I own a local grooming salon and needed a vet. The animals vet couldn't get us in, so we called Pets R Us. Maria was so incredibly kind and helpful. We immediately headed her way, where she greeted me at the door with a smile and took me to a room right away. I didn't wait long before Dr. Kozman came in. He was wonderful. He treated my pet with kindness and compassion. He was especially kind to me and I look forward to building a relationship with this Veterinary Office. I was in and out in under 45 minutes. Beware! Steer clear and go elsewhere. Not only did they misdiagnose my 6 yr old angel but they were very unprofessional and over priced. The doctor showed me X-rays and told me she had a blockage/foreign body which turned out to be false. She had a uteran infection and was anemic. So they charged me for blood work, x-rays, meds and food that was not needed. The following day I had to put her down because she was in such bad shape. 2 days later they called to follow up and I told them that she had to be put down and the response I got was "Oh ok is there anything else we can do for you?" Not we are very sorry or hope you feel better.....Disgusting and despicable! Side note: the staff there are all young inexperienced children that joke around the whole time. One of the vets taking vitals was playing with the fecal sample amongst her peers in the back. I'm not sure how they have such good reviews on Google but the Yelp reviews seem much more accurate. Disgusting treatment of pets AND people; unprofessional!! I had an appointment today to have two cats seen for upper respiratory infections, which they've both had before. The so called Medical Director, Dr. Kozman, eventually came into the room. He took the temp of one of the cats, didn't show me the temp or even tell me what it was, and just said temp is low. He told then tech/nurse to get two feline leukemia tests. I asked how much they were and he said he'd give me an estimate before doing anything. I thought it was strange that he told her to get the tests before I knew the price and/or even agreed to them. She came back and told me the tests were something around $160; I'm not sure the exact amount. I asked her if I had to agree to the tests or if they could just prescribe antibiotics, like usual, and treat the upper respiratory infection. She said she would have to ask the doctor. He came back and I asked him and he said no, he won't do anything unless I pay for the tests. I told him we have had this issue before and I have other healthy cats at home and didn't feel like we needed the tests to treat the upper respiratory. He told me not to raise my voice and I looked at him because I wasn't being abnormally loud. The exam rooms are small so maybe it just sounds loud? In any case, I told him this is just how I talk. He told us to get out and leave. He left the room and came back on the other side and opened the door and yelled for us to leave or he was calling the police. He wasn't even giving us time to get the cats back into the carrier. When I walked to the front, the receptionist had her hand to her face like she was trying to avoid looking at me and/or she was embarrassed by his behavior. It seemed like this is something that has happened before. I was trying to ask her about the deposit I had already paid and he was yelling at me to leave and wouldn't let me talk to her. I paid $55 and he didn't even examine the cats except for taking a temperature. As I was getting into the car, there was a man standing outside the building, smoking a cigarette. Dr. Kozman came outside and went with the man to a vehicle and did whatever he did. The man was waiting for him. I took two things: One - he had something else going on with the man outside and couldn't be bothered to take the time to examine my cats so he found a reason to get us out of there so he could do whatever it was he ended up doing with that man. Two - he was expecting me to pay for tests to make him extra money regardless of the fact that my cats still needed treatment for upper respiratory infections. Testing them wouldn't have changed the fact that they needed antibiotics. I had money for the exam and treatment and I didn't have money to be padding his pockets with irrelevant and unwanted testing. I called back to the office and spoke with the receptionist and she was very apologetic. Again, its seems she's been through this before. After some back and forth, I explained that he didn't provide the service I paid for so I could file a dispute with the bank or he could do the responsible thing and refund my money. She told me she would refund the $55 and I should have it back in 5-10 days or something. I left there with two cats still not being treated; one who is pretty seriously ill and now has to wait another day for help. Maria, the receptionist, was the one shining star and positive note about this whole visit. read more

I had seen this vet before for my pups but not in a while I walked in 4 o'clock, no appointment, and they were able to check her out and take an x-ray because she was not eating or drinking for two days. There was some thing foreign in her tummy and they set up the very next morning for surgery and move some things around so they could take care of her got her home today and she's well on her way to recovery! They took very good care of our beloved Frida. read more

My cat needed to be seen ASAP, they were so nice and fit me in when my regular vet acted annoyed and too busy for me. My cat had a fever of 105.6 and was SUPER SICK. They were fantastic!! Fever broke after we got home and my kitty was feeling much better the next day! Dr asked me 3 times, if I had any other questions, and I didn't feel like he was rushed me out. He even personally called the next morning at 7 am to check on my cat. He truly cares! I definitely have found a new vet for my fur babies! Thank you Dr Kozman and staff!!! read more

Our lil fur baby got sick late night and threw up thru the night ... tons & tons ... I called Pets R Us and they took her right in .... Kozman DMV got her the recovery road within 24 hrs. We where so impressed with Kozman we took her back to him for her final puppy shots and let him fix her just as she came in season .... she bounced beautifully back from that surgery... Kozman even checked on her wellness with phone calls .... Love Love Love those folks at that office and Kozman has our business for life ! read more

Worst place EVER! I was told to bring my feral cat (12Years Old), in after I caught hime and the the techs could check him out for worms. Well, I caught him and poor thing was so traumatized. I don't think I will be able to ever catch him again. I called the Vet's office to tell them I was on my way in and then she tells me they are going to lunch and the doctor won't be in until 1:00 and he has to give the exam before they can give any worm meds. WHAT???? I could have waited to crate him. I felt so sorry for my cat I couldn't keep him in the crate that long so I just let him go. Never will I go to this place, it's a zoo! read more
