    Just completed The Camp Transformation Center's Hardbody 6 week challenge and lost 5% of my total body fat.... for FREE!! Can't say enough about how awesome all of the trainers, employees were. Thanks for the experience! I'd highly recommend this challenge for anyone. Just FTDI, do your homework, and come to class! My husband and I will both be back for another round!

    The challenge was to lose 20 pounds in 6 weeks, but I only lost 13 pounds. I was a little bummed about it until I looked at my before and after pictures. I can tell a huge difference! The first 2 weeks was difficult, but now, I get excited to work out in the mornings! I absolutely love this camp. Everyone is so nice and kind! I even became a member! For about 3-4 years, I've struggled to lose weight. I'm just happy that I'm finally able to reach my goal. I still have work to do though. "I think we ain't done yet" *In Marcus Peters voice*

    Camp Transformation in El Cajon, came in to my life at a perfect time! I needed to lose weight and get myself in shape and I needed a program like this to hold me accountable through the process! I was successful in losing 20 lbs in 6 weeks and I couldn't have done it without the amazing support of the owners and staff of The Camp! Next up, The 6 week, Hard Body Challenge! There's no desire to stop progressing! It's an amazing experience and I'm living proof that this program works! Give The Camp a try! It could change your life too!

    I can't believe how great I feel after doing the 21 day challenge for $67... So grateful that I'm now a member! $117 a month and I go Monday through Friday, every morning. That's the best deal for the amazing training you get! At 66 years old I feel better than I've felt in years If you're looking to gain strength and loose weight, this is the place to be!

    Well today was my final check-in and man am I pleased to announce that I successfully completed my challenge! I lost a total of 6.7% body fat in 6 weeks (my goal was 5%). I really gotta commend the program, if you follow it to the T, then I feel that most people will have a good shot of meeting their goals. I also gotta give a big shoutout to the staff and trainers at the El Cajon center! They really do make you feel welcomed and do a great job encouraging. It really feels like they're invested in your success and they help to keep you motivated .. even the simple hi and byes from the staff are super pleasant. I would encourage anyone looking to start a healthier lifestyle or to lose some weight to check this place out cause they def know the recipe to making transformations and it's worth it! If you're thinking about trying it out, stop. Go and sign up today and don't let yourself talk yourself out of it. Just dive in and don't look back!!

    Great workout sure, I even did the 20lb challenge and felt motivated and supported however when it came time for me to part ways with the gym due to moving it has been nightmare! All of the sudden I don't get responded to. I was charged twice after canceling the membership and when I finally got a call back to discuss, I was told I would be refunded the two charges and that did not happen. I am in the process of reporting them and this is just such a headache not worth it. The photos attached are the conversations I've had where you can clearly see the dates and how I have been ignored multiple times and promised to be called on a specific date and time and it didn't happen.     I did our 6 weeks challenge on March 1st 2021 weighing 140.5, 5 weeks later I lost 21.1 lbs. The weight loss journey is not easy, it needs patience and dedication. This gym challenged and motivated me a lot. They are very knowledgeable and honest on how I can achieve my goal. Workouts are different everyday. Hands down to all the trainers, they are very helpful, fun and willing to help you and answer all the questions. Special shout out to Coach Andrew and Coach Jenny, they are strict and will definitely make you sweat a lot, they will push you to reach your goal. I hate it and love it when I have them butThank you for motivating me. I feel stronger and more confident. It was hard in the beginning but the result is very rewarding. I would highly recommend this place. They will guide you from diet to workout to supplements. Thank you guys!!!

    I was asked my very first week what I would rate The Camp 1-10. I gave it a 7 ( I was being nice.) There was no direction in the beginning. I walked in, the ladies at the front were always nice, but no one ever told me where to put my things, what I needed to do, where I needed to go. I was lost. The coaches never made an effort knowing there were new people in class to introduce themselves, nor were some of them very friendly. It wasn't until my second week that I actually got the hang of everything. The workouts were hard but different everyday, some of the coaches mix in a lot of cardio, which is good for the challenge.You get your own personal spray bottle and towel to wipe down the weights after using them. If you need help or any modifications to your workout you definitely have to ask or tell the coach prior to class. My biggest support through that challenge was the other challengers in class. It was nice to know that you weren't doing it alone and were able to talk to one another about the dreaded tilapagus. The class demographic was very mixed, all shapes and sizes to all different ages. It was very easy to feel comfortable here. I would recommend this class to everybody, its hard but YOU have to want it and go after it.

    I finished my 2nd and final 20lb challenge. I am not going to lie, it was not easy. It took a lot of hard work and support from the Camp and the coaches. It took meal prepping and saying no to birthday lunches at work. This isn't some lose weight fast miracle diet, it all makes sense. I looked forward to the classes, did the meal prepping (which took some time and getting used to for me to find some meals I really enjoy) and am focusing on continuing life post-FTDI. This was a great program for me, I don't regret it one bit, and now I signed up to be a member. #BeastCounty

    This gym is the best! I have never had so much fun and dedication to working out! The program is working for me. I am shredding. Week 4 and I am down 15 lbs. The trainers and the workouts here are the real deal. If you want to change your life in the blink of the eye, this is the place!

