    I was really worried about taking a CF class, let alone joining! I didn't think I could do it or…read moreworse, that I would hurt myself! Or that it would be full of those scary weightlifting guys making all those grunting noises like other gyms! My husband had been going for months and I could see definitive results on him which intrigued me. He gave me a 10 punch/pack for my birthday and after the FIRST class I was hooked. I LOVE this box! Every workout is different. The instructors are sticklers for form and safety and I always get an amazing workout. There are SO many amazing and strong women that attend classes (and coach classes!), which was also inspiring! I was a gym rat and roadie - I would do weights, cardio, swim or spin classes and or ride my road bike. But I was not achieving the same results I once did and bored as well as unmotivated. This is SO much better and takes you to a whole new level of fitness. It pushes you to do your best. It motivates you to get stronger. It's a positive environment where even your smallest achievements are recognized. I WANT to go to the gym every S-I-N-G-L-E day. At the end of some of these workouts, I'm amazed at myself that I FINISHED. I love that I'm sore after almost every workout and sometimes for DAYS after! I patiently hit "refresh" on my computer to discover the next day's WOD. Speaking of computers - I sit on my tush every day for 8+ hrs a day which has destroyed my back and core. Coming here has HELPED my back pain. I didn't think it was possible that deadlifts could help a bulging disc but it is definitely strengthening my core and back where I no longer have pain every day. THAT alone is worth every penny I spend here! I have taken classes with Michelle, Justin and Sarah and ALL are fantastic coaches!! I am a beginner and Sarah always watches out for me and makes recommendations on weights, form, corrects me if I'm doing something wrong and patiently doesn't give up on my clumsy giraffe like attempts. :) I really appreciate that about this place. You can work at your pace, and they don't recommend you increase weight if they don't think you're ready (if your form is not right - forgetta about it!) They have 7 or more classes a day to fit your busy schedule - including a beginner class most days; different pricing structures for your pocket book; state of the art equipment and coaches, as well as truly inspirational attitudes. This place is not for everybody. If you want to get in shape, workout HARD, push yourself to limits you didn't know you had in you - this place is for you. If you like the regular pace of gyms, spin classes, zumba, central heat/air - this may not be the place for you. OR - mix it up and use both! I would highly recommend checking them out!! They are AMAZING!

I kept driving by Base 6 and decided to give them a-go since I like HIIT classes and I workout better in group classes than alone. It's been almost a year since I've been going to Base 6. The classes offer a lot of variety. You are able to push yourself as much as you want or take it easy if you're having an off-day. I am probably one of the least coordinated people and I never feel embarrassed when the entire class is working out on their left side and I'm on my right b/c I can't follow direction. The coaches are very knowledgeable regarding the exercises and correct your form when needed. They also try to push me but know when to back off when I give them the stank eye. The class formats can sometimes be a little hard to follow, but the coaches offer great direction and explanation of the format. The owner, Brian, does a good job keeping the routine engaging and fun. There are always themed classes around the holidays and group challenges. There are familiar faces any time I show up to work out which makes you feel like a small part of a community. Even if you're afraid of HIIT- like classes, give them a shot, you may enjoy it.

First off, Fitwall classes are designed to give you a full body workout in 40 minutes. I have found that I sign up by my instructors as they are typically the same for each class by the day. The classes cycle through a 3 week process that gets gradually tougher each week. Mondays - Friday classes en corporate strength, cardio and flexibility. Mondays are the most strength and weight focused, and each day gradually includes more cardio until you get to the Friday class which is 90% cardio and the perfect burner you need before the weekend. While you get to know and learn all the instructors different routines, Drew and Alyssa have been my go to from day 1. Drew and Hannah always have incredible insight into the kinesiology behind your moves and while all the coaches love to push the class to achieve the most from your workouts, these two specifically always provide perfect recommendations for anyone with pain points and their modifications make sure that you are staying inline with the rest of the classes exercises. Huge shout out to Alyssa and Amanda who are remarkable as well, they exemplify the all around continuous motivation. Exactly what you will need by the 30 minute mark of each class! I love how clean and well kept the gym is, as well as the dependable communication of this team. I started going to Fitwall during Covid, and last winter had a number of scares. The team was amazing at making sure everyone was staying safe and that the gym was aware of any issue or possible outbreaks as we all adjusted to the new normal.
