I can't say enough good things about ReadiVet!

Another reviewer mentioned this, but the 1:1 time you get to spend with the vet (plus the convenience) makes ReadiVet a no-brainer for us. They can take care of multiple dogs in one visit, and they are truly so so kind. We adore Dr. Matthews, and on some days I'm convinced my dogs like her more than me. They are highly qualified vets and are so generous answering my million questions - just all around great humans! I've found that their prices are comparable to my normal vet, and time = money so the travel fee is truly worth it. Especially because they show up on time, every time! Completely eliminating traffic and waiting in a parking lot/waiting room.

I'd like to start this off by saying that I am chronically overextending myself to a point of total self-destruction. In this particular situation it wasn't entirely my fault - I impulsively re-homed a dog owned by a client of mine without any real heads up about this dog being 8 years old and not having her vaccinations or even having been to a vet before. And it's January, and I work in mental health, so everyone and their literal mothers' are reaching out for help right now... I don't blame my own challenges for needing to find a vet who could see an 8 year old dog who's background includes not ever being seen by a vet before, at a time where vets are actually so overwhelmed that getting into one takes months. And I don't blame myself for the fact that when the aforementioned dog had blood in her urine, I needed help and I needed it fast and for it to happen without judgement. I googled. I found this unicorn of a solution to a huge list of problems in need of addressing thoughtfully, and so I signed up for an appt online despite feeling like there was no way it was going to be real because things like this don't just happen - you don't need a vet on the fly and then poof it appears... not in adulthood. And yet I signed up out of sheer desperation due to the growing length of my "to-address" list, and the fact that this involved a sweet 8 year old dog who just loves and might be in pain or sick, making the stakes inherently higher, thus making me decide to hit the "why not?" button and book an appointment. 48 hrs later Dr Keener and her tech were in my living room just performing a magical dance of medical teamwork, keeping both me and my dog calm. They had no shred of judgement, nor did they seem to be "over it", nor did I get an ounce of behavior indicating they might be understandably exhausted from giving medical care to animals in a mobile fashion during the chaos that is 2023. They were so kind, and thorough, and thoughtful. They were prepared, and knowledgeable, and addressed all of my questions and concerns in a professionally kind manner. They even texted me to remind me to get the stool sample once Lucy poops! I cannot say enough amazing things about this magical unicorn of a mobile veterinary practice. I look forward to being a loyal customer who never has to leave their home in order to get their dog care ever again.

My cat has suffered excessive surgical trauma including: bruising, swelling, lethargy, not eliminating/drinking.

I want my sweet tiny traumatized rescue cat to be kept comfortable after this horrific ordeal, I want an apology and full refund. I expect it immediately, esp after she was dropped during post op exam today 4 excessive bruising, swelling, lethargy, not eliminating nor drinking. I have documentation of prior rushed and aggressive handling of my her and other pets. It is ALL beyond unacceptable as is snarky pushback, denial, dismissal, and disrespect towards me and my requests.

Our sweet senior dog is starting to need more and more veterinary care, and after a not-so-great visit elsewhere, we decided to try somewhere new. With a quick peek at their Yelp page, Belmont Animal Hospital seemed to be highly regarded by many pet parents around town, and one of our previous vets that we just adored had actually recently moved to this practice herself! We saw Dr. Nelson, who is thorough and detail-oriented while still being incredibly friendly to both myself and my dog. She addressed all of my concerns, scheduled a follow-up exam, and even began planning ahead for my pup's annual vaccines in a few months. I appreciate her thoughtfulness during the appointment, along with the attentiveness from both of the vet techs we saw! I felt that the prices were very fair, especially given the care we received. Obviously going to the vet isn't going to be cheap - but there are definitely some practices in ritzy parts of town that price gouge. This is not one of those places, thankfully, and I'm thrilled that they offer an online pharmacy that price matches to Chewy! Big thanks to the wonderful team at Belmont Animal Hospital ... it means so much to me and my husband that our dogs are in such capable and caring hands.