I also work out at the fire station consistently. Life was structured, predictable, and free of the "let me show you around" tour. Then last summer happened. I decided to temporarily join a gym. You know, the classic three month commitment that absolutely never turns into anything longer. This was mainly to support my daughter as she headed into her high school soccer season while rehabbing from ACL surgery. So I reluctantly agreed. Signed the papers. Mentally prepared to count down 90 days. Then we met Brittany, the gym manager. Problem number one: she was actually great. Super friendly, respectful, and did not hit us with the usual high pressure sales pitch. Honestly, she could have sold ice to a fire crew without trying. Next thing you know, we are signed up and showing up. And here is where things went sideways in a good way. Hardcore Fitness El Cajon is nothing like the other gyms we have tried. Brittany sets the tone. She is not just behind a desk, she is in there working out with everyone else, keeping the energy high and making the place feel legit. Now the trainers. Diego. This guy is dialed in. I am there at 0530, barely functional, and he is making rounds correcting form at every station like a fitness sniper. I used to hate being coached. Now it actually helps and somehow does not annoy me. Hesham. Equal parts coach and stand up comedian. Keeps things light, keeps you moving, and somehow makes you feel like a champion even when you are questioning your life choices mid workout. Gio. Pretty sure his mission is to make everyone sweat out their entire life story. I hear he writes the workouts now, which explains a lot. Respectfully brutal. Johannes. Top tier coach. He worked with my daughter during her knee rehab and did an outstanding job. That alone says a lot. Athena. High energy, funny, and very easy to stay focused around... or at least try to. She brings a ton of motivation to every class. I know I am missing a few, but the entire staff is solid. What really stands out is the community. No ego, no weird vibes, no cliques. Does not matter who you are or where you are from, everyone gets along and puts in the work. And here is the part I did not expect. For the first time, I am actually consistent. Not "I worked out twice this week so I deserve a reward meal" consistent. Real consistent. And I am seeing results. Strength is up, agility is better, and apparently I now have what can only be described as beach muscles. I am not entirely sure when that happened, but I am not questioning it. So here I am. A guy who avoided gyms for years... actually recommending one.

The staff is friendly and supportive, and you can tell they genuinely care about helping members succeed. I especially want to mention Brittany Frary, who signed me up--she was incredibly helpful, informative, and made the entire process easy. What stood out most was that she didn't make me feel pressured at all, which I really appreciated. Overall, Hardcore Fitness is an awesome gym with a great environment. She is a member in the Bay Area and was visiting San Diego, so we decided to do a class together. The staff was superb and very friendly! Carissa helped me get checked in at the front and explained the heart rate monitor and how class will go. The coach helped me before class started to talk about my fitness goals and teach me how to use the rower, which I had never tried before. I was a bit intimidated at first because OTF seemed intense, but I ended up really liking the environment. The coach showed us all the moves, had a really upbeat vibe, and pushed us when he saw we could do more. The exercises were easy to follow and were easy to view on the TV screens. Half the class was weights and rower, and the second half was cardio on the treadmill. You could walk, jog, or run, and increase by incline or speed. I did a jogging pace of 4mph and increased to 5/6. It was really interesting to see my heart rate on the screen. Overall, it was a really fulfilling workout and I had a lot of fun!! I snapped a pic of the membership prices. I haven't decided if I will move forward with a membership, but I am highly considering it because of the awesome staff and motivating environment!

You come in here for results. You come in here to change your life. You come in here and leave it all on the gym floor. The workout: Since Coach Randy bought the gym he's been teaching 100% of the classes. He's recently (fall 2018) hired on some new staff that's just as ample. The workouts are simple yet totally thrill you. +Quick warm up, sometimes this includes a run, some stretching using props he has at the gym. Keeping in mind all of this adding to your own personal tool box. As a girl who loves zen and yoga, Randy's taught me a thing or two about stretching and showed me many new things. I do my best to come in every day with a beginners mind. +strength: barbells with the weights, dumbbells and kettle bells. Likely one will be used for the strength. +WOD: kicks your behind. It's awesome. High intensity cardio mixed with a bit of weight. Sometimes the playlist needs tweaking but I'm working on da coach. The people: The community is a wonderful group of people that have helped me in more then just through my running. if the community here sees a new face we make sure to be warm and give a shout-out during a workout. Sh** can get hard and I've made numerous new friends by bonding when I thought I was gonna die. The staff: I only know Wes and Randy but both have incredible vast knowledge of the workout world and they're both walking proof of it. You take one look at them and know you want to learn from someone who has made it. The results: Randy has trained me personally, and I've been in what seems like hundreds of hours of his classes. I've been at the gym for 3 or so months and barely recognize my body. I am astonished at what I've been able to accomplish, and as a beginner at that.
