We've had Orkin for about five years (if you consider three years prior, then canceling them and…read morethen giving them a second chance and having them for the last year and a half) For some reason, they lack customer service and customer service tells you things that just don't happen. By way of example, we have been waiting for a mouse bait trap since the middle of March (when they performed our early spring treatment. As of June 21st, we still have not received the bait trap and we keep asking every time they come and the Technician tells us they will deliver one or bring it with them on the next visit and this does not happen. We have had two visits since and they keep saying it's coming. We have found in our experience that the Technicians notes are not communicated to the office nor to other Technicians and each time Orkin comes, we have a different Technician who knows nothing about the prior visit or anything about a bait trap being delivered (nor does the office staff). I suspect Orkin has high turnover of employees (it is rare to have the same Service Technician) so the person who performed service in March most likely dors not have his notes communicated to the next Service Technician who comes out on the next scheduled visit. Their office process appears disfunctional (on my opinion) and their systems or staff are questionable. You probably wonder ..."why are we still using them"..? My answer is that Orkin is slightly less then most competitors and in the beginning, they were really good, however things started to change. I'm telling people this because no matter what they tell you during their sales call, get it in writing and you need to stay on them to ensure they do what your contract states. Do not take their verbal word on anything, and do follow up on any requests ( you may be calling them frequently).

What a shady ass company you are. Cancel my contract immediately. I don't do business with your type of people. You should be ashamed of yourself. By the way, had an actual environmental company come out the same day who did actual testing. Got our results tonite. It's a disinfectant type clean up that is needed. What a scam!!

The guy who seems as far as I can tell to be the only employee, said he wasn't sure he was allowed to discuss that with me and had to have his manager call me. It was a huge red flag because all pest control people who are licensed should know that they are required by law to not only tell you what chemicals they use, but show you the labels of their chemicals as well as their license number before providing a service.
