He knew exactly what to do and found our issue within 30 minutes (15 of that was us just talking and getting to know each other) he was so thoughtful of our situation. His price was amazing. While they were not the lowest, they were the most responsive and knew their business well. We had them do the work and while they were here, they also did the Annual and 5 year Fire inspection, which included the sprinkler system, fire extinguishers, Exit and Emergency lighting. The provided a written report and provided guidance needed for compliance. Their crew was professional, friendly and also knew the business. They cleaned up after themselves. I was under the impression that the invoice I paid when he did the work would cover the minor adjustments after remodeling was done. It did not and I received an additional invoice. Additionally, it was difficult to get him back to the house to do those adjustments in time to prevent holding up the carpenter. Overall, somewhat disappointing.

I contacted another backflow company to conduct our yearly fire sprinkler backflow test and that's…read morewhen all the problems started. The technician said it failed inspection because of a leak. So, he told me that he needed to order a gasket repair kit and clean out the valves and gave me an estimate. But even after the replacement, it still kept leaking. So, then he said that it maybe a faulty check valve or "something more" and therefore, the safest alternative was to replace the entire assembly, which would've cost around $8,000+. So, I prayed and then started looking around for a 2nd opinion. That's when I found Dave. Dave came out to the site and did see that the backflow valve was leaking. He called me, gave me an estimate (which I thought was very reasonable) and took the backflow assembly apart. In less than 30 minutes, he examined both check valves and realized that there was nothing wrong with them. The problem was that one of the valves wasn't tightened properly and that was causing the leakage. He also commented that in his 20 years of testing and repairing backflow valves, he's never seen a valve this loose before. After tightening everything, it passed inspection immediately! Dave is the man! He is honest and very knowledgeable. He literally knows backflow assemblies inside-out and is my go-to guy for all backflow related issues.

We had a problem with one of the valves last year and had it replaced to the tune of $850. Imagine our surprise when we got the results of this year's testing and the same valve failed again and, once again, needed to be replaced. After multiple attempts to speak with the company, we finally got an email saying that those valves are not very sturdy and the AZ heat causes them to fail routinely. Since the valve was less than a year old, that didn't make sense to us, so we decided to bring in another company for a second opinion. That was when we found F6 Backflow Services. We spoke to Dave, the owner, on the phone and explained our situation. He said it sounded "off" to him, too, so we made arrangements for him to come out, take a look at it, and see what he could do. He came out the next day and did some clean-up of the housing - and a couple of other things that I admittedly didn't understand. When he hooked up his gauges and retested, lo and behold, the valve passed.  We can't thank him enough for his honesty and professionalism. Needless to say, F6 Backflow Services will be our provider going forward and we look forward to working with Dave in the future.

We had a leaking sprinkler head, which had caused water damage to an area of the garage. We shut off the water and had to work with a mitigation team to remove the wet dry wall and the ceiling around the sprinkler head to confirm the leak was coming from the sprinkler head itself. It was a stressful situation for someone encountering this type of a situation for the first time. Smart Fire Protection said they can come out to the house same day, which I really appreciated. The rate was higher than expected but I figured it is due to weekend pricing, and it was not unreasonable. We wanted to get the water turned back on sooner vs. waiting until Monday. Jose was professional and courteous and answered all my questions with patience and kindness. I learned a lot about the sprinkler system. He replaced the sprinkler head, checked the pressure gauge, pointed out some calcifications in the pipes to keep an eye on. He flushed and recharged the system and recommended we check back in for an inspection of the overall sprinkler system throughout the house later in the year. Overall a great experience and worth recommending!
