It helped to that Robby, from the Edge called me too to remind me, after my son had signed me up for info. So on Black Friday I got my deal and I'm set now until 2023. Cool thing that I can walk into any Edge location to have my work out. So we are now almost entering 2025 and I have been pretty consistent for the last 3 years. 2024 they didn't have the BOGO deal, but I paid 2024 in full and they added 3 free months. I have been enjoying the Edge the last 3 years, and I may add more.

Michael is an excellent trainer and I highly recommend him. I started working with him because I…read morehave a shoulder injury but wanted to work out again without injuring myself further. He was recommended to me by my physical therapist who he used to work with. Michael is extremely knowledgeable and put together a program for me to continue to rehab and strengthen my shoulder while also getting me back into full workouts. He did a great job of explaining how different exercises would improve my shoulder and after working with him I'm feeling much better. I feel like I have more tools now to be able to work out without while making sure I don't hurt myself. Since working with Michael I've been more active and can't thank him enough for all his help. There was an incident that occurred at LA Fitness-Stratford with an employee and "manager" named…read moreNatalie (she would not give her last name). She gave a member of the club (Lillie Ennis and her son Landon) a hard time and would not let the young man in after allowing his friends to enter with no problem (his friends did NOT have a membership). Landon showed his membership card and Lillie Ennis called and verified that her son Landon was in fact on the account. Mrs Ennis even called her local gym in Trumbull which THEY VERIFIED her account and Natalie, the manager, PROCEEDED to deny her son access. What kind of employee, who claims to be a MANAGER no less, behaves in this manner? She then LIED on Mrs. Ennis saying that she treated her poorly and had an attitude which was completely FALSE. This situation needs to be handled effectively. Any employee who behaves this way to its patrons needs to be held accountable and consequences should be given. People are PAYING for a service and are being denied that service, because of what? Natalie's bruised ego because SHE was WRONG? To be completely honest, it sounds like an incident of DISCRIMINATION and if that's the case, something needs to be done sooner rather than later. It is unacceptable and if this is a business of QUALITY, then the appropriate actions should be taken against Natalie and anyone else who works for this company who behaves this way.

When I signed up the front desk attendant was barely talking to me. When I tried to sign up for personal training they tried to sell me a 6 month membership program (that renew automatically and are difficult to cancel according to other reviews). I used the gym and noticed that they don't wipe the equipment after use. I spoke to a trainer and he didn't care. I have used the pool and enjoyed it. The sauna and the locker rooms are great.

I recently finished a 14 day core challenge that Crystal set up and I was not disappointed. She…read moresent a video of herself doing the exercise prior to starting the challenge so that the group I was in knew what to expect. I admit some days were harder than others but I felt stronger each day I did the exercise. By the last week I felt a lot more confident in my execution. Every morning she sent an affirmation and checked on everyone in the challenge to see how we felt and how we were doing. I love a good accountability group chat especially since COVID forced so many of us to stop going to the physical gym and have to work out at home I would absolutely recommend Crystal because she genuinely cares about her clients and she wants to see you become your best self. She will challenge you and she understands that in order to reach your physical goals, you have to also focus on reaching your mental health goals.
