As soon as I stepped out of the car with the bird in the box she started yelling about not having funding and needing donations. My daughter was distraught and I was stressed so I told her I would see what I could do (single mom/low income) just so she would stop yelling at me. I wonder what happened to this sweet bird, but I refused to interact with her on any level again. After reading the other reviews, it shows many others have had the same experience. Sad! Stay away from this evil woman! And after releasing that falcon... how can she sleep at night? What a disgrace to the wildlife rescue community!!!

I was told the treatment would "take time" and after a month...the wood eating ants were still there in the thousands. I communicated with Mr. Shumaker and he assured me after the 2nd treatment of $85 the ants would be gone. They were not. The bugs on the front of the house were gone, not the thousands of ants eating the wood at the back of the house. After sending him his private requested review..he called me as to why I was not happy. I stated.."you did not terminate the ants and since we have removed the rotted wood...I am cancelling the contract". He said he wished I would have not paid my last bill of $85 on my credit card and would "make it right". He did not. I saw him today as he treats our condos where I live and mentioned the home he treated. He right in front of his worker said.."yes she thought she had a termite issue but did not". That was a lie. After the worker left, I called him out on it as I did not want to make an issue in front of his worker. He basically talked in circles and stated.."well you resolved the problem by removing the wood". $235 down the drain. I own multiple rental properties...he will not get any more of my money. Negative reviews lose you more than that Mr. Shumaker.

In June (2019) we used Todd at Universal Pest Control to handle a major job at my girlfriends home…read morein Daytona beachside, after the property had experienced an on-going termite problem for many months. (Spot treatments by another pest control company had not worked and they kept coming back, and the other company had advised us that they could not tent the house due to technical problems.) Todd took the trouble to fully research the challenges, and figured out a way for the entire house and separate garage apartment to be tented and fumigated. He did an excellent job of arranging for the tenting and personally oversaw the entire job from start to finish (3 days), including personally inspecting the home to ensure that it was OK for us to move back in. He then came back a week later to check in on us, and to check the health of the plants that we had gone to a lot of trouble to save, as some of them had to be tented (they survived thanks to his advice on how to protect them). And all this at a very reasonable price versus other quotes we obtained. Needless to say we were highly impressed with his work, have no more termites, and cannot recommend him enough.
