Someone comes and plays with my dog for 20-30 min until she's wore out, then she gets some pets and is returned to her crate. I really enjoy the pictures the team sends when I'm not there, and I love the service so much, I've opted to continue even though I'm laid up at home with a broken ankle. I have visited her several times just to play with the puppies. I am not sure why there is vitriol toward this breeder but feel it was over the top. I have an Australian shepherd and some of the complaints are just part of the disposition-not liking males and high anxiety. I had my shepherd before I met Deborah but if something happens to her-she is now 11 1/2, I will definitely contact Deborah for a puppy.

Last Christmastime, I drove my parents from Kentucky down to Tennessee to see the farm and select a pup. My parents are old school and like picking out their pup in person, and so do I. My Mom picked this blue-eyed, blue merle male out and he was one of the biggest of the litter. We knew about these working breeds as in the past we had a Sheltie and then a Border Collie. My parents really wanted an Aussie and they are so happy with our Nuxey! He is extremely smart and has the absolute best temperament. He is true to the breed as he loves being around his people and will often lay directly on my parents feet. As you see from the photos he loves his ball. He also knows the name of all his toys. My Dad can ask him to bring a toy by name and he knows exactly which one and brings it.

My dog is a former outside dog, who was abandoned, and due to past abuse is very weary of new people (it took me a solid year and a lot of cheese to get him to move into my house). However, he quickly warmed up to Dr. Keener and vet tech Angela. The first visit my dog ran and tried to hide in my bedroom, now he greets Dr. Kenner and Angela at the door - although sometimes more loudly than he should be greeting guest. When I first found Readivet I was in a predicament, I now had a large dog, that hates cars, I drive a 2 seater, he is easily overwhelmed by new people, and he was discovered to be heart worm positive. I was panicked trying to find a solution to get him treatment. I finally found Readivet which offered a mobile solution for regular vet services, but heart worm treatment is specialized. I explained my situation and was told we would come up with a game plan. The first visit Dr. Keener was unavailable but Angela and a man who name I don't recall came by and we discussed heartworm treatment, risks, and options. Later Dr. Keener called me to fully explain the process, answer any questions (which I had a lot), and to come up with a game plan for his treatment. They adapted to what would be best for him, and due to him being a very easy dog to work on and due to his anxiety of riding in cars and strangers they were able to provide all of his heart worm treatment services at my home (with a large enough van incase he needed to be transported). Despite my dog associating his vet team with being poked be needles (some directly into his heart) and the people that bring the scale (his least favorite thing for unknown reasons), he absolutely loves Dr. Keener and Angela. He warmed up to them faster than anyone else he has met. They are so kinda and radiate such a calming presence that he not only tolerates his vet appointments but seems excited when they arrive. I cannot promise the same results for all other animals, because I feel like this is a very unique reaction, but I can promise that your pet will be well taken care of, that you'll feel informed about all medical decision and needs for your pet, you'll be treated with kindness and respect, and that you'll love the convince of not having bring your pet into a shared space with lots of nervous energy causing more anxiety. My dog has been heart worm negative for over a year and we are on year 2 of using Readivet!
