This is the second time we have used CC Long Distance Movers. Both times were great. The first was from a one-bedroom apartment in FL to a one bedroom condo in UT. It took them exactly 2 hours to pack everything. In 2 1/2 years that we were at the condo we accumulated more furniture so this time when we moved to our new house in Plano TX we assumed that it would be more than a few days to move. The three man crew had all of our bed disassembled and the furniture wrapped and loaded on the truck with a few heavy boxes we didn't care to move ourselves in about an hour. At the new house they unloaded in just under an hour. WESOME!! The assistance, and follow-up before, during and after the move was very much appreciated. We also appreciated. They made the experience of packing, moving and unpacking as seamless as we believe was possible. All were very good to work with, individually as well as within the overall team.All in all, they made this move a much better experience than we expected! I needed to ship my car from Illinois to Texas. After getting quotes from three different companies and reading many reviews about each of them, it became an easy decision on which company to choose. Cross Country Long Distance Movers was not the most expensive. They were just $50 above the lowest quote. The deciding factor was the gentleman who I dealt with on the phone. His name is Frank Feldesi. He was courteous, professional and friendly. What I really appreciated was he always promptly responded to my emails and phone calls. He was the only one of the 3 companies that quickly followed up to see if I had any questions. When the time came for my car to be picked up by a driver named Dorian, I was overjoyed by how quickly he safely got my car to Houston. I had some concerns after some reviews I read about other companies. This was the easiest move I've ever experienced! Booking my moving day was easy, and they offered a clear quote for my move. Because I was moving my belongings from a FL residence to all way to Houston TX, they advised that the total cost which happened to be very fair, which I appreciated knowing so that I could budget properly and not expect any surprises in cost. In the end, the cost was about less than what I was expecting! Awesome! The two men who moved everything arrived totally prepared and with a plan of action, and they were super nice and friendly. I have a lot of beautiful, handmade furniture that my father built, and it's important to me that those irreplaceable pieces last forever. I was really pleased that nothing was damaged -- not even a tiny bit -- and the guys took great care to make sure my furniture was wrapped and padded properly. My husband and I moved from Texas to California and we used Cross Country Long Distance Movers. They were on time, efficient, professional, hardworking, and incredibly knowledgable. They were very courteous and had special wooden crates and certain equipment that other movers don't have for the more fragile items. Moving is such a headache especially when you're moving pretty far, but these guys made it a breeze! From scheduling to the day of the move, they have always had wonderful communication with us. Considering the distance, the price was not bad at all. They were able to pack and wrap everything within only a few hours (something that would have taken us 2 days). I had to move my 87 years old mom closer to my location so I would be able to help her anytime she actually needs it but she refused to go anywhere without her stuff most of which is really heavy and huge and old and thus basically hard to transport. However, cross country movers managed to bring everything here unbroken and even unscratched! they even treated my mother politely though we all know how hard can it get to stay calm while an elderly person tries to make requests most of which you hardly understand and then he or she gets mad on u when u do something wrong and so on. The movers crew was very personable, and were able to answer all my questions, and put my mind at ease that all was going to go well. On the day of the move, 3 movers arrived on time, got everything out of our town house and into a nearby condo very efficiently, professionally and with smiles on their faces!
