After a couple of months they decided that it wasn't working with their schedule so they went in and cancelled, and signed the termination paper work. We were told we would've to pay 1 additional month for the cancellation which we knew about prior. The problem was they keep billing my account for months. After I noticed, and 4 additional months went by, I called and they said they would cancel the payment and refund those payments in error. The next month I got billed again so I called again, this time they said they removed the accounts so I can't get billed again and they would refund part of the payments in error but not all because they couldn't see all the payments on their side (they for sure came out of my bank account) and they couldn't find the termination papers we signed in person at the gym. For the partial refund she wanted my credit card number so she could do the refund. I asked if they could credit my bank account directly as that is how they took it out. She said she couldn't, only by credit card --there was no way I was giving them my credit card number so no refund. I guess they haven't heard of a check? I guess I will have to see if the payments stop. I will say the people I talked to were very nice, I asked for the owner (who signed us up) each time I called but he was never available. This seems to be a common occurrence per other reviews, so you may have issues when you try to cancel your membership--so beware.

The studio is BEAUTIFUL and Alissa (the owner/main instructor) is such a great instructor, I've used so many and she's definitely one of my favorites! She recently hired two other instructors too so now it's so easy to get in a class at a time that works with my schedule. She also does private sessions too, so for my birthday we rented the studio and 4 of us couples all did a private session that Alissa instructed, it was fun and hilarious to watch all the guys struggle but it would be perfect too for bachelorette parties or a girls night or anything. At first it sounded overwhelming to count macros and all that but after just 1 week of sticking to Julie's meal plan I was able to mix it up and throw my own meals together. I still drink wine most nights (if I have enough calories left at the end of the day, and I usually do), and I still eat tacos and drink beer on the weekends. Like she always says, it's an 80/20 balance. I'm doing this as a lifestyle change not a fad diet, and I have never felt better! We were very happy when this place opened in mid 2019 in the same location as the old one. We joined CrossFit Indestructible as soon as they opened. This is an amazing group of CrossFitters. Everyone is SO supportive. The trainers are very knowledgeable and helpful. They have become a second family for us. We are both older than most CrossFitters (70+) so we really appreciate the acceptance and encouragement. Don't be afraid of the word CrossFit. They are there to help you become the best you can be.

This is our daughters first time doing any kind of martial arts and she was very intimidated about joining at 13 but she quickly got over it. Jon's daughters are also part of the class and made her feel very welcomed. I love that it's not competitive and the focus is truly on teaching the kids how to defend themselves and good form. As I approached January this year, I articulated that I was in the process of growing my family. As most women know, when there are challenges here and medical demands, timing is not always on our side- especially for those that like to plan in advance. I told Nicole that I needed to pause for a month due to medical and would love to regroup once that process is complete. This medical journey could be 1 month +. Instead of supporting a long term client, she charged me anyway, offering make up classes in the future. When I asked her for flexibility to hold payment from this contract given my medical situation, she said she doesn't give "handouts" and "it's in the contract", zero empathy, zero situational awareness, zero understanding of women who are exploring Fertility journeys. This would be different if I wasn't a year long client, always showing up excited to be there. As I go to my make up session that (she had to reschedule herself because of her own schedule challenges), she disputes my concerns, says I'm ridiculous & taking advantage of her, that this partnership is clearly not working, and swiftly walks out of the gym before our session even starts. It was almost planned. Her level of professionalism does not hold when she thinks she's right, and you are wrong. This was the worst display of leadership in SMB I've seen in a long time. Instead of working with me to hold payment, and continue when my medical journey is green again, she takes the money for one month and runs, with an opportunity loss of $460 x 8 for the remainder of the annual year (3600+). Having worked with contracts for 20 years myself and being the daughter of an SMB owner, there is always flexibility when the client matters. How quickly she was willing to drop a client, was concerning. To abruptly leave a gym without closing up and locking facility was inappropriate. Everyone has bad days, but you never burn bridges in business. It doesn't matter if you're a trainer or an executive, professional conflict resolution should always be at the top of your list, even if you have a contract. Long term, your brand is always held on how you treat people. *Nicole proceeded to send me canned emails saying she wishes me the best, highlighting the credits, while gaslighting the situation and insinuating it would be comfortable for a client to return in that environment, which it is not.