My Honest and Recent Review of West Meade Vet Clinic - Dr Lutz and Dr Ramsaur. 5/5/25…read more Please do not take your dog here for dental or anything that requires competence and compassion. They extracted 2 molars from my 13 year old dog - they didn't do the anesthesia correctly - he called me to tell me about his mistake. I was grateful for ramsaur's honesty, he gave my dog a double dose of pain medication during the anesthesia. After picking him up - the red headed front desk lady "erin" brought my dog out to the parking lot when i specifically requested that I could pick him up and carry him to the car. My dog was drooling blood and saliva, he was dragging his back feet and he was very confused. She had the choke collar around him - no compassion at all. When I asked the vet why she did that- he had no good answer. I also recorded that phone call, should it be needed for evidence. My 13 year old dog was whimpering in pain all night due to RAMSAUR and LUTZ negligence. Speaking to vet again the next morning - I asked the pain injection during anesthesia wore off. He said probably around 8pm - and then I asked - why didn't you send me home with pain medication then? He had NO good answer. He offered me to pick up pain medication - but you can't take back the pain my dog has already gone through. I ended up going elsewhere. Please advocate for your sweet pets. This is not the place to go. There are a lot of bad vets and this is one of them. They may be good for exotic animals but not dogs! I might ask them for a refund. I might even file a formal complaint with the state. Either way I wanted to warn future parents who love their pets. This is NOT the place to go. They need to be put out of business. Record your phone calls with them, record your interactions. They are not to be trusted. In Tennessee you can record your conversations if you're a party in it and you do not have to disclose it. want further information? feel free to reach out: chrissy kirkwood 615.358.8799 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZF8OF_QfWc

A Difficult Experience During a Painful Time…read more Losing a pet is incredibly hard, and when we faced the sudden decline of our beloved four-legged family member a year ago, we were emotionally vulnerable. Our regular vet recommended NVS when our senior dog suddenly couldn't move and was in obvious distress. We share this backstory to highlight our state of mind during our visit. After the initial exam, we were told our dog's condition could be terminal cancer or something else entirely, requiring surgery and tests for a definitive diagnosis. When we pressed for a prognosis, we received vague answers: days or weeks if it was terminal cancer, possibly years if it was something else. Given her advanced age, we questioned if putting her through surgery was truly in her best interest, and even asked about euthanasia, but received little guidance. The most jarring moment came when the surgeon, called in specially, told us, "I can give you five minutes to decide on the surgery. Then I leave" This comment, more than anything, shifted our focus from our pet's well-being to the surgeon's impatience. It left a lasting negative impression during an already agonizing decision-making process. Despite the uncertainty, and given less than ten minutes total to decide, we opted for surgery. The outcome was the worst-case scenario: terminal cancer. She might have weeks, maybe a few months. Ironically, the same surgeon who showed little empathy earlier offered the most poignant advice: "Be as present with her as you can." This, too, has stayed with us. During this stressful time, the discussion of costs arose. Over the phone, we were quoted upwards of $7,000, with an itemized breakdown including the initial exam, surgeon's consult, and surgical costs. We painstakingly confirmed the grand total multiple times, even writing it down for our records, as we were not at our best. We were told complications might make this go higher, but we would be called beforehand. At the end ended up around 10 thousand plus. There was no call. However, upon picking up our dog post-op, the bill was significantly higher. We were told we had "misheard" or "misunderstood," which we firmly disagreed with. They claimed the calls were recorded and they would listen back, leading us to believe the discrepancy would be resolved. We paid the inflated amount to take our dog home, but despite numerous follow-up calls, we never received a response or resolution regarding the overcharge. Our precious and loyal furbaby passed away just three weeks after the surgery. Now, with some distance, we can reflect on our experience. While we cannot blame NVS for her terminal condition, the overall lack of empathy and care shown towards both our pet and us during such a vulnerable time, coupled with the billing issue and subsequent unresponsiveness, lack oh empathy makes it impossible for us to recommend their services. One more thing the people at the front desk are just rude and cold with no c We still not hear from anyone to do a follow up on Torry and this means they don't care and just to hear their name make me sick. At the end of the day this place could and should be more understanding, emphatetic of the hard time when we deal with the health of our family members but for them is only money signs and like my grandmother used to say " actions speak Lauder then words? in this case no word nor actions.

I rushed my poor dog Fuzzy there in the middle of the night (a few months ago) after breathing hard for a few hours, hearing fluid in his lungs, and hoping they would do ANYTHING to help him. They snatched him up and ran him to the back but just stuck him in an O2 tank and devised a massive list of tests instead of beginning with the most crucial tests that HONEST veterinarians would've done immediately. They lied to me that he had calmed down and stopped panting and showed me their initial plan... around $5,000 of tests and many were double charges for the same thing! They invent ridiculous charges like "facility" and "Nurse on hand" like WHAT??? I'm paying for nurses to be where they already were even if they never looked at my dog??? I checked on Fuzzy and he was panting even harder and moaning terribly so I grabbed him and left because they were doing NOTHING to ease his stress and pain. They're LIARS and greedy scammers who have ZERO empathy for animals. I finally found a clinic who would run an ECG but it was too late and my sweet baby passed away from Pulmonary hypertension. Since then I've heard countless horror stories about the BluePearl franchise, the McDonald's of animal hospital services.
