I am leaving this review to share my frustrating experience with Dr. Critter's rat removal service…read more After paying $2,700 for what was supposed to be a comprehensive attic exclusion with a one-year warranty, I ended up feeling completely let down. When rat activity returned just a month and a half later, the company refused to honor their warranty in any meaningful way. They came out, checked only the exact spots they originally sealed, and then told me that since those particular spots were still intact, the warranty didn't cover anything else. Essentially, they're using the warranty as a way to avoid responsibility for any missed entry points. If they missed sealing three out of eight possible entry locations, for example, they won't return to fix those misses without charging extra. Their "solution" is to just charge more for additional trapping, which isn't a real fix if the entry points remain open. In short, the one-year warranty feels like a complete scam. They're not standing behind their work, and I'm left dealing with the same problem I paid them to solve. I'd strongly advise others to be cautious before using this service

I spent a total of $4,522 for Dr. Critter's "services" in order to remove a rodent problem in one…read moreof my homes (and an additional $1,830 of contractor work to fix areas of the home that Dr. Critter claimed was the source of the rodent problem). And after 8 long months and thousands of dollars spent, the rodent problem was never resolved. There was still the same amount of rodent activity after all the "work" they did as their was prior to it, if not MORE. I decided to completely drop Dr. Critter's services two months ago and looked elsewhere since their methods were ineffective. After finding a competitor (Proteck Wildlife Solutions), they were able to identify all the areas that Dr. Critter missed and even told me the areas in which Dr. Critter said were problem entry points were not problems at all. After using Proteck Wildlife Solutions, there has been NO RODENT ACTIVITY FOR ALMOST A MONTH IN THE HOUSE. Dr. Critter initially charged me $2,957 for an Exclusion, Removal, Bioremediation, and Misc Fixes. After just two weeks, the rodents returned. What exactly did I pay thousands of dollars for? They then proceeded to tell me there were entry points on the siding of the house, but they would not be able to make those fixes and I had to hire a contractor to make said fixes. Why was that issue not found on the initial assestment? Dr. Critter also mentioned that the siding had to be sealed off COMPLETELY and that every other area they took care of was fine. I consulted with THREE different siding contractors and each one specifically told me that sealing off the siding completely would be a hazard when it rains as it would cause the area to be prone to flooding and that they would not seal it off completely for liability reasons. Because the contractors (rightfully) would not seal off the siding, Dr. Critter said they would continute to charge me for trapping services instead of honoring the "warranty" I had for the $2,957 in services since they were entering an area they did not work on. They then charged me for $1,411 for 20 days of trapping, saying that they are entering through the siding and nothing can be done if that is open (which Proteck Wildlife Solutions proved was WRONG. There were multiple entry points in the roof that Dr. Critter did not seal. Once Proteck sealed those off, there was NO roden activity for a month. Proteck didn't mention the siding as an issue AT ALL). Also multiple times, Dr. Critter would leave "complimentary traps" in the attic that would be set off by rodents, but would not let myself nor my tenants know that they left these traps in the home. When I asked if they would pick up the traps, they said they would charge a $95 service fee. Why would you leave traps without telling me, and then expect me to pay a service fee to have them removed? I do not recommend using Dr. Critter for any of their services. Their communication with me was absolutely poor. They continued to charge me for services that had no real resolve. For a company claiming to be "wildlife removal experts", they seem to be far from it. Do yourself a favor and go with Proteck Wildlife Solutions if you have rodent issues.

When they arrived the technician proceeded to violently beat on my door, causing some of my decor to fall off of the wall. When I opened they door, I asked him to not beat on my door so hard as I could hear him from anywhere in my unit. The tech looked me up & down then proceeded to laugh in my face. He pushed past me to begin spraying the kitchen area. He began to misgender me despite all clues pointing to me being trans. (Makeup, breast, demeanor) . He was yelling over me repeatedly saying "YESSIR, YESSIR, YESSIR". At which point I asked him to leave me unit, as I was no longer interested in services. As he is walking by me he laughs in my face & begins yelling "HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING SIR & A GREAT CHRISTMAS SIR" I am so disturbed from this experience. At what point do we good people accountable? At what point is this behavior not acceptable?

Long story short: we made the switch after swarms at our house were getting more frequent and our previous pest control company that we had a termite bond with just wasn't cutting it. After the first visit, termite activity completely disappeared for over a year. As you may know, without tenting your home, you can't ever fully get rid of termites, especially living in the Colonialtown neighborhoods. The large majority of older homes deal with it in some capacity. Our last two visits have just been quick spot treatments because of the protection and treatment we got the first time. We only ever have 1 or 2 small sites of activity a year (no more swarmst though), which is a huge improvement from the last company we used. All in all, we're happy with the service and recommend them for termite bonds. Every employee that's serviced our home has been on time, professional, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

WARNING: Absolute Negligence and Incompetence. Use at Your Own Risk…read more Rating: 1/5 Stars I am writing this to warn anyone considering Rowland Pest Management: Do not trust this company with your home or your money. I have been a client since February 2025. I initially hired them to handle a rodent issue in my grill area--a contained problem. I paid them $1,800 to seal my home and signed up for their monthly monitoring contract. Despite this significant investment, the result has been a total failure. Here is the reality of their "service": * Zero Results: After nearly a year of payments, I have the exact same infestation in my grill area. The initial exclusion work was clearly ineffective. * Blatant Laziness: I have watched technicians arrive and sit in their vehicle for 30 minutes before finally getting out to do "work." They are burning the clock on my dime. * Proof of Negligence: The incompetence is staggering. One technician actually admitted to me that a rat had made a nest inside a bait box. This is undeniable proof that they are not checking the equipment I am paying them to monitor. They are simply going through the motions. * High Turnover & No Accountability: I have seen three or four different technicians during this time. There is no consistency, and they clearly cannot keep staff. When I demanded a manager come out to see this mess personally, they refused and just sent another low-level technician. Management is hiding behind a revolving door of untrained employees and refuses to take responsibility for their failure. I value discipline and integrity, and Rowland Pest Management possesses neither. They took my money, failed to solve the problem, and neglected their duties. Robert Singleton Retired US Army
