I went easy). Everyone there was super nice and accommodating. The owner kept an eye on me to see all was well and everyone else was super nice and supportive throughout the routine. I did a 50% workout as a noob and it kicked my a** in a good way and I felt amazing afterwards. Those devil burpees or whatever are tough! Overall, I it made the holidays out of town more enjoyable and the food at Thanksgiving all that more tasty and worthwhile.
